Stopped in for my first time, after seeing other good reviews here. Had a great experience from the moment I walked in. I was greeted by the owner and got immediate service! I had the Greek pizza which was light, easy to eat and made with fresh ingredients. I will be back very soon!

Great place to eat. We stop in often to either eat in or take home. The food is great, the service is always good. We are always greeted with a smile and promptly taken care of. The food is superb. I couldn't ask for better. We have not found an item that wasn't prepared just right and tasted amazing. We love this place. Such a nice family restaurant. The owners speak to every customer and ensure that everything is to your liking. A meal here is a memory made. read more

This place is amazing with an amazing staff perfect food and great atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a low key friendly place to thoroughly enjoy your meal. The owner is usual the waitress as well. She is sweet and very attentive. The eggs Benedict is my favorite dish for good reason. The pizza is delicious. Been here for dinner and breakfast. Pizza is amazing. The crust is soft and yummy. The breakfast burrito was perfectly made with goey cheese. Overall a great diner experience. Also, the owner is super sweet. read more

Love this place! Pizza is perfect. Breakfast all day ~ anything you want! Sub sandwiches, pasta, hot grilled stuff. Nice comfortable place with the friendliest and happiest people here. Don't drive by looking for a huge glamorous building, you don't need that for the best food offered in this area. Prices are pretty comfortable as well! read more

I go there a lot and the food just gets better and better the sandwiches are mouth watering it's healthy all natural made and it's affordable not too expensive. The employees are super nice too. Great food. All homemade no canned crap. Great prices and wonderfully friendly staff. The interior could use a redo but it was a clean and friendly atmosphere. Fed a family of five for under 25$ with the kids all happy and the 14 year old boy actually full. Please support this business i need it to stay open. read more

My first visit... and it was a pleasure. Clean and surprisingly spacious. Well organized = and Kozeta is a lovely, sweet gentle woman who really cares that her customers enjoy their meal and experience. WE DID.... unfortunately you can't please everyone... especially the extremely loud and rude man who seemed to think he was Gordon Ramsey - Kozeta was upset by his uncalled for lecture on "how to run a business" = and I jumped in when the clown started threatening that he would report her on Yelp.... I could not resist - his plate was clean and he had no other reason for his uncalled for disruptive behavior than to wrangle a free meal.. so I told him that he was a bully - and he said it was not my business... OH, NO = when you make a scene in public it is everybody's business. "you don't know who you are talking to," says he... " yes, I do... to a jerk" I replied. Kozeta is sweet - the food is good, Greek fare... and worth the visit... read more

Yum! Great pizza, pasta, and more. The food is made from scratch. Pizza crust is crisp and light but not too thin. Very fresh. Inexpensive. We fed four very well for less than $25. Will come back to try the all day breakfast. read more

Clean but old inside but amazing and affordable Italian food! Their pizza is homemade - homemade crust, homemade sauce. Koseta herself served us and was incredibly accommodating to my dairy allergy. The pizza is very delicious and the prices are very reasonable. read more

Based on one lunch and two dinner visits to Kozeta's to get a variety of food for three people, I was very satisfied. The premises are unpretentious, but neat and clean. In love. Awesome chicken gyros, really tender meat and amazing flavor. SO got blueberry pancakes, ample amount of blueberries, soft and fluffy, and crunchy outside!! It was so good that we got another gyro (lamb) and a small cheese pizza to go. They're really famous for their pizza so we had to take it. If you ever come to Maine I recommend stopping by if you're craving home made food, awesome music, and the friendliest staff. read more

Meaning, sometimes the sandwich has enough filling, and sometimes it does not. Sometimes the food is hot, and sometimes it's not. It feels like the service at Roots goes in the same way. Some people working the counter at Roots are super helpful and friendly, and others are not. The price point here is also high. I understand that prepared food is expensive all over the place, but Roots feels like that, plus extra. There is plenty of nice indoor and outdoor seating.

The waitress commented that the kitchen was busy, but my suspicion is that the kitchen had a mistake on the order. Not the end of the world or a low blow - it just did not wow me especially when you're spending over $200 without alcohol. The fried calamari was good, but there was no complementing sauce for dipping or typical condiments with it. My son ordered chicken Florentine in a white sauce that was very good. My wife had scallops which were very good and my mother-in-law shrimp scampi. Cannolis were for dessert. Busy, service was great and I would definitely go back but try something else. I would go back.

