I like bartending so I had a very interesting conversation with the bartender on the origin of drinks such as the Daiquiri and Cuba Libre, as well as the many ways to make a Mojito. I considered making this a four star review because the ladies restroom was hot, damp, and not super clean...but avoid having to go to the bathroom here and it's a 5 star experience! Korner 67 has great vegetarian options! There was so much to choose from! There's a notation in the bottom said that plates are either small, medium, large, or extra large and mostly meant for sharing. I ordered the pear fiocchi (size: large), and it was absolutely delicious; however, I wouldn't say it's a large size and meant for sharing. I don't usually finish my pasta dishes at restaurants, and I finished it completely (and didn't offer to share either - it was that good!). Maybe with an appetizer and some side dishes, it would be good for sharing. We also ordered two mocktails - the passion fruit drink and hibiscus drink. They were great mocktails! I appreciate when a place puts in the effort to make the non-alcoholic drinks just as fun as the cocktails. My husband ordered the pesto pasta, and it was very good too. He had originally asked for shrimp on it, but they got confused with the order, and they sent it out vegetarian. He was disappointed, but he said it was still great. The ambiance is fun and trendy. The area outside was also a fun place to walk around on a Friday night. Parking was packed, but it was free! read more

Plenty to choose from on the menu, a thorough cocktail list and the most pleasant servers I've encountered in quite some time. We stopped in before a show at the theater and from the moment we sat down, we enjoyed ourselves. The plates are served tapas style, with an S,M or L next to the names to denote their size. Really confused by the good reviews. Should have known better- a fusion restaurant is usually bust, how can you be Venezuelan, Peruvian, Japanese etc. the croquetas were subpar- rather go to the corner Cuban place. The mushroom pasta was dry with no flavor . My husbands dish was also pretty terrible. read more

The vibe of the restaurant is dark, moody, and romantic, making it a perfect spot for a cozy, intimate dinner with your special someone. Our server was fantastic! super friendly and knowledgeable. When I asked for recommendations, she was happy to guide us and even showed us pictures of the dishes she suggested. The dates were a must-try! They were absolutely delicious. The goat cheese took a second to really pop, but once it did, it was full of incredible, complex flavors. We came here for a last minute dinner after an event and snagged an undercover table on a rainy evening. I've had this place on my foodie wishlist for awhile so it seemed like the right time to check it out. Overall the meal was solid. Service was a little spotty at times which is what keeps this review from being a 5 star. That and the cocktail I ordered was way too sweet, which is disappointing as I specifically asked the server what she recommended for someone that doesn't like very sweet drinks. I took maybe 2 sips and was overpowered by the sweetness. My sushi roll was very good, except a few bites in the overpowering taste of truffle took hold, which is weird because it's not listed on the menu. It may have been a result of cross contamination with another roll or the preparation space. I have a strong aversion to truffle oil so this was a bit off-putting. The arugula salad was delicious, with generous amounts of goat cheese, walnuts, and pear, offering a delicious balance of flavors with every bite. No news to report on the filet as I didn't try it, but my guy enjoyed it. We skipped out on dessert as it as getting late. If we find ourselves in the area, we may give this place another go, but I wouldn't venture out of Kendall for it based on this experience. Not that means it wasn't good. What an amazing spot! It's nestled into a fantastic circle plaza in Miami Lakes, you can go for a nice stroll after your meal to wind down. Parking is plentiful, might be a small walk if you come at a busy time and can't get street parking. Atmosphere here is definitely upbeat, classy evening vibes with the friends. I loved the modern, rustic decor and the dim lighting. Music is moderately loud so you can chat openly with your party and have a great time. Definitely get here before 7 or make reservations, it fills all the way up. This is a tapas, share style restaurant with a variety of ethnic food styles. I was concerned at the size of their menu, but cannot say enough about the quality of food they put out. We ordered croquettes, cheese, yakitori, sliders and oysters and everything was 10/10, delicious. I even ordered a mocktail and it was the first time I've ordered a mocktail and it wasn't just a sweet mess of juice and seltzer. Get the ginger sage mocktail if you are more of a bubbly, spicy drinker. My fiance got the truffle old fashioned and was blown away at the flavor profile. The staff was just as fantastic as the food; polite, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful with ordering. I can't recommend this place though and I will 100% be back! read more

