I firmly believe in buy local and buy from small business owners. Big biz is cheaper and efficient but you don't feed the local economy. Enough of that. Wanted to break in the new smoker so wanted some Dino Ribs ( Plate short ribs). I saw a picture of some on a grill attached to Prime Meat Market, so wifey and I decides to stop by. Here's the deal. Think of this a local store in South Korea. There will be a slight language issue if you don't speak Korean. I showed him the picture, he said no and I was about to leave. But damn if all the meats didn't look good. So I started pulling packages- seasoned short ribs, then pork belly. At that moment as best he could he asked if I was BBQ? Yes I said. He made a gesture that indicated that I needed thicker cuts for the pork belly. I nodded and said yes. He went in back and told somebody to prep a package of thicker cut. He then pointed to a picture of ribs and asked you want? Yes. Off he goes and came out with a package of two plate short ribs. Damn near a side of cow. He asked if I wanted one or two, I said one and off he goes to get one packaged up. The store is clean and caters to its clientele. I felt so damn good after I left this shop, because this is what being a good human is about. We may not speak the same tongue, but we sure as hell love meat and fire. Support this business, give them every shot to make a living and your tummy will thank you for it.

Boy 2013 must have been a bad year for me. Haha Customer service has improved....or maybe im just used to him now. Haha. Just take the meat and run. Dont forget the free sides!! Either way, their organic prime brisket is still sogood. Actually Im sure its gotten better. I have some ooold photos and they dont look as nicely marbled as the last couple of years. Before the fat was more chunky which isnt bad but my mom has a hard time eating them. Also they are the only ones that survived the past few years around here... So its my go-to place now. Honestly price has been ok esp compared to the nearby markets as well. Also theyre open on holidays so its super convenient.

the quality of chadol behind the first layer... REMEMBER TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MEAT #scam

Very disappointed at the owners of this small Korean-owned business. One word: #SCAM You would expect two servings of $46 PRIME-GRADE LABELED CHADOL (thinly-sliced fatty brisket) to be fresh, marbled, and with just the right amount of fat. As a business that has been serving the community with quality meat and service for quite some time now, they must have enough integrity to not fool their customers, right? Well. Unfortunately, this business is no longer what it USED to be. Our $46 purchase today only had prime-grade chadol on the TOP LAYER. About twelve pieces tasted amazing while EVERYTHING else was so dry... we had to pour a bunch of oil on what was supposed to be FATTY brisket. The photo attached explains why. That is exactly what the rest (aka the large majority) of our bag of meat looked like. Have you or have you not seen better chadol at AYCE KBBQ restaurants for $10-$15 per person? It's very upsetting that Prime Meat Market has succumbed to tricks such as this ON TOP of raising prices exponentially. I highly doubt that our family will be seeking business here again. I sincerely hope that the owners will reflect on this review and soon change their ways. This business will not survive otherwise. Please do not deceive us: the members of the community who have been loyal to your family business from the very beginning, folks who (despite this cold review) still want to give it a chance, and last but not least - old customers who, in a very long time, decide to give it another try because they recalled memories of being a happy kid who loved to follow her grandpa to PMM to pick up some of the best chadol in town.

Look at how much breadcrumbs there are!

But for $20, I can get a two-meat plate with high quality white meat chicken + beef + fried egg, and feel satiated until late afternoon (might be the peptides talking tho, who knows ;) ). I always call it in, and it's always ready on time. I always get the plate combo (beef + chicken breast), with kale and cabbage salad. Rice is included. I think their mac salad is good, but not worth the upcharge. I do suggest getting extra sauce on the side, as usually the one cup they give isn't enough based on the portion. I also love ordering ahead and just grab n go. This and Urban Grill are both solid options.

It was a bit on the high end but once you took a bite out of it you'd understand why! We decided to dine in and everything was clean and organized. There is comfy indoor seating for a group of 4 at each table. In addition to the cooked food menu, they offer premium butchered meat. We will definitely be back for some lunch along with a Wagyu Bundle to take home!

First thing that hit me walking in: a whole wall covered in signatures from Korean actors, singers, and idols. When Korean celebrities show up and leave their autograph, you know the food is the real deal. Definitely worth a photo. The star of our meal was the intestine combo (곱창콤보) -- their signature, and now I get the hype. Sizzling on the grill, crispy outside, soft and juicy inside, zero funky smell. My friend was hesitant about intestines at first and ended up fighting me for the last piece. We also got the raw beef soup (yukhoe/육회) -- cold, fresh, silky, a little sweet-and-sour, and the perfect refreshing contrast to the rich intestines. And the spicy stir-fried squid rice bowl was a sleeper hit: bouncy squid, bold spicy-savory sauce, and I scraped the bowl clean. Bonus: it's right next to Zion Market, so parking is easy, and they run the waitlist through Yelp so it moves fast even when it's busy. You don't have to order BBQ to eat well here -- the intestine combo, yukhoe, and spicy squid rice bowl alone made it one of my favorite Korean spots in Buena Park. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. One of our favorite purchases was a prime rib we pre-ordered for Christmas dinner. It was mouthwatering and perfectly seasoned, and it came beautifully wrapped and ready to go. All I had to do was pop it in the oven, which made hosting so much easier. Being able to pre-order prime rib and other cuts for holiday meals or dinner gatherings is such a huge convenience. Another one of our absolute favorites is their burgers. They are so delicious and beautifully mixed with a prime selection of meats -- you can truly taste the quality in every bite. They are always juicy, flavorful, and perfect for grilling. They also make deli sandwiches that are so good and full of flavor! Everything is made with care, and you can really tell they take pride in what they offer. On top of all that, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is always friendly, fast, and extremely helpful. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. I also like their frozen meatballs in their freezer, which adds some really nice savory flavors to my spaghetti and meatballs. It's hard to not pass up their delicious pork rinds (from 4505 or Southern Recipe) or Mutti marinaras. And if I don't feel like cooking, I can come for lunch in order to walk away with a sandwich that they can make for me. Overall, this is a small shop, that's thoughtfully stocked with some really high-quality ingredients for me to make a nice dinner at home!
