The only thing the videos got right was the empty parking lot. I stopped by on a Tuesday and immediately noticed some concerning issues. There was a leak in the ceiling, with water collecting on top of a display. The soda machine was out of service, and the meat department didn't inspire much confidence since some of the meat was already starting to turn brown. The famous $1 tacos is now closer to $3 and fried chicken that influencers were calling "the best in town." Sadly, neither lived up to the hype. The food was underwhelming, and I honestly don't understand what all the excitement is about.

My mom used to always buy 주물럭 from this market and it was pretty decent. Recently, I've noticed they're mixing in other cuts of meat while still charging the same price. That pisses me off because it's dishonest and obviously lack integrity. In the attached photo, the very left thicker meat is the 주물럭 but the thinner meat surrounding it is not. I don't know what cut of meat is it but they're definitely not 주물럭. Honestly, if they're already doing this, I'm pretty sure they're also using older meat too, since the 양념 would easily cover up any changes in color or taste. Because of that, I just don't trust this place anymore and I'm not going to buy 양념고기 here again.

Everything is imported from England/ London and the price does reflect that. Still, no biggie for me. It's always hard when you travel to another county and want to bring back a bunch of souvenirs for friends and family, but you don't have the space in your suitcase. Bummer lol Not to worry, you can find gift items here! They sell chocolates and candies from England. That's fun! They have bags, cooking mitts, and pot holders that are cute. They have a large parking lot, but it's also pretty bus at times. This is a big grocery store with a wide variety of Asian foods. I got some shrimp chips which I like and cannot find at other stores. The seafood section was PERFECT! They had such a wide variety of seafood from fresh in fish tanks, to frozen in the open freezers. I would definitely highly recommend visiting for fresh seafood and Asian foods. The place is pretty crowded and we did look out of place, but I didn't care. People were friendly and even if they had limited English they would try to communicate with us and help us. It is a pretty crowded space so be aware of that. They form one long queue for the checkout and go sorting through the lanes. Overall I have a new go to place for seafood.

Called them to ask if they could exchange the broken bottle and the lady that answered basically told me theres nothing she could do unless I have proof that it broke there. I always buy boxed soju and never had this happen so I never thought to check inside the box. Mishandled there cuz I drove straight home after buying. She also added that I should have caught it and not bought it. I would never in a million year do a review for the market but I am definitely not returning back to this location. Check everything before you leave the store is a lesson I learned. Looking at the bottom of the box I guess there is a little stain mark lol I should have caught that before buying according to the worker there.

I always order the pad see eww fried tofu plate and always have enough for two meals. We usually get the hubby a combo dessert at the market next door and he devours it at home. There was a much wider selection, and the sale prices were surprisingly good. The biggest surprise? Pineapples were only $1 each when we visited (7/3/2026)! This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a grocery store…read more Before shopping, my family and I had lunch at the tonkatsu restaurant next door and bought some bread afterward. Inside the bread bag was a partially eaten container of seasoned seaweed that I had been eating. Before I even entered the market, the security guard at the entrance stopped me and, in a confrontational tone, asked, "What's this?" I showed him the container and explained that it was simply the seaweed I had been eating. I asked if there was a problem. He replied that the market sells the same product and that it could be misunderstood. I completely understand the need to prevent shoplifting, but instead of politely explaining the situation, he spoke to me in an accusatory manner from the very beginning and even criticized my tone of voice. I've shopped at many grocery stores, but I've never had a security guard confront me before I even entered the store. It completely ruined the shopping experience for my family. My children were surprised and upset by the security guard's rude behavior. They kept asking me what had happened and why he was talking to us that way, which made the whole experience even more disappointing. To avoid any further misunderstanding, I left the container of seaweed at the entrance before going into the store. This was an extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience.
