Good food but very pricey, the customer service was great and we had a good time overall

Great service and server great her name was mariana was excellent. This is third time I visited and it's always five stars.

I came here on Sunday for the first time with my boyfriend and The KBBQ was super good. The customer service was awesome. They sat us quickly. I did however, get food poisoning from the oysters. They don't come out on ice or chilled. They were served at room temp. So please make sure to make note of that. As I type this I'm actively going through it. I will be back because the meat selection and customer service made it enjoyable. read more

I like Kpot food and atmosphere, but there is few things I dislike about this restaurant. 1. The pot is not inside the stove 2. The restrooms are not that clean When the server refills the hot broth I got burnt. I don't understand why they can't put the pot inside . read more

We showed up at 9:10 PM and they turned us away and said that if we had shown up at 9:04pm we would have been able to eat. They close at 10 PM. We had friends in town from Alabama and we drove 50 minutes just to come and eat here. And they refused to allow us to eat. Extremely disappointed. read more

It is about time this place opened. My wife and I used to go here all the time in Chicago and were super excited to see one opening up in the valley. This is the best hot pot and Korean BBQ experience you can get in the valley. When going I suggest doing both to get the full experience. All the meat is very good. The broths for the hot pots are very flavorful. You can't go wrong with trying something new every time you go. The staff is nice and friendly. It's an around great family experience. read more

My daughter and I had our first experience at kpot and we were not disappointed. We went for lunch 2 days ago. Our waiter explained the process and we got to ordering and making our sauces. Everything was delicious, the kimchi, gyoza, pork belly, bulgogi, calamari, and garlic shrimp. We were checked on periodically, definitely a plus. We can't wait to go back. read more

I've been here twice with my family, first time was amazing and second time was alright. We had Jake, I think thats what his name is, he's a younger Caucasian male; he remembered us when we came the first time but he was food runner that time instead of serving. When he was serving us, I cannot appreciate this guy enough. He was so attentive, so kind, so friendly that made our first time so memorable and amazing; even though it was crazy busy. He really knows customer service. It just made eating the food so much better. He was 100000000/10 Second time with had Ranae, she was nice and I think maybe burnt out because we did come 2 hours before closing. But we waited awhile before she got to us. She didn't really come by as often, kinda felt like she prioritize the larger table instead. But she was nice to put a large order in to the kitchen for us before the kitchen closes. Overall I didn't really enjoy the experience as much as the first time. I would say 5/10. The restaurant is very cool, the sauce and snack bar in the front is set up nicely. I love this concept that they had fused together essentially. They have tons of broth to choose from for hot pot along with so many options for grilling and hot pot as well. The service is amazing because I believe it's team service because everyone was helping us out, not just my server. Walking in, the hostess Tammy was very welcoming and had such a bubbly personality! The restaurant vibes is good for group of friend or a large party. Vegan reviewer here! I've been to KPot several times but this was my first time at this location and wow it was nice! My parents have never been to K BBQ and we went during lunch. I wanted hot pot and they wanted K BBQ but we were not allowed to get different orders (everyone at the table had to either get all K BBQ or all hot pot) so it was a $5 upcharge per person which wasn't bad since their lunch price was $22 w/o the upcharge. We were seated right away and I noticed the huge sauce, appetizer bar and dessert bar. The lighting in the place was cool and everything was so clean. Our server was very patient with my parents and once we got everything ordered we grabbed appetizers and waited for our food to arrive. There are a few soup broth options and I went with the miso soup but I've also had the mushroom which is great and tomato which was okay. They have several kinds of tofu and veggies for grilling or hot pot as well which can all be ordered on the iPad after the initial order with our server since it's all you can eat. The sauce bar had vegan sauces which are not clearly labeled but our server did check on some of the ambiguous appetizers to see if I could have them which I appreciated. Our meal was great and our server and the general staff was attentive taking away empty plates several times during our meal. For dessert I grabbed fruit which was very ripe and delicious and some sesame balls with red bean paste. Honestly, their lunch prices are hard to beat and their dinner prices aren't much more at $32 per person. I would definitely recommend this place for value, ambiance and service! read more

This place is absolutely FIRE!!! They have the BEST broth flavors and the highest quality meats of all the hot pot/KBBQ places I have visited in AZ. I recently discovered this place a few months ago and I am here at least twice a week lol. This place is top tear. My fave broth flavor is Healthy Herb and if I'm looking for something super spicy I get the Spicy Szechwan. Customer service is ALWAYS AMAZING! Staff is super helpful and front staff is so friendly. Revolutionary! I love the hot pot and Korean bbq fusion because our family of 4 can never agree on hot pot or bbq. I appreciate how big and clean this place is. I love the variety of sauces you can mix. They have so many seafood and meat options for hot pot and bbq and come in just enough portions. The meat is flavorful. I will say the broths are just mediocre but the toppings and the sauces make it good. They have lotsa staff here and it's packed every time we come. It gets pricey. For 3 adults and one kid plus Bobas and alcohol, it was $200+ counting tip. Our server Jake was very sweet. It's our second time this week. Will certainly be competition for the Korean hot pot/bbq places in the east valley! read more

