FiDi has been getting a lot of Korean fast casual places lately! Finally had the chance to try Koreatgo recently. If you are really too hungry and there's no other choice, then you can stop by here. There was only one staff working ( chef, cashier, server) when we arrived, and the place didn't have many food options available--my friend and I ordered several items from the menu, but many of them weren't available. This was recommended by a coworker so I decided to take a trip for lunch today. The place is big enough to eat inside and the staff was very helpful with providing suggestions. I decided to get a regular sized bowl. I think that's what it's called. It came with two base options so I picked the glass noodles and the white rice and then it came with two meat options and I chose beef Bulgogi and salmon which is an extra dollar and 50 Cent charge, but it is fresh salmon and he makes it to order and it was worth the wait then you're able to get up to five sides. I believe I did kale, carrot, kimchi corn, and cucumber salad. Then you have an option to add a sauce, I asked for a suggestion and he told me to do the Korean barbecue aïoli which was delicious and then I had a side of chili oil. I believe everything came out to maybe $16 that was with the tip and it was delicious and a lunch worthwhile. I will definitely be coming again!!! read more

Honestly not the best or authentic Korean food. Chipotle style layout / menu. Would recommend this spot for a quick lunch if you work in the area but nothing more. We got two bowls (jap chae & kimchi fried rice) the jap chae was good but the kimchi fried rice barely had any taste... the chicken (soy grilled chicken & teriyaki chicken) also lacked a lot of flavor. The only plus about this place is the portion they give you which is plenty but it should be since they're $16 each. There's not many Korean spots in the seaport area and this one kinda disappointed read more

Decided to try out this spot after our global entry interview. It reminds me of a Korean chipotle with so much more options. They have the option for bowls of different sizes : mini, single, double. Great options for your base, protein and sides. They make the fried chicken fresh so you'll have to wait a bit. My husband got the single with fried chicken and realized his portion of chicken was less than my mini, so I asked for more if possible. They said they don't do it as a side at first but I explained that his portion was very small (5 lil pieces). I honestly think they gave me his portion because I had way more, but they made an exception and gave us some more. I love that they had different drink options in the seating area, including some Korean drinks. The one with hello kitty was a no brainer for me, I bought two more to go home with. It was an okay experience. This Korean fast casual eatery, located in FiDi, serves up some fairly tasty eats with some caveats. A decent option for those working nearby. Pros: Tasty sauce options, well marinated beef, hearty servings. Service was nice. Cons: The store gave off a cluttered, slightly unkempt vibe. At $18 a bowl, I felt I shouldn't have been up charged for selecting beef. Slightly too salty. Overall, I'd probably go somewhere else the next time my Korean food cravings hit. read more

Didn't enjoy my meal whatsoever. Went late evening and the food wasn't very fresh (not my fault ) . The rice was dried out and clunk , teriyaki chicken was too sweet and the fish cake smelled stale . I enjoyed nothing on my plate and didn't finish my meal despite being hungry which is a very telling sign. In comparison to Koba that is similar in many aspects, this missed the mark ! read more

Fast service, plenty of choices, and good portion sizes! I loved that kimchi fried rice is available as a base with no extra charge -- haven't seen that anywhere else. They do rotating specials so a different protein is discounted every day of the week. I had the spicy chicken which was flavorful and nicely made. It is a bit on the sweeter side as spicy Korean proteins tend to be, but not more so than any other Korean restaurant around here. For the sides, the corn slaw was especially delicious, with the scallion kimchi coming in second for me. These sides are served cold and provide a nice "side salad" almost as you eat the hot parts of your bowl (they also offer to add lettuce on top for free in addition to the sides you select). Being able to pick these sides instead of getting a standardized set of banchan is fun and makes me excited to eat here again, trying out new flavors each time. read more

TLDR: great food packed with flavor at an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommend Came here for lunch after seeing that it was a newer store (opened in May 2024) . As I walked in, I was welcomed by the staff and immediately helped. The store itself was very clean and bright. There are a few seats to dine-in at. Was not sure what to order but it is set up as an assembly line so very easy to figure out. They have a lot of great looking food so I can only imagine how creative some platters can get. Everything looked extremely decadent but I opted with the spicy pork (not that spicy) over a layer of japchae and kimchi fried rice (extremely flavorful). The sides I got (sweet radish, kimchi, pickled carrots) were all very crunchy and the corn was also very good. The meal (after the 15% protein of the day discount) was only $12 which is a great bargain in FiDi and the portions were very generous. I was actually surprised at how much protein was given. Highly recommend this place for lunch as it is very different to the other options in the area. read more

Finally got around to trying this place and picked up lunch. I ordered the single and selected japchae as my base, bulgogi as my protein (up charge) and 5 sides (potato salad, sweet cucumber, kale, kimchi, and spicy tofu broccoli) then added sriracha mayo for the sauce (originally wanted sesame aioli but they ran out). It came out to be around $17. It's a hearty meal and a good sized portion. The bulgogi was a bit too salty for me but everything else was tasty. The staff were also very friendly. There's also lots of tables to sit and dine. Would like to try their noodle dish next time. read more

