From the minute you pull up to the cute store front, everything is wonderful!! Service was so friendly! The person who took our order was all smiles. We asked for some suggestions and everything was made hot and fresh right then. We ordered 4.5 dozen and they were ready fast, served to us warm and perfect!! This is the perfect spot for a unique tastey donut extravaganza!!

We had to try this place after seeing pictures of the little donuts! They're made fresh to order, worth the little wait. You can get half a dozen or a dozen and choose the glaze, toppings. We had the vanilla glaze and paired the donuts with the lattes. They're perfectly fried, with just the right amount of sweet. Would come back when in the area! Happy eating!

Tasty small donuts and Italian soda. I had the Samoa and chunky monkey donuts. Really good and a good size, a little bigger than donut holes. You can choose pre-made flavors or build your own by choosing a frosting, toppings and/or drizzle on top. For beverages, they also have hot chocolate, iced tea, Chai tea, and coffee. Order at the walk-up window or drive thru.

We came and visited and we are super glad we did. They not only have a super cute store (walk up) but the best mini doughnuts made fresh. The staff were super nice and we got 6 chocolate sprinkles and 6 pink sugar. These were so good. A "have to stop" when at Ocean Shores. Only open until 12pm and you have to also try the coffee drinks. Everything was great!

Donuts are so good. Love the amount of flavor options available. If you are allergic to bees beware they were all over here but seemed like it was a thing with most business down here. Only bad thing was the iced honey vanilla latte was super bitter.

Great service, wonderful donuts, and delicious strong coffee. Had to see what the hype was about as the line can be super long here. We finally made it on a morning where less tourists were there. Decided on a dozen of the cream cheese cinnamon sugar donuts & Oreo cream donuts. They were warm crisp on the outside and so soft and fluffy in the inside. My favorites were the cinnamon sugar ones as they taste like churros! Ordered an americano (thank you that it has 4 shots! Strong so beware.) we will be back because the staff are friendly and the line is worth the wait!

This is a must try gem in Ocean Shores located conveniently near the beach. Kookamunga's dozen donuts are just about $8 and you get 2 flavors. We went with powdered Donuts and added a raspberry drizzle and the raspberry sugar coated donuts were a must. We can't have enough raspberry and these two options were so good! The raspberry sugar mix is homemade and such a good spin on your classic sugar donut. Gives it that extra kick you know a sugar donut needs and who doesn't love raspberry anything?! These mini donuts are dense and delicious just like a mini donut should be. I loved the powder donuts and the extra drizzle is so simple yet mind blowing. Never before had I had anything drizzled on simple powder donuts and the raspberry was a perfect sweetness to a classic. They did warn us that a drizzle on powder would slip off but they made it work so good!

Definitely a must stop for donuts when visiting Ocean Shores! If it wasn't for my donut cravings when I was pregnant back in 2019, I would have never found out about this place. The donuts are soo good! Hot & fresh! There may be a bit of a wait, but so worth it. I've tried many flavors, but my favorite so far is the cream cheese and brownie brittle donuts. Also, customer service is always so nice. You don't want to miss out on these mini donuts. read more

Delicious donuts, great coffee, and even better service. We thought a dozen might be too many donuts... but they were gone in minutes. Great balance of crispy exterior and pillowy interior, and the toppings were excellent - crispy cookie topping, rich chocolate sauce, and a banana glaze that was particularly impressive, nailing that genuine fruit flavor while staying smooth and not too sweet. Pretty neat donuts and coffee spot. Doesn't have a sit down area, more of a drive thru or pick-up spot. Their mini donuts are delicious, we got the maple and sprinkle dozen. Both are their top seller. Coffee was okay, but expectations wasn't high either. Service was good, a bit slow during the time we were there but pretty much right when they open. Good coffee. It was definitely hot. Not the best ever. We got a tray of mini donuts. Half covered with pecan pie type topping and half with lemon. The toppings were a good portion but there was mass amounts of powdered sugar which made them very messy to eat. Especially on a breezy day walk. read more

A young man with a ponytail was gracious enough to serve my wife and I at 2:59 pm one minute before they closed (we are from out of town). He was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating for us and definitely deserves a raise. We got the maple pecan and espresso mini donuts - both delicious. I got an Americano and wife got an iced vanilla latte, both fantastic. We would definitely come again, especially for the service of the kind gentleman. 5 stars! read more

