Best sushi I have had in a long time! And the pho was absolutely delicious. You can definitely tell they use good quality ingredients

Every time we're in town, we've loved coming to this restaurant, one of our favorites! But sadly, this will be our last visit. Since we were here, they've moved into town and changed their menu. I completely understand the need to raise prices... but it was ridiculous for what we ordered. Kung pao pork and Mu shu pork. The entrees don't come with rice! Seriously? The cheapest thing to add...nope. You pay extra. I'm so bummed. They used to have combos and tasty and reasonably priced food. Sadness. Here's a picture of my $34 lunch. 2 entrees and a $5 cup of hot and sour soup. The food was good. I was just so looking forward to this stop and it didn't deliver.

Wow! Stopped by while driving thru the area on our way home from a camping trip and I am so grateful for the whole experience! The service was remarkable or may I say immaculate as was the presentation of each menu item we ordered :) Staff was very helpful in recommending menu items for us to order and what would pair best with what we were choosing. They offer many specials as well as a wide assortment of menu items, which is why I wish I lived locally so I could try them all haha xD Really made us feel welcome with great customer service and care. The servers were very attentive, but not overly so it is. The musical choice was on point as well and really helped to add to the ambiance. Highly recommend the Mongolian beef with rice (So good!) great when paired with hot jasmine tea. Also loved loved loved the fresh rolls and chef's special. Thank you so much

Holy wow. This place was a pleasant surprise! The ambience is really nice, cool music and very clean. The service here was great. They were quick and you can tell everything here is great quality/made in house. We ordered a few hand rolls, cut rolls, the wonton soup, crab rangoons and ended it all with some nigiri. We loved everything. Definitely will be coming here on a regular basis. Also, you cannot beat their prices.

I came in for an earlier ramen lunch and ended up wanting to get all their appetizers. There's a variety of apps but I wasn't too hungry so I ordered mini sesame balls for the table ( 3 for $1!!!) and octopus ball/sesame balls to go. At the end, I also got the homemade sauce just to try bc it was packed in a glass mason jar and relatively affordable. For food, I got tonkotsu ramen and the broth was good. I think it was missing the condiments and some umami flavoring. I'm not sure. It was 3.5 imo. The sesame balls were good and so was the octopus ball. The salmon looked plentiful and came with lots of sides but I'm not sure how it tasted bc I didn't order. All the dishes were cleared out though so I'd say it was a successful lunch trip. They have a long fish display in the front and plenty of seating too! Reminds me to go back to Japan soooon.

Because of the large crowd, this place is really organized and the service is quick and friendly. We actually already had dinner before heading to this area, but my teenage nephew was still hungry so he got some food here, haha. I was mainly there just to grab a drink along with the family. We ordered some platha and dip, as well as some nan gyi dok - or some udon noodles with coconut curry chicken. I got a small bite of the food and it was tasty. I personally ordered the Los Warriors drink and it came out with the Golden State Warrior colors. So fun! It was tasty as well. If you want a lively fun spot with good food and beverages before heading over to a game or after (or events) at the Chase Center, this place is a great option.

It was terribly crowded since there was an event here, and the place was absolutely swamped with concert goers and hungry goths. It's located in the Warriors Promenade just next to the Chase Center. Reservations are an absolute must if you're trying to eat here with an event going on! Thousands of people milling about looking for food, and your choices on a Sunday night are fairly limited. We were seated quickly despite the madness and got a cozy booth away from all of the foot traffic & chaos. 5-stars for the staff here for really hustling to accommodate & serve the absolute crush of people. They were very nice, attentive, professional, and pleasant despite the chaos. The inside is very nice & clean, with minimal decor and a big, bright atmosphere. The bar was an absolute tower and the tables (there aren't many), are well laid out and spaced apart. Another downside for this small restaurant is only having two bathrooms, which creates lines 10-12 people long, but the bathrooms are big, clean, and spacious. Outside is a patio, but then again, who would want to sit amongst the throngs of people waiting to go into Chase Center? Crazy crowded, busy, and chaotic. But, the ample & efficient staff really hold things down here, impressive service. We had a couple of cocktails including an old fashioned & some Golden State ciders. Prices were a bit higher than expected, but I guess a night out in San Francisco is always going to expensive. We order the salt & pepper tofu appetizer and the Samusa soup, since we wanted to stay light and nimble for the upcoming 3 hours of concert going. The drinks were good, but I did not enjoy the food. It was overly spicy, and the slickness definitely dominated the flavors and made it difficult to finish anything. The soup wasn't very hot (temperature-wise) but definitely too hot (spiciness-level). Mind you, I love spicy food, and very spicy levels, but this was so much so, thst you couldn't taste anything else except the red chili peppers . The salt & pepper tofu was pretty good, with ample portions for it being a $20 appetizer. The dipping sauce was flavorful, but don't reach too far under the dish, because you'll get another wallop of red peppers and over-bearing spices. We did finish the appetizer, but only about half of the soup. Pretty disappointed, and we did leave there still hungry after a $100 bill for only two cocktails and two smaller food dishes. +1 for the amazing service. Our waitress absolutely delivered everything quickly & efficiently, despite the swell of old NIN goths defending upon the restaurant all at the same time. Everyone was running around, yet controlled and attentive. They are very well-trained & composed, and I'm sure they experience this same situation every time there is a concert, event, or sports game at Chase Center. +1 for the drinks and +1 for the nice atmosphere and clean environment. The food was disappointing, as well as the long wait to use the bathrooms. I probably wouldn't go back here again, especially on a game or concert night, and if I did, I'd probably only stick to drinks & appetizers. The overly spicy food is the downside for me, I just could not taste anything besides red chili peppers. Maybe just stick to noodles or rice dishes or salad next time. Definitely come here for the drinks though!

