Do not use this service! When they removed metal file cabinets from my office, they hyper-extended the outside door to my building and damaged the door to the point that the door would no longer close. They never told me about the damage and just left. When I asked them to come back and fix the door, they refused. I received a text that said "I have too much going on to be dealing with this shit". The cost of the repair was $330.00 and I have to pay that myself. This is an unprofessional and careless company. Do not use their service!!! read more

Literally if i could give negative stars i would. They were supposed to show between 7am and noon. Did not show until 2. Ok no biggie... upon removing the furniture from a brand new construction they completely scratched and dinged up our walls and door. Huge gashes and scratches...and tore the blinds off my door....contacted the owner told him we have to pay for repairs to the damage made so i would only pay 110 of the 125 quoted. the response was "Fuck your money and your business"....so ya...if you want someone like this to help you out...go for it...just be aware of the fact they will damage your house and not care.. read more

I don't know, I had a totally different experience. I called them on Thursday to see if they could pick up a basketball hoop and pole that had cement in it. I honestly never thought I would get rid of this on the parkway in front of the house. The man I called told me they would be able to pick it up and to send him a text with my address and telephone number. ( I also asked him to acknowledge my text so at least I knew that he had received the information and he did. ) He said they would hopefully be out here that weekend or early the upcoming week. After reading the other person's experience I thought they will never show up. Voilà, on Saturday I got the call that they would be there within the half an hour to pick up the hoop. It was very heavy but they managed to get it into the truck. I was so happy to finally have it gone. I would definitely use them again! read more

The info said they were closed on Sunday but someone picked up the phone and was happy to help out. They made it to my place within the hour. 3 guys ready to work and take away my broken washer - didn't seem to mind if it was hooked up or not. Lucky for them it was already on rollers in my hallway. Excellent!! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I called this morning, after numerous failed attempts at selling my 2 couches. (We're getting new ones) Kenny asked me to text him my info and said they could arrive around 10. They texted when they were on there way, and when they arrived. 10 minutes in and out and very kind. I had a credit card to pay, without realizing they didn't take them. No big deal, my bank is 2 blocks away. I explained the situation and they drove to my bank so I could get them the cash! The boss and his crew just emptied out an office basement for me, loaded with older (heavy) metal cabinets, machinery, etc. I was so impressed! They were very fast - did what I asked. Were careful not to damage the premises in the process. They were most polite and pleasant. Even to the extent they had to break up some things in the alley to get them into the truck and they come prepared with a broom and swept it all up behind themselves. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Honestly. I took the day off of work to accommodate KR Scrappers, who said they would arrive at my house today, August 2 between 11 and 1PM. I live in a condominium, so I scheduled for our service elevator to be used from 11 to 2PM to give them some leeway. At 12:30PM, I called KR Scrappers to inquire about their time of arrival, only to be told that they could not make it to my place until 5PM...yes, 5PM with no correspondence from them besides the call I placed. Kenny, the owner, promised to arrive between 5 and 5:30PM because of their inability to deliver during my originally scheduled time, and due to the fact that residents in my building are not allowed to move large objects after 6PM. Mind you, I called KR Scrapers to set this appointment up on Tuesday, July 31, sent them TWO confirmation texts stating the exact timeframe they promised to pick up our items, recieved a texted confirmation from Kenny stating that he was aware of the pick-up time and date, only to have them not show up...TWICE. I called Kenny at 5:30PM on Aug 2 to inquire about the time of their arrival...only then did Kenny tell me that he could not make it to my building for another hour and a half. So, my original appointment for 11-1PM was now being scheduled for between 7-8PM, though I made it several days beforehand and clearly stated that I could not use their services after 6PM. I switched my ENTIRE day around to accommodate KR Scrappers because I thought their prices were fair. NEVER again. I am hosting family from out of town tomorrow afternoon and am stuck with a large pile of kitchen appliances by my front door because KR Scrappers did not deliver the service I spoke to Kenny about on six separate occasions. I am highly disappointed, and would advise anyone with any kind of sense to use another service. Please. Save yourself the time and frustration my family is currently experiencing. In my heart, I knew I should've gone with a different service, but was trying to cut costs because we are expecting. Again, SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE. It's 2018, any business that doesn't respect their customer's time shouldn't be operating. Use KR Scrappers if you'd like your time and energy wasted, seriously. read more

They took a stove and fridge. They were a crew of 3 young men. Very professional called and came the date we discussed after calling ahead to confirm. They had both appliances out in under ten minutes. Ken left his card and they offer other services as well. I will definitely be calling again and wouldn't hesitate to refer to other people. read more