This place was seriously the best. We had our dogs and kids and needed a quick breakfast. Every place in town required sit in services. The workers here were fabulous, helpful and so kind. I was so impressed with these donuts. Their coffee was great and our pups even got a snack. Our kids have insisted that we return every trip from now on. Thank you for the great experience Kookamunga! Blackberry cheese cake was the best even though my kids will fight me on that for the s'more and cookies and cream. read more

I saw this cute little building ad pop up when I made my reservations for the weekend. Tried it out. The delightful person at the drive thru was so fun and friendly. Donuts were scrumptious! For some reason this spot comes up when searching gluten free food. They do not offer gluten free doughnuts though. I had a vanilla latte and it was good! My family had doughnuts and they hit the spot! They were adorable also. Staff is friendly :) read more

Yummy donuts and yummy coffee! I don't typically eat donuts but, when I pulled up to this place to get a coffee, the donut menu looked irresistible! The wife owner and barista were so incredibly nice. The barista had a phenomenal personality! Very friendly, calling everyone by a sweet pet name. From the moment I walked in and began placing my order, the employee had a noticeably negative and rude tone that made me feel unwelcome. As I continued ordering more donuts, her attitude seemed to improve, but the interaction still didn't feel genuinely friendly. What really crossed the line was what happened after I paid. She commented that I didn't leave a tip, which I found to be extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Tips are optional, and customers should never be made to feel uncomfortable or called out for not leaving one. The donuts were delicious, but the employee's attitude and inappropriate comment completely overshadowed the experience. Because of the poor customer service, I will not be returning.

I was craving Indian fry bread. You go to the front door of her home (door is open) and ring the bell. There, her husband with a Nebraska Cornhusker's cap greets you. This house is the oldest on the Reservation she says. She was born and raised there for 73 years and counting. She sells homemade Indian Fried Bread, Strawberry Waffles, and Apple Fritters - my husband's favorite. I order the 2 fried bread for $6. You can ask for jelly, butter, honey, cinnamon. It's one of the best Indian Fried Bread I've ever had. I wanted to eat it up so fast, but couldn't because it was piping hot. It was not greasy at all. It was crisp on the outside, and just absolutely heavenly in the inside. The Apple Fritter is made with Indian Fried Bread, topped with apples mixed with cinnamon! Delicious! Don't miss this stop!! You may have to stop, U-turn, but it's worth it! Yummy!

As a flight attendant and an unapologetic foodie, I've eaten my way through cities all over the world. You learn pretty quickly when a restaurant is simply serving food versus when it's serving something made with genuine care. This place falls firmly into the second category. The customer service? Just the sweet Rainier cherry on top of an already incredible experience (and yes... go look at their bakery case while you're there). Jocelyn was phenomenal. I asked how this little slice of heaven came to be, and she happily shared the story behind it. One owner spent years as an executive chef at a casino, while the other built a career as a professional baker in Aberdeen. Boy, does that expertise show. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. A little context: I mostly eat pescatarian these days, so when I do splurge on chicken, my expectations are sky high. I've built it up in my head as one of the foods I miss most (right alongside a good ribeye), and it's almost always disappointing. Not this time. This chicken is absolutely ridiculous. They debone a chicken thigh and fry it into the crispiest, juiciest piece of fried chicken I've had in a long time. It's made with a gluten-free batter, which means more people get to enjoy it. And before anyone assumes "gluten-free" means sacrificing flavor... think again. Plenty of great chefs will tell you the best fried coatings come from starches like potato or cornstarch anyway. What really made this meal special, though, was that my partner is vegan. If you've ever dined out with someone who's vegan while you aren't, you know how rare it is for both people to walk away feeling like they had an equally great meal. It almost never happens. Here, it did. She ordered the vegan Indian tacos with corn tortillas, and they looked incredible. She was excited to try the fry bread, and instead of simply serving it, the staff thoughtfully explained it wasn't vegan and helped her choose an alternative. That's the kind of attention to detail you don't forget. Our service was perfectly paced. If you're looking for food in five minutes, there are plenty of places where "cooking" means microwaving something that arrived frozen. This isn't one of those places. Everything tastes intentional, and that takes time. Our food still arrived in under 20 minutes, maybe even less. Slow down, talk to the people you're with, and enjoy the experience. Great food isn't supposed to feel rushed. We stumbled across this gem on our drive home from Ocean Shores, and I'm so glad we did. I only wish it were closer to home because we'd become regulars in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this place enough.