I see this spot all the time, everytime I'm in Downtown Napa. I've been meaning to do this a long time. And today is the day, I check-it-out. I'm here at Morimoto's other, and second location right in Napa this Friday evening. This is my 3rd time being at this Chef's establishment. This completes the circle of life. I didn't expect it to look like this in here, it's slightly Upscale, spacious, I really like the High ceilings, Architecture, Design, and it's modern, clean, and fresh. Today, I'm going to Duck it out. I went with the fresh Duck Ramen ラーメン, but I also had to get it with the Duck Tacos this time, that's another double whammy. Everything is made out of Duck. And it changes seasonally, but this Ramen happen to be off the Menu, they made this for me today, Limited time or Run. The Broth was out of this world, deep, savory, packed with flavor, and the Noodles were cooked just right. And Wow, the Tacos were phenomenal, what an awesome take, this was one of the best Tacos I ever had so far, believe it or not. I gotta give them some points, for orginality. And I can't forget about, their own crafted tea in Japan, that's very interesting, how it's crafted in Japan. It was spectacular, cool place to hangout, and I liked the atmosphere, it was very pleasant. I give this 4.6/4.7 out of 5 stars. That's a high score. I'm satisfied.

The cocktails were a standout, particularly the lychee cocktail. Light, refreshing, and well balanced, it was the perfect drink to enjoy while taking in the riverfront setting. For appetizers, the spicy chicken wontons and karaage chicken were both excellent. The wontons had a great balance of flavor and heat, while the karaage was crispy, flavorful, and well executed. These dishes were among our favorites of the meal. Unfortunately, the hand roll sushi was the biggest disappointment of the meal. It was not cut, making it difficult to share, and overall felt fairly mediocre. Nothing about the flavors, texture, or presentation particularly stood out. The beef and broccoli was a mixed experience. The sauce was delicious and packed with flavor, but the beef itself was tough and cut into larger chunks than expected, which made the dish feel somewhat underwhelming overall. While not every dish was a home run, the beautiful riverside location, refreshing cocktails, and strong appetizer selection made for a very enjoyable visit. I would recommend Morimoto Napa for drinks, appetizers, and a relaxing view of the river. The spicy chicken wontons, karaage chicken, and lychee cocktail were the highlights of our experience and are what I would order again.

They had already ordered and eaten, and I simply wanted to join them at their table. Instead, the staff refused to allow me to sit with my own group and made me sit at a separate table next to them. What made this especially frustrating was that the patio was nearly empty. Multiple tables surrounding us were completely vacant for the entire time I was there. There was no crowd, no shortage of space, and no reasonable explanation for why I couldn't sit with my friends. The staff chose to enforce a rule--or make a decision--that served no purpose other than creating an awkward and unpleasant experience. Restaurants are supposed to be in the hospitality business. Separating a guest from their own party when there is abundant empty seating all around is the exact opposite of hospitality. The complete lack of common sense and flexibility was astonishing. I've never encountered a restaurant that would rather leave tables empty than allow someone to sit with their own group. It was a needlessly rude and frustrating experience that left a far worse impression than anything related to the food. As a local resident, I've dined at plenty of restaurants in the area and have never encountered anything this rigid or inhospitable.

The garlic noodles were also done really well with the right noodles and great flavor -- honestly better than some places known specifically for garlic noodles. All their table wear was so beautiful. We got a fruity sake first and loved that one. The second one was the "goku" it was giving straight sake. I'd prolly stick to fruitier ones. The server was very kind and she was easy to talk to and provided great service. As for the food, I thought it was pretty okay! We ordered the omakase which was $75 per person and it was very filling. We had trout sashimi which had some bite texturally not my fave fish tbh. Potato Salad which a jammy egg omg I loved it but wondered how it'd taste if the egg was marinated. The mushroom soup was lemony and oniony it was pretty good. The karage could've been crispier imo and I wish the wasabi aoli was a lil different but it was still good. The robata was hella good my fave was the meatball one, I'm not a big fan of cartilage but that it very well cooked, and I appreciated the pile seasoning provided as well. The strawberry topped panna cotta was so good no notes. Overall, pretty good and I'd go again if I was in this area and order individual dishes especially the potato salad and panna cotta.
