Be careful if you are vegetarian. Ordered vegetable dumplings and got pork. Restaurant did nothing to remedy the situation. Unless "vegetable" dumplings normally come filled with pork, in which is an issue in itself as the menu is not correctly labelled. read more

Place was clean, waitress was friendly. We had a tempura California roll and the stir friend beef. The tempura roll had little taste, not enough rice or tempura. The beef stir fried rice was not good. It tasted like salt and butter and there was very little beef. When we got the bill, the beef stir fry price on the bill was $2 more than on the menu. By far the worst sushi place we've been to . Had garlic edamame- wow - didn't think you could mess up edamame. No seasoning and drowned in minced garlic (not fresh ). Edamame also tasted dirty - like it wasn't cleaned . Also had a sushi roll . Cucumber was chewy , not crispy or flavorful at all . The ONLY good thing was the cinnamon and ginger tea (I had it cold and added sake ) so good and refreshing. read more

Koshi is a great option if you are in the mood for Korean or Japanese food. I have had a little bit of both cultures here at Koshi and I do not see any lack of authenticity. However, they do have a couple fusions over here. For example: their Spicy Tuna Taco. This $3 taco we have here might just have to be my favorite thing on this menu. Spicy Tuna Sushi ingredients housed in a smooth and soft tortilla. The spicy tuna has great kick to it. It's actually spicy and the avocado on top provides that smooth and refreshing relief from that heat. It was just really well put together overall. All ingredients were fresh, everything was just great. The Beef Chapchae is an excellent Korean noodle dish. The beef was full of flavor and the clear noodles had this amazing slightly chewy texture that I expected out of Chapchae. Their shrimp shumai is deep fried nicely with an excellent crust on the outside with a very airy and light inside. The mushroom soup gives that small hint of soy and really complimented the rest of sushi meal which was also very good. All of my sushi was fresh and rolled nicely. Being a Korean and Japanese restaurant expect some things to be more expensive than usual but with a slight trade off as their Korean dishes are slightly cheaper than usual. It works for me. Not bad. My friend and I decided to visit Koshi on a Friday night since every other place seemed uncomfortably packed during covid. I was relaxed once we entered because there was massive space between us and the other patrons. The sushi is fresh but nothing fancy. I tried a specialty roll that featured spicy tuna, avocado and tempura shrimp. We also ordered a bottle of wine. Everything was good. The service was a bit slow though..I feel like our server got lost at some points during the time we were there. I'd be back but it wouldn't be my first choice due to the service alone. read more

holy moly! everything we ordered was fantastic. the sushi was incredibly fresh. the shrimp Yakiudon might have been the best noodle dish I have ever eaten. The food here is still and continues to be simply amazing and from day 1 consistent. We had fantastic rolls last weekend, and decided to eat from here again this weekend. I decided on the chicken Katsu, absolute perfection, the flavors so on point and the sauce just a perfect palette of richness Smokey umami that you can't quite place your finger on but it's incredibly delicious. My husband had the rock and roll special roll and the salmon killer roll, and they were not only gorgeous looking but he said absolutely delicious, and they were deep fried! YUM If you aren't eating here, you should be. We don't stay and eat, due to current times being what they are......we order on their easy to use site, and get it to go. So what I am saying is you are sooooooo missing out, and to give this place a try, you wont be sorry. Next time I will post pics, and can't wait to try that Korean coffee read more

My husband and I are total foodies and have had our share of Asian cuisine. Koshi has a great blend of traditional Japanese & Korean dishes. The Chicken Katsu & Beef Bibimbap were superb!! This place is good and the chef is very nice but the wait staff is sooooo bad. I have gone here three times. Once when they first opened for take out and everything was fine. The second time I ate in with a group and it was a disaster, the waitress was so bad you almost had to laugh. Having to ask multiple times just to get a water refilled, taking nearly 30m to even get our order to put in, orders put in incorrectly, waiting soooo long for the check despite being the only ones left in the place. Just really bad. Tried to give them one more try and ordered take out ( figured that was safe) went to pick it up and waited about 15m in the lobby (the waitress/hostess took our name twice bc apparently she forgot the first time ‍) only for them to tell us our order was canceled bc they were too busy and we received a notification. There was no notification, no email or text or call. To top it all off the almost 70$ bill was still charged to my account. To be fair when we called regarding the charge they said it could take 7d for us to see the charge reversed so hopefully that is the case. Also I do not blame them for canceling this was a holiday and they were super busy I get that. But I am annoyed they did not alert us before we went to pick this meal up then left us standing in the lobby waiting for a meal that wasn't there. Typically during the week I would image people are leaving work on their lunch break and time it out so an extra 20 min makes a big difference. Also in my experience a Kani Salad is a salad in itself. Was $7 and on a bed of iceburg lettuce .. 75% lettuce and 25% actual kani salad. I given them so many chances because I like supporting small businesses and really like the owner really nice guy. Advice need to get new sushi chef. Sushi was 1000% better when owner was making it. Rice is sometimes hard or warm. Quality of fish is hit or miss. Need to change the spicy Salmon and tuna recipe. The sauce did not taste good at all, but was better in the beginning the spicy salmon roll would be better if it was minced not a hunk of fish with that sauce on it. I am so disappointed with our service! I came here a week ago with a friend and we were very excited, as we had heard amazing things about this place. It wasn't busy at all, only one other table in there when we had arrived. Our server took a while to come over but that was okay, we were still reviewing the menu. Once we ordered, we noticed a few other people come in. About 20 minutes later, we noticed that the table that came in after us had already gotten their soups/salads but we hadn't yet. We started to grow a little anxious at this point. Then our server came over and said "I'm sorry for the wait, can I take your order?" We were shocked! We had already placed our order a half hour ago at this point. The server claimed she had lost our order ticket but didn't bother to check back in with us sooner, and the whole time she was on her phone behind the counter. So we sat there for a total of 40 minutes. We were very upset and already starving at this point so we left. I would love to actually try the food, but I will not be coming back any time soon after that horrible service! read more
