Today I wanted to celebrate the many amazing things happening in my life. SO what better way to do that then treating myself to some Drunken Noodles. I really was not sure what to expect with the varied reviews from 1 to 5 stars, however I went in with an open mind. I reviewed the menu carefully and ultimately decided to go with the Chicken Drunken Noodles and Tempura Veggies. The sauce was a bit sweet so I requested some peanut sauce for dipping the veggies. When I received the main course first I was kind of shocked not only because it came first but because of the portion size {smaller then norm}. But when I tasted them, I realized it wasn't about the size but the content. AMAZING. I absolutely enjoyed every bite. The owners were very pleasant and when asked were eager to share the different chili sauces they make in house for me to take home. Next trip I plan to try the Sushi. Not a big selection but better then none at all. read more

Unfortunately this is the only Thai restaurant in the area. If you have a hankering for great Thai I would drove out of county for it. The food just did not taste well at all. read more

Not only the worst Thai food I've ever had, but the worst restaurant I've ever walked out of. Ingredients were past their prime, their preperation faulty and the resulting food pretty much inedible. I will say the view was spectacular. Maybe someday someone will come in and create food to match the view. read more

So happy that we have a new Thai Restaurant in Clearlake! And not only that they are WONDERFUL! Food is great, Service is Great and Great view of docks and Clear Lake. Convent location- Lakeshore Drive (where Kathy's Inn used to be) And although I miss the rustic interior of Kathy's Inn- they had those great high/private booths- however the roomy seating arrangement and Oriental decor of Kour Thai is welcoming and comfortable- plus each table has a view of lake! Back to the food- I can't tell you about the entire menu; because I find myself ordering the Fresh Rolls w/peanut sauce and Tempura. They are so delirious- I could eat them 3 times a day! But I do see other temping dishes being served to my husband and other tables and the expressions of 'love at 1st bite' on faces assure me that when I do get my fill of the Fresh Rolls and Tempura I have many treats awaiting me. My husband shares my enthusiasm for the Fresh Rolls & Tempura but he adds a different entry each time we go. He says he can't remember his favorite and suggest we go back today so he can decide. Just may have to do that!. Kour Thai has just opened their Sushi Bar, although fans of the raw- we loved their California Sushi! We've only gone for lunch, but they have live music on some nights. I give Kour Thai 5 Stars because they truly deserve 5 Stars! Go- you won't be disappointed! read more

Were to start the food was to sweet, the veggies were uncooked, noodles soggy and over cooked the eggs were chewy and hard!!! The Tofu in all our dishes was dry and tasteless. Ive eaten Thai food all over California and I can say that Kour Thai was by far one of the worst..The decor is creepy. The place is a train wreck with awful FOOD!!! read more

This place is awesome. The chicken curry and chicken sizzling platter were fantastic. They were flavorful and decent serving size. The green papaya salad was in a generous proportion and it was delicious! It was not sweet, just perfect. The basil beef was ok. I'm sure if was good, but after tasting the chicken curry and sizzling platter, they were hard to match. Truthfully, I was shocked how good this place was. I've been to a lot of Thai places in the Bay Area and this is one of the best Thai restaurant I've been to. Too bad it's 150 miles away from where I live. read more

Oh how happy I was to find out they moved to Clearlake Highlands and didn't just close. The owners are so sweet, the food is delicious and plentiful with fresh vegies. I had someone with me from San Francisco and Manhatten who was so surprised by the taste of the food. He was delighted to find this treasure in Lake County. I drove all the way around the lake just to have their curry coconut soup. We enjoyed the lovely view of the other side of Konocti, boats coming in and ducks playing around. It is close to Redbud Marina, so you can also call ahead to get food to go then bring it back to your boat or have a picnic at the park or by the huge dock. read more

This is the worst Thai food I've every eaten. I lived in Bangkok Thailand for 2 years and this food wasn't from Thailand. It must have been from some other country. I ordered the Pad Thai, which is a signature dish from Thailand. What was served to me was some warm noodles with a vinegar sauce, a bit of rubbery chicken, some scrambled egg & a sliced green onion on top. I started with Chicken satay, rubbery chicken on a stick with bottled peanut sauce on the side. Don't waste your time or $ on this place. read more

When I was visiting Clearlake,I went there with my sister and nephew who live in the area. They love this Thai Restaurant. I ordered pumpkin curry with checken which was so delicious. We were lucky that late afternoon they had live music. We were serenaded by a very good singer, had delicious food and a great view of the lake. All was perfect. read more

This place is a real jewel -- ingredients were fresh, everything had a different wonderful flavor, the food was excellent -- the restaurant faces a beautiful part of Clear Lake and a park. There's also boat launching. And the service was great! First class food and service with a great view -- how can you lose? We eat here weekly. We have never ordered anything we weren't happy with. The curry soups are my fave. We've been to other sushi restaurants out of the county and continuously compare it to Kour Thai. Food is served promptly, which is a big deal to me because I am usually on my lunch break. read more

went only once but it was enough. Very attentive staff, Pad Thai was pretty bad but I think it's because the cook is from a different region of Thailand and used different spices. Actually the prices were a bit high for the type of food and location. That's probably enough to keep me away although Clearlake has such few choices that's it's hard to find another place I would not go to. read more

Sooo yummy! I crave their Tom Kha Gai soup. I live in L.A. and can't find any Tom Kha Gai that tastes as good..it's also better than my old Thai places in Sacramento. I found the Pad Thai average, but there is a nice view of the lake. There are not many dining options in town so I returned to try something else. Someone who was not accomplished singing or playing guitar was doing so loud enough to give me a headache, so I left without even ordering takeout. This might be why the place was empty. read more

My favorite restaurant and I am picky. Been going here for over three years, never had a bad meal. Order Green Chicken Curry and Peanut Chicken (not what's its called but they'll know what you mean), amazing. Owners and staff are really nice and go out of there way to make you feel at home. I go there at least once a week, would go more if it was closer to my house. Had Thai food at other restaurants and it doesn't come close to the goodness at this place. Love this place! read more