I came here tonight to celebrate my wife's birthday along with our friend's birthday (they share the same date) we arrived around 6:30pm and were seated within a few minutes. We got both the hotpot and Bbq so order a bunch of meats, noodles and veggies. Service was prompt and we began grilling the meats and loading up our hotpots with all the goodies. I really enjoyed the hangar steak and finger meat, both had really good beef flavor and were super tender. The brisket and pork belly were also good, but the sliced ribeye was a little too thick for my liking. The tom yum soup was tasty but the mushroom soup was a little bland. Overall I enjoyed the food here more than Galbi in Chandler. So why just 2 stars? Two days before we decided to come here, my wife called and asked if we were able to get multiple birthday discounts since we were celebrating two birthdays. The guy who answered didn't know and put her on hold, presumably to talk to a manager. He came back and said there is one free meal for a party of 4 and we could get two free with a party of 10 or more. My wife questioned why it wasn't 2 free for a party of 8 and he said that was just policy. So we gathered our party of 10 and came in. Long story short they only honored one free birthday. We asked to speak to a manager (Gabriel) and told him the same story and he just hid behind the corporate policy of one birthday per table. We asked to speak to the general manager but she refused to come out, just telling the manager they were only going to honor the one birthday. We asked about splitting the check and they still said that since we were seated at the same table only one discount would be honored. It's just disappointing because we largely made the decision to come here based on the info we received earlier. We could have split our party and asked to be seated close together to get the two discounts, but we didn't think we needed to based on the phone conversation. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, so have others at the table. We all have been in situations where something goes wrong and a meal or entire ticket gets comped. As a GM, you should have the authority to do that to avoid creating a negative experience. Unfortunately, the manager said that "corporate" would question why there were 2 birthday discounts at the same table so that's why they couldn't do anything. Nothing more we can do except take our business elsewhere. read more

Pros: my broth was very tasty. Great ambiance. Seating was very roomy. Sauce/Buffet options were good. Service was okay. A cute little bear will come out with the crew and sing happy birthday which is a special touch. My kids really enjoyed their time here. Cons: Restrooms were a wreck (was pretty busy). You have to order veggies through the tablet with your meat selections (I'm just used to/prefer having them buffet style), things ordered come out very slowly and some things are missed. This place is very good! It's Korean bbq, hot pot and an appetizer buffet. The hot pot has some of the favorites like crab among others. More than the food is the excellent customer service. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We were seated at 6:30 PM, but no server came to us for about 15 minutes. This is a tablet-ordering buffet restaurant, meaning customers cannot place any orders without a server providing the ordering iPad. During this time, we were simply waiting and unable to order food at all. Despite this delay being entirely on the restaurant, the two-hour dining limit is counted from the moment you sit down, not from when you are actually able to start ordering. As a result, we lost a significant portion of our dining time due to poor service. At around 9:20 PM, we were rushed and told to leave, even though we still had food on the way and unfinished orders. Forcing customers out before customers can finish their ordered food is unacceptable and also results in unnecessary food waste. On top of the service issues, the food quality has clearly declined. The oysters and snow crab legs were noticeably worse than before, lacking freshness and overall quality. In addition, several popular items were frequently unavailable or "missed", making it feel like the restaurant was intentionally limiting high-demand dishes. If a restaurant enforces a strict time limit, then timely service--especially providing the ordering device--is the restaurant's responsibility. Penalizing customers for staff delays, declining food quality, and missing menu items reflects poor management and a lack of respect for customers. Management seriously needs to address these issues. read more

This was our first time, and the staff was very helpful explaining our choices of hot pot, bbq, or both and the costs. We went with bbq. This is basically a fixed price unlimited food experience, including drinks (alcohol does cost extra). You are given a tablet and choose from meat, seafood, vegetables. I will caution you to not succumb to over ordering. You can always order more. There is also a large condiment bar with sauces, sides, and desserts. The food came quickly. The only thing limited here is the time you can stay. To help keep tables rotating there is a two hour limit for keeping the table. Plenty of time to enjoy your meal. I will say as a first timer it was all somewhat overwhelming. We got a little of each category. Everything was very good quality.