Stopped in for lunch and this was delicious! You order as you would any line service establishment, and their interior is very new and clean. They have a good amount of seating as well! I tried their daily special meats (soy garlic chicken & chili chicken) and both were super flavorful. Not sure if these flavors are the most authentic, but it was delicious regardless. Everything was really good. I loved their bases and toppings as well. The garlic mayo was SO GOOD. This meal honestly hit the spot. I had the small size, and it was a great serving size! Ate here on a Tuesday lunch, the place was pretty quiet, so don't expect a vibe here. But the service was welcoming and friendly with the staff taking the time to walk me through the available options. I ordered a single bowl with glass noodles & kimchi rice base and kimchi tofu, veggie dumplings and tons of sides. Overall, flavors were great, I love the sauces and all the pickled sides, so delicious. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that the whole experience was basically a hot bar, and as you could expect, I wish some items tasted a little fresher. Would I come back, yeah if I was craving Korean food and was in rush, for sure. It's good value and tasty. But would I go out of my way to try again, probably not. read more

It is so hard to find Korean food in the FiDi area, let alone good Korean food. So I'm happy that Koreatogo exists as a lunch option now. The place opened not too long ago. Upon entering, you can see that there is a good amount of seating indoors and that you can pick up utensils off to the side. For food, I got their single combo which comes with one base, one protein, and four sides (it says 3 on the menu, but the server said 4!). I ended up getting a bowl with japchae, soy garlic fried chicken, cabbage, corn slaw, kimchi scallion, lettuce, and garlic sauce on top. Even before eating, I could tell the food was going to be good. And it was! The japchae was flavored well, the fried chicken had a good crunch to it (as one expects for korean fried chicken), and the sides complemented the bowl. Also, the portion was perfect for lunch. They are doing a 15% promotion right now, so go take advantage of the deal and check this place out. Looking forward to stopping by for lunch again in the near future! read more

Food is delicious and if you get 2 proteins you will definitely be full. I'm always super full when I finish having their food which is great. Very flavorful especially their ribs and bulgogi. The corn slaw is one of my favorite sides. The service is always fast and I'm usually in and out within 5 mins. I try to eat here at least 3x a month. read more

Another Korean option in the Seaport neighborhood and it is worth a try. I liked the Korean bbq ribs and the spicy pork. Lots of side dish options. My favorites are the white sweet radish, kimchi, cucumber kimchi when it is available. They are flexible with the rice option, you can get a scoop of kimchi fried rice and the vegetable fried rice. The japchae noodles are good. Overall, good experience and will come back for a fourth time. Currently there's a 15% opening discount. read more

Food is pretty good, kimchi rice is the bomb, meat marinades a tad on the sweet side. Biggest gripe and it's a big one for me, they are super stingy on the sides. Despite calling themselves the Korean Chipotle, it costs extra for more than 3 sides and the portions you do get are tiny. Like 1 tablespoon tiny. Don't expect chipotle size scoops of pickled onions, but for the price it's an absurdly small amount. Which is surprising because they are fairly generous with the meat and rice. read more

Don't usually right reviews, but I saw this place was opening and popped in. The food is...bad? The bulgogi beef had multiple large pieces of gristle in it and the kimchi (a food i love) was too salty too eat. I didn't care for the carrot rapees and it certainly didn't meld with the rest of the food. The kimchi fried rice tasted fine, nothing special, but came in a pool of oil. It seems like the menu here was both not well thought out and ill-prepared. The staff was lovely. read more

I had to write this review bc i saw someone gave this place a one star and that's not fair. What you see is what you get! I would excuse the grand opening hiccups as they are establishing their menu and taste. I have been twice and love it both times for what it is (not pretentious food as i enjoy korean street markets). It's just delicious Korean fast food !!! What a hidden treasure in the Wall Street/Fulton Street area. This a newly opened eat in or takeout Korean eatery. They are giving 15% off these days, so it is worth trying every dish. Their beef bulgogi with kimchi rice and a few other condiment sides was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try their chicken and veggie combos. Highly recommended. Pricing is very reasonable with perfect portions for a hearty meal. read more

It felt homemade!! The ambience was very very cozy and nice. The interior is warm and cozy and intimate, it's great for a night with friends, or even a date night!! I love any spot with soft lighting. Even late at night, the restaurant felt relaxed and inviting. Service was also great. I ordered the soju flight but I ended up not liking it so my cousins shared it. The meal comes with different veggies as well as your choice of soup. We got the spicy tofu and split it 6 ways. The spice lived up to its name, so I didn't eat very much. The best part was meat. Despite there being 6 of us, there was plenty to go around. I think you have the option to cook it yourself or have them cook it for you and we chose the latter. While I enjoyed it, I wish there was more space. Most of the space was taken up by the accompaniments that come with it (veggies, etc), so there was hardly any room to put anything else. It didn't help that none of our dishes were cleared once we finished them and that no rice is included. Aside from that, both the food and service were great.

The format here is tableside cooking handled entirely by a dedicated chef, which changed the experience considerably. The meats came out properly and in the right sequence, and having someone manage the grill meant nothing got overcooked or neglected while I was distracted by conversation. The Nubiani Package is the standard way to go and covered a solid range of cuts. Meat quality was high across the board, well marbled and fresh, the kind of thing that reminded me why I was paying what I was paying. The banchan selection was generous and well prepared, and the egg soufflé that came as part of the meal was a high quality dish. Service throughout was attentive in a way that never felt intrusive. Banchan got replenished without me having to ask, the pacing moved at a comfortable rate, and the staff seemed genuinely familiar with the menu and how the meal was supposed to flow. There is a time limit on the reservation, which is standard for the format, so it is worth knowing going in. Reservations through Resy are essentially required, and they will not seat your party until everyone has arrived, so plan for that. For the quality of the meat, the service, and the overall experience, Nubiani justifies what it charges.