He made great recommendations and did a good job explaining the dishes to help us choose the best option We started with the Truffle-Shiitake Croquettes, which is so flavorful and cooked so well. The secret start is the lettuce which has a nice drizzle of truffle. We also had Smoked Burrata, which had a great presentation and good flavor profile. I want to start off by saying the food was delicious. The service though not so much. I sat at the bar and had a waitress working there attend me that was not very nice and had a big outburst. I asked for extra sauces twice for my meal that had just arrived and the server told me loudly to stop and that she had enough of me asking for things as she loudly walked away. This quickly changed my appetite and I had to force the food down my throat to at least eat something because it was my only meal of the day. I left there feeling terrible and abused since the lady did get very loud with me. Since the beginning she was not very happy to serve me and she let it be known. I did not say anything to her since I did not want to start a confrontation with her. I just considered not asking for anything else which only made dinner worse. I was thirsty and hungry but she made me feel very uncomfortable. Korner 67 is great but this was a horrible experience. This is my neighborhood restaurant for that I would rather drive far away to have better service. Brimstone in pines or bonefish in Weston would be a better option than going back. read more

Our son took us to Korner67 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food here is delicious and the service is always excellent. Hubert has been our waiter in the past and this time again, he was very attentive and friendly. We love the ambience. We have sat inside before but this time, we sat outside and we loved it. We were looking for a good place to eat while in Hialeah/Miami Lakes we found this place which had really good reviews in Yelp. Restaurant was nice - food was good. The menu was a little limited with options and substitutions but the quality of ingredients good. I did find it a little pricey for what you were getting and the menu was half fried foods which is not great if you avoid seed oils. We ordered a fondue, the burrata and the carpaccio. All delicious. The presentation was ok - I think they could do more with the fondue. The burrata presentation was beautiful. Service was not good. They forgot to order our carpaccio and we were just sitting there waiting for the last meal. When we asked about it, she said she forgot. Then they brought it out with all the sauce on top even though we told them no sauce. I wouldn't come again but I'm happy I got to try someplace new. read more

Also some things I tried were the bacon wrapped dates which were exquisite.. the croquets were also out of this world. The matcha French toast was really good too! The ribeye noodles were not on Miami spice but were the best. The spicy watermelon margarita was soooo good including tajin on the rim was fire. 10/10! Great quality food and service. We ordered a fondue which was my least favorite, the burata cheese (I blame my wife for all the cheese this order but this was good) and the beef carpaccio. They forgot the last order so it took forever to get it. And when they brought it out it had sauce even though we asked for none due to allergies. But the dish was delicious nonetheless. His recommendations were incredible. The bacon wrapped goat cheese stuffed dates were my favorite. It's a tapas style dining experience and I love how on the menu they use S, M, L to specify the size of the dish (small, medium & large). The owner's father came by our table to ask how everything was going. He reminded me of my grandfather, very sweet man and he was genuinely concerned with ensuring we have a great experience. Went here for brunch because of the Miami Spice menu and it was so worth it. Loved that the three course meal had good portions and they were extremely delicious. The Espresso Martini was strong and done to perfection. Had the fried cauliflower to start which was crispy and the special sauce made it taste even better. For entree had the french toast and OMG it was so moist and perfect with matcha on the side. Loved that the restaurant had a great relaxing feeling to it and everyone was able to talk and have a good time. Our waiter was always very attentive and giving great recommendations. We ended up here on our way down to see a show, hungry, and wanting something other than Cuban food we decided to give this place a try blind, didn't even read a review or check the menu first. It worked out!! Down a busy little side street lined with shops of every sort, we found this place (appropriately enough) on a corner, walked in and got immediately greeted and seated. The place is very nice, dim but not dark, quiet, comfortable and inviting. Our server explained the idea of the menu, a concept built on sharing, where each dish has an S, an M, or an L next to it for the size of the item you're looking at. We started with cocktails (cuz why wouldn't you?) and each of us chose perfectly. The lovely Spensyr had a prickly pear caipirinha, while I had a white truffle old fashioned. First course was Truffle Hamachi Tiradito. Thick pieces of hamachi (Japanese yellowtail) laying in a shallow bath of truffle oil and soy sauce, topped with thin sliced jalapeño. So good!! Followed that with Gallega Octopus. Chilled charred octopus served with fried potatoes, sweet peppers, onions and capers. Next up was Pear Fiocchi. Tender pasta purses filled with pear puree in a brown butter sauce with crispy fried sage leaves and pine nuts. The accompanying side of fresh grated Parmesan was just the right amount of salty to complement the sweet. Our final dish of the night was their Surf & Turf sushi roll. A shrimp tempura roll topped with seared USDA Prime filet mignon and a pico de gallo sauce. Delicious! Every dish was expertly constructed, and perfectly portioned to be just enough but not too much, and I can't find anything bad to say about any of it. read more

Stopped by today. Wanted to sit in a corner section in the terrace with my dog which I have done multiple times. It was noon time and the entire terrace section was empty. After being told by one of the servers that it was not possible she then when inside to check. A different server came out and told me the specific table I inquired about was reserved; no sign on the table showing it was reserved. Apparently they like to assigned their customers where to sit; even when the place is empty. Now you know why I will not be returning to Korner 67. read more