They rearranged the configuration to make space for more tables, and an easier to access bathroom. They also streamlined the menu. They no longer have the wall of coolers with alcoholic beverages (like canned cocktails, beer, and wine). They do have one cooler with a variety of soft drinks. They do still sell some bottled and canned alcoholic beverages, but a very limited variety. They also no longer have the shelves of packaged food for sale. They now have one tiny shelf with a limited variety of dry ramen. The new layout makes it feel much more like a take out sub shop style venue. I tried the pho, which was my first time...I usually get a banh mi...and they had an unusual option...Pho with ramen noddles instead of the traditional rice noodles. It was delicious! The broth was flavorful, the meat, herbs and bean sprouts were fresh, and the ramen noodles were great in Pho! It was also my first time eating in, and it was actually pretty nice...I was the first one seated at a table, but by the time I finished there were 3 other parties seated at tables, or the high stools along the window counter. Good lunch spot.

If you're in the area, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step in, you're greeted by the warm and friendly owners who truly make you feel at home. Their homemade food is a standout, and it's clear they pour their heart and soul into each dish. The marinara sauce is exceptional--perfectly seasoned and rich with flavor. We had the pleasure of trying their homemade spaghetti and meatballs for the first time, and it was an unforgettable experience. The meatballs were juicy and tender, paired perfectly with their delicious pasta. Most recently, we tried the meat lovers pizza, and it was nothing short of incredible. The crust was crispy and golden, and the toppings were generous and fresh. We couldn't resist adding their cheesy garlic bread to the meal, which was just the right amount of gooey and savory. For dessert, we indulged in their baklava, and it was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Crispy, flaky, and filled with the right amount of sweetness, it was absolutely delicious. I decided to stop by because I've driven past it so many times since it opened. The owners are very friendly which is a plus in my book. I ordered a calzone with onions and peppers and for my wife I ordered spanakopita and a half sized greek salad for takeout. Both were fantastic. I loved how flaky the spanakopita was and even how the calzone was also a light dough. The calzone was also not greasy at all. Ive had others where I had to basically drain the grease into the sink before I eat it. Even when I went to drive away the owner waved from the kitchen. Needless to say I went back two days later and ordered a greek pizza and split that with my wife. Again, wonderful. I really hope this place kicks off because I'd hate to see it not stick around. There isn't too many good greek places like this one. Don't do what I had been doing for months... just driving by and looking. Two thumbs up! read more

The entire Beal family gives Kozeta's five stars. Exceptionally good food at exceptionally reasonable prices. We are regular customers and have tried all pizza choices, pasta dishes and especially enjoy the Greek and Chef salads with our meals. We appreciate that the dishes are made with love and served with pride. The owners are particular about keeping a clean establishment. It is not a fast food restaurant so be prepared to have meals made from scratch with fresh ingredients. That sometimes takes time but any wait is well worth it. We enjoy bringing friends and clients here. No one is ever disappointed! I've read a couple of reviews that are something less than positive.....I don't know where they might have eaten but it wasn't Kozeta's. It's not that I don't enjoy cooking but Kozeta does it so much more tastefully! read more

Do not order a sandwich there you'll get one piece of meat and one piece of cheese on each side of the bread are sandwiches safe footlong there 9 in you water a large 16-inch pizza the box is only 14 in in the pizza inside of it is 3 in diameter less than the box it's a 12 inch pizza the guy is a scumbag an absolutely rips people off you better off going to the deli at the grocery store and buying your own lunch meat and making a sandwich for the price they charge you for a sandwich you would think with local customers they treat him right they take advantage of the senior citizens that spend their money there and screw everybody else read more

Pizza's I've had from Kozeta's are close to the best I've ever eaten. The House Special (loaded) Is the best. The owner/chef is nice, hard working and on time with the orders. The outside, needs work, inside gets better every visit. With the decline in quality from Corsetta's Down the streets food quality, this is now my go to place for authentic Greek food. read more

Absolutely the best pizza you have ever eaten! Everybody who tries it says the same thing. The crust is the best I have had in my life and the calzones, gyros, spanakopita are all mouth watering. I am going to try everything at least once and the menu is huge! It's going to take a while! I am up to the challenge !! read more

This is a restaurant that is worth going out of your way to get a great meal. The food is fantastic. The pizza is some of the best around. The owners are hard working and it is apparent they love what they do. Forget the chain restaurants and go to Kozeta's. read more

I have had breakfast here and taken out several of their pizzas. The food is home-made and very good. I can say that I have never had a better pizza! The breakfast sausage alone is worth going there. Home-made Bakalava for the win! :) read more
