We have lived near Kosta's for as long as it's been there. Over the course of that time, I don't think I have ever had anything bad or where they screwed up our order. We have eaten in, got our order to go and it is always solid. Now, have I had a better gyro elsewhere? Yes. Have I had better burgers or hot dogs elsewhere? Yes. But overall, always solid tasting food. I like all of the options on the gyro and chicken sandwiches. They are all excellent. Kosta's always delivers delicious food. Are the prices in line with everywhere else? Yes, it's pricey, but where is it not? Since it is the only 3 minutes from our house, we will continue to support this local food business until they give us reasons to go elsewhere. read more

I arrived and say people sitting inside eating. Kosta's, you need to keep you information up to date. No pick up place found so I went in to pick up my food. Mind you it's 10 min before I requested the food to be ready. I mentioned the web information was incorrect and got shrugged shoulders and the "ain't my job" look. Said she'll tell the manager. 2days later nothing was changed. I opened it in my car as I planned to eat in the parking lot. I could tell the order had been sitting around for a while. Worst customer service ever! I ordered a bowl of soup last week paid for it, got home and it was a cup! I called in to speak to someone and I spoke to a man. He told me next time I was in to come in and get a credit. I go tonight to get soup expecting to pay the difference. The kid I spoke to made me feel like I was trying to get away with something. He went on to tell me he had Covid and he was the only one working last week! Well if you have Covid why are you working around food and people. It feels like it's slipping here a bit from what was the norm in the past. The co2 ran out for all the soda so it all tasted bleh. The tomato's on the sandwiches were mushy. The catchup in the dispenser was watery. It's understandable staffing is hard right now so I give places a lotta leeway when it comes to waiting times, lines etc. On the other hand we paid almost $30 for two sandwiches, fries and soda's. If it was $10 I would not make a comment because I got what I paid for. But at $30 I can wait a bit but it must taste good otherwise why eat out? read more

We usually only come here when I have a hankering for fried mushrooms, and I have to say that beefs, dogs and kids chicken strips are all very good. Today I tried a wrap and although the lettuce was fresh and had a nice crunch, not only was the dressing not tossed with it, but the wrap was so loose it was hard to eat. Terrible customer service. Ordered a wrap with gyro meat to go. Got home and no gyro meat. It's the equivalent of going out for a burger and getting everything but the patty. They gave me two options. I could make a 20 minute round trip and pick up a new one or they'd refund me $3.40 on a $20 wrap. I decided to hang up and throw out the piece of trash I was given and won't be returning. Guess nobody taught these clowns the lifetime value of a customer. read more

Kosta's Gyros is definitely a neighborhood hot spot. While I was in picking up my order, tons of locals came in including a lot of families just after a baseball game decked out in their gear. Aw, suburbia! I walked in and was greeted by the young cashier. She was quick and accurate in my order and it only took a couple of minutes for my order to be ready. They had a lot that sounded good on their menu and I debated getting a salad or grilled chicken...something healthy. Indulgent gluttony won out - it usually does for me. I got the 2 Hot Dog Special which includes 2 hot dogs (surprise), fries and a fountain drink for $6.67 with tax. Although not overly amazing, it was pretty good. The hot dogs were on poppy seed buns and with the real stuff - Vienna Beef. The krinkle cut french fries were served super crispy and I appreciated that. When it comes to krinkle cut, they need to be well cooked instead of mushy and soft. Overall had a decent dinner and would go back, no doubt. However, I'd probably try other menu items like their signature gyros. read more

as much buisness that you do you and the price hikes you would be able to cover the use of credit cards. be very careful pulling anything liquid out of your takeout orders. I order 2 qyros, beef sandwhich, fries and a quart of soup. Go to pull soup out of bag and lid comes off and spill soup over the rest of the order. With a cantainer this large and knowing that the soup container lid is not secured that they would at least tape the lid down..... Advice either stop buying the cheap container with lids that are not secured or start taping the lids down..... Just poor customer service. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Ordered through Uber Eats. Gyros meat arrived cold, salad was soggy, and there was a nasty note written on my receipt saying "next time pay for it". I had asked for an extra tzatziki sauce. Guess what, you a**holes, there was NO place on the Uber app where I could order the sauce by itself. I had no problem with you adding the charge on. But of course, you couldn't move your lazy posteriors and add that on. That would require picking up a pencil and writing it in, which I guess was too much work. Much easier to write nasty notes on receipts, right? Well, guess what--that's the last time I'm ordering from this greasy spoon with rotten service and childish, ignorant employees. Not my first stop here, but every now and then the stars align and somethin' good happens. This was one of those times. I found a coupon for a free Gyros sandwich, and Kosta's was honoring them. When I got there the line was out the door but It didn't take long to get inside. About one hour from arrival to the time I left; not bad for an event like this. They had three gyros spits going and they were all busting they're asses back there to keep up with the demand. I'd say they did a good job of it. The gyros was great- some of the freshest, hottest gyros I've had in years! He'll, even the tomatoes were ripe and red, not like those half-ripe hard things most places give you. While this has been my go-to place and the burgers are very good, my daughter ordered the kids combo mac n cheese and without doubt this is the worst kids meal and value I've ever seen. About 1/2 cup of mac and cheese (probably from an off-brand box) with a cup for a drink for $6.20. I asked the manager about it (manager there is great - she is always sharp) and all she could say is that is how the owner does it and it's always been that way. All the other kid combos are substantial but the mac n cheese combo is a complete rip-off. Owner needs to take action here because it just turned me off to kostas despite their great burgers.
