The star of the show was the garlic fried string beans. We needed a vegetable and the chef recommend this dish. They were delicious with lots of "wok Hei" cooked just enough with a great crunch. We also ordered my standby favorite West Lake soup with its silky strands of egg white and bits of shredded Beef. We also were craving noodles so we ordered the chicken lo mein which was flavorful and a generous portion. This has lots of old fashioned Cantonese dishes too. This restaurant is located in a strip mall in the same shopping center as Great Wall. Nothing great with the decor but food is outstanding. Family run.

Went to KP Asian Cafe to check out their new ready to serve Chinese lunch/dinner box entrees. Indeed many not commonly seen ready to serve items. Glad to see these were more on the authentic side. 11 entrees to choose from, heard they will add 2 or 3 more in the coming days. Certainly good options from items from their regular menu. For the first week, 2 entrees with fried rice or lomien is $10.95 and would be $12.95 afterward. Also took a picture of their regular menu for anyone interested. KP Asian Cafe is right by the Great Wall Supermarket in Aurora.

I wouldn't really recommend coming here. It's dead silent inside which makes it really awkward sitting there. Service was also alright since there was 1 person taking the order, cooking, and providing the receipt while the other was sleeping in the corner. This is my second time giving this place a try. The first time I was really craving a specific dish that I saw they had on their menu when I looked them up online so I decided to try this place out. When I arrived, I was the only customer and it still took a minute to be seen and seated since the workers were in the back. I ordered the dish I wanted the first time I came here and they told me they didn't have it which is weird since it's on their menu but I brushed it off as maybe they didn't have the ingredients for it that day or something. My second time coming here today, I sat myself down since there was nobody at the counter. I was there probably for 10 min or so while the cook was cooking the dish for the other customer in the restaurant. I didn't realize until the cook said something but there was a worker sleeping in the corner of the restaurant with his shoes off and feet on the chair. I ordered their lunch special: Szechuan beef Moo goo gai pan (to go) The cook had to ask the other worker who was sleeping to get up and cook the dishes since she didn't know how. She then asked how to make both dishes and that worried me. I sat down to eat inside for my Szechuan beef dish but the moment it was placed before me I knew it was not going to taste spicy at all since I did not see a lick of pepper at all. I also had to ask for the complimentary soup that came with the lunch special. I think that was my favorite part of the entire meal, the soup. It came out nice and warm, there was corn, tofu, and egg inside the soup. I put a bit of rice in my soup for that nice texture. I've been doing it since I was a kid so it's become a habit now but I would recommend you do that if you happen to have soup and rice. For my to go order of moo goo gai pan, I was severely disappointed when I got home to see it was some type of beef and onion dish. I was really looking forward to my dinner but turns out I won't be having any vegetables besides onion which is one of my least favorite cooked vegetables to eat.

My husband and I ordered UberEats from KP Asian Cafe last night and it was such a treat! Despite being about 4 miles away from us, our food was still steaming hot. We were very impressed by that. The wontons were massive and perfectly crunchy. The sesame shrimp was large pieces of fresh shrimp. It had a touch of spiciness but nothing too crazy. They also used real sesame oil for flavor, making it super tasty! The sweet and sour pork was delicious with big chunks of breaded pork, pineapple, and a little onion. Everything was tossed in the sweet and sour sauce. If you're looking to support a local business by ordering fantastic takeout, this is your place!

Stewed beef brisket with pho noodles, the taste of the brisket was very authentic.

I walked into KP at around 11:30am on a Sunday and the place was deserted. My first impression was the dinning area was a little messy. The owner brought a glass of ice water and it tasted like the ice maker needed a major cleaning. The ice maker was also constantly making loud noise that was annoying. KP has two types of menu, American Chinese food and authentic Chinese food. I ordered the stewed beef brisket with rice noodle soup. The owner told me they used the Vietnamese pho noodle not the flat Chinese rice noodle. The stewed beef brisket was very authentic, a hint of the star anise and clove. The chili oil on the table was spicy hot. Overall, the taste was good, the use of pho noodle was not ideal, but still worth going back for another visit.

Came in for lunch on a Saturday while it was snowing. Got greeted right away, ordered wontons, soup and 2 entrees. Food was 10/10 amazing! For the amount of food you get the price is well worth it! We can't wait to come back!

I thought the food was awful. Ambiance non existent. Greasy. Dried out chicken. Couldn't even eat it. Don't go.

I am so glad that they are so consistent and have not changed recipes or adjusted seasonings. Ordered our two favorites - pickled pepper beef and mapo tofu. Then the string beans and a new dish - sauerkraut fish filet. The sauerkraut fish filet reminded me of the Vietnamese catfish soup but no sweetness added. Very good dish and will def order again. Also love that they have quality rice here.

Decided to come here because I was craving Chinese food and heard good things about this place…read more Figured I'd give it a try. We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

HUGE HUGE SELECTION! Im not excactly sure which cuisine it is at first, I believe Taiwanese? Ive picked up some dishes were vietnamese too, like they had Bo Ne, but we didnt end up ordering it, we definetely will have to next time!! Place wasnt too busy and we were greated right away and seated. Everything was clean and organized, we were given I believed iced jasmine or black tea instead of water which was new but in a good way! It was a delicious drink! Will take a picture of the mnu next time, but everything is explained well and the me u is easy to read as well. You can easily chiose your soice level as well as any allergies you might have. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu and made sure to ask us how we prefered everything and made good recommendations.Service was quick and friendly and we were checked in regularly! We ordered: "Popcorn Chicken" 3/5 NOT a huge fan of popcorn chicken at all as I always find it dry and wasnt my choice of order but I was suprised! Its a lot more moist and fresh than I thought and the sauce that came with it really complimented the dish! HUGE PORTION TOO!!! Will definetely order next time as well! "Lemongrass Beef Sizzling Ribs" 5/5 This was my most favorite dish, it came in pipping hot and sizzling on a hot skillet! Our server did table service and mixed it for us nicely to enjoy, kind if reminds me of Gyukakus beef rib rice dish as well! The meat is nice and tender, marinated and grilled to perfection. The fried rice mixed with the cheese and onions were perfect combinated with the meat. Its insanely delicious and if you havent ordered it, youre respectfully insane. "Tonkatsu" 4.5/5 There are so many options to their hotpots but we decided to stay basic, we will definetely try the other broths next time! The broth was insanely delicious! Each hotpots come with plenty proteins/veggies. Ours came with lettuce, different tofus, sliced beef, ?fish cake?, immation crab, clams, and more. We have also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Strawberry Creme at the end which tasted so fresh and delicious. It definetely wasnt too sweet, it was just perfect. Im glad we saved room for the drinks hehe. Price was fair for all the food we ordered, everything had good portions and we could even share one main dish perfectly. Tasty Pot offers hearth, fresh, and insanely delicious food with great service! Do not be alarmed if you are not too familiar with cuisine as the staff will help you out and make good recommendations! Will definetely be coming back regularly!

However, the food was delicious. Everything was super flavorful. Portions are pretty good as well. My go to order at every HK Canto style restaurant is the beef chowfun. If it's good, I'll come back. And the beef chow fun was some of the best that I have had in CO. I don't know. There was something about it where it had enough sauce cooked in the noodles but also a good quantity of meat as well. It wasn't overpowered by onions like a lot of places do. For desserts, I tried the ube tiramisu and the pandan coconut cake. Both were very tasty and they're not too sweet which is code for Asian approval on sweets. Service is friendly and food comes quick.
