I provided my credit card number based on that agreement and waited for updates. By 8 PM, I had received no call. Upon contacting my tenant, I learned that the plumber had visited, did minimal work, stayed for less than an hour, and left. I immediately checked my credit card and found an unauthorized charge of $495. The next morning, I called your number but received no answer. When I reached the plumber directly, he admitted he was going to call me but chose not to because it was "too late." He claimed the $495 was a "inspection fee" and that an additional $450 would be needed to complete the repair. We had a brief dispute, and I informed him I would pursue this matter through formal channels. I have since disputed the unauthorized charge with my credit card company and am awaiting resolution. Meanwhile, your continued efforts to contact the property owner through third parties to seek payment are inappropriate and unacceptable. I hereby put you on formal notice of the following: Your advertising and initial representations were deceptive and constitute fraud; You intentionally avoided contacting the cardholder at the time of visit under the pretense of it being too late; You charged a significantly higher amount without authorization; No actual repair was performed since the water was still leaking. and I have written statements, messages, and screenshots from multiple tenants to confirm this. That's where the positives ended. He relit the pilot light and THEN told me it was $250 just to relight the pilot light -- something most plumbers include in the basic fee. After paying that ridiculous charge, my water still never got hot. He didn't check, wait to see - - just said he relit it. He did make sure he had a sales pitch though. Without fully diagnosing the problem, he jumped straight to recommending a $875 burner assembly or a $5,250 replacement water heater, (complete with estimates) claiming mine was 11 years old, but my house is only 9 years old. Either the math was off, or they were hoping I wouldn't question it. I paid $250 for nothing -- no fix, no follow-up, just out the window, whoever recommended them should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely a bait-and-switch. If you're looking for real solutions and honest pricing, I strongly suggest calling someone else.

Keep in mind, this is the day before Christmas Eve...about an hour later, Shawn showed up and saved the day. To make it easier for him, I cut into the wall and removed the badly welded part, and he put a cap on the pipe for me until I could figure out my next steps. Seriously - thank you so much. I made it very clear that the technician bring a drop cloth to place over my hardwood flooring, towels to wipe up water, and a bucket/pan to place underneath the sink to catch any water. This should be standard of any plumber that shows up to any home. No customer should have to tell a plumbing company this. None of these items were brought by the technician, Jeff. Instead, Jeff just showed up with a very dirty and rusted snake in a contractor bag, the smallest of rags, and no pan/bucket. Jeff dragged the dirty snake all over the hardwood flooring, ended up using my tenant's towels and pan - and he was slower than molasses in doing the job...he kept taking breaks while on the job. My tenant actually took the pan of water to the bathroom to empty in the toilet. Jeff failed to connect all of the snake together the first time - so he had to snake it a second time and add more links to the snake. Horrible experience. Just horrible. I will never again be using or recommending this company. I feel I was ripped off when it came to the amount charged as well. The high ratings shown do not reflect my experience at all. I don't like to give negative reviews - but I feel this one is definitely needed.
