The food here is really really good! Its all made from scratch and Kozeta's is a family owned business (the best kind). I moved to Westbrook from Portland not long ago and soon realized most of the pizza found in Westbrook is terrible. So glad I found Kozeta's (on yelp) because it has become my go-to for take out. I have also dined-in twice but wasn't impressed with the atmosphere or service. It is extremely blue-collar without being trendy or hipster if that makes sense. The booths, tables, bar and floors have seen better days. The highest quality bottled beer you are going to get is a Corona. There are TVs in the back playing sports. The waitress we had was very overwhelmed with just a few tables and was not very polite. She was obviously very inexperienced. The owner, however, is extremely polite and really cares about her business. My favorites are the greek pizza and the egglplant parm sub. Prices are VERY reasonable and the food is high-quality. By far one of the best places I've eaten at since moving from NYC to Maine. I got a house special 10" pizza that was so fresh and delicious. It had all veggies and meat on it with extra cheese but despite all those toppings it was not greasy or heavy. The crust melts in your mouth under the delectable sauce and nice and chewy at the edges. My mother in law and my daughter shared the whole nine yards consisting of every favorite breakfast item, the eggs were fluffy and flavorful, frenchtoast was cooked perfectly along with crispy melt in your mouth potatoes.everything was just phenomenal. My husband and I popped in for brunch today, and only chose it due to its proximity to where we live, and a want to try some place different. I had the veggie home fries, and added two eggs on top. It was hot, and flavorful. I omitted the tomatoes because they come sliced, and I feared they would make things soggy. My husband had the Whole Nine (I may have gotten the specific title wrong). It was two eggs, your choice of two meats, home fries, your choice of pancakes or French Toast, AND a choice of breads. The sausage was ok, and the home fries were a little under seasoned, but overall, it was satisfying. The bill was a little over $20 for the two of us, including the drinks, so definitely reasonable. It's a little cold in there, and the service was a little slow (not too bad), but very friendly. read more

We only had time for a quick dinner so decided to go with pizza. We had a large Greek pizza which had spinach, feta, tomatoes etc. Normally prefer a thinner crust, but this was well baked, crispy, and light. Overall very tasty. Prices comparable to most other places. Kozeta is a very gracious hostess and very proud of their food and prep from scratch. It's not much to look at from the outside. Definitely a hidden gem! The instant you walk in the door you are greeted warmly and you can tell that the owners have a passion for what they're doing. We felt at ease the minute we walked in. We had the Greek pizza and the meat pizza and both were very good. The pizza was very light and not greasy. Not your typical take out/ eat in Greek pizza joint. It doesn't look like much from the outside...but the inside is where you discover the diamond in the rough!! From the moment you walk in the door you're welcomed by a very sweet Greek lady that makes you feel right at home. The service is worth at least 100 stars! So my girlfriend and I sat down and looked over the great menu and decided to start with the spanakopita....deeeeeelicious and made in house! The house made marinara was a perfect match. Very generous portions. Four come in an order where two would of been plenty. I'm 260lbs and my girlfriend is preggo...so when I say the portions are very generous they are in fact very generous!! After the app we decided on a chicken spinach Alfredo pizza....OMGEEEEE good!! Perfect lightly dense/ Airy Greek style crust...delish marinated chicken...fresh spinach and house made Alfredo made for the perfect pizza! I ordered scrambled eggs and they came out way over cooked. They were literally Brown and had that nasty film on them from scraping the fry pan. That's not what I'm upset about. After the server told the chef, the chef came out and argued with me that they werent burnt and told me to order my my eggs lite next time. My second visit to Kozeta's proved what I thought might be the case! Extremely fresh ingredients are used in the Lamb Gyro! The flavors were authentic and delicious. One word...unexpected! My parents and my wife stopped in after looking at some homes. Not much luck and were quiet depressed about it. My parents recommended we stop at Kozetas. They had been twice and the woman actually remembered them! Now, don't be turned off by its looks. Let the food do the talking. I ordered the chicken alfrado pizza, my wife got the chicken alfrado pasta, my mother got Hawaiian pizza, and dad the chicken parm sandwich. Also got an order of onion rings. Delicious all around. And the prices are amazing! This meal totaled about 40 bucks. I will be back. There is a lot to choose from on their menu. Can't wait to try it all! My sister and I came in a little late. They close at 9 and we came around 8 so the place was empty. We saw that this place was close to our house and had five stars (plus we were craving pizza) so we decided to check it out. Not only was the owner so friendly and welcoming the five stars were not a lie! The menu has so many different options of breakfast, pizza, pastas, subs, salads and they were all very affordable. The food came quick and smelled-- I kid you not, like heaven! We came for the pizza and it definitely delivered.
