    Crab cake sandwich with fries!
    Tamla C.

On November 18, 2025. Me and my old gym buddy wanted to meet up for some lunch. So, I heard some good reviews about HT Seafood Company ,so we decided to try them out. The food was delicious and cooked to order. Our service was great...the bartender waited on us. And, she check on us and made sure we were good. The ambiance was very pleasant and gave a laid back kinda vibe. I'll definitely be back to try their Happy Hour specials!!!

Tried this place for dinner and it was good. Greg provided great service! My only complaint, the prices are too high for most items offered. My Blackened tuna was $22, but for portion/quality, should be $18 max.

The service was incredible! We had Luke, he did an amazing job. He was very attentive and friendly. The oysters on the half shell tasted very fresh and the oysters Rockefeller was delicious. Some of the best oysters I've had. The tuna poke nachos were very tasty, everything on them went very well together. The yum yum tuna was also very good, the sauce was tangy and the tuna had good flavor. The crawfish Mac & Cheese was some of the best Mac & Cheese I've had, very creamy and full of flavor. The ambience was also very nice, it was very clean and had a very relaxing vibe. We will definitely be back to try more tasty food!

Hometown Seafood has been around for a little over a year and I purposely waited to let them settle in and get them growing pains out of the way. It is located in a shopping center in middle Pearland. There has been quite a few changing of restaurants in this same exact location as long as I have been in Pearland. The reviews are mostly favorable here so I was excited to finally try it out. My family and I decided to come on a Sunday for lunch for my mom's birthday, so we called the day before to see if we could reserve a table thinking there was going to be a lunch rush. I arrived before the rest of the fam and the place wasn't busy at all. I arrived slightly before our reservation and it still took 20 minutes to be seated. I will say the staff here was very friendly, but service was extremely slow. What should have been an hour long lunch turned into a little over two hours. We asked for additional napkins and got those little square drink napkins. We asked for items for our food and never got them. Around 4 tables sat dirty the entire time we were there. Again, great kids working, but no sense of urgency. On to the food. Once I checked in on Yelp, I saw there was a complimentary order of shrimp fondue so I went ahead and redeemed it. It took awhile to come out just like everything we ordered. What we got looked appetizing and was actually very tasty. Probably my favorite item of the meal. It came with just enough pieces of bread for everyone to have just one slice. The portion was a good size so there was lots of fondue left without any more bread. I asked for either more bread or chips and told them it was ok if they charged us for that request. They said bread was on the way, but it never came. The fondue just sat there getting cold. When the bill came, there was a charge for the fondue but they did remove it. Before coming, I did check out their menu on their website. When I came, I noticed the things I wanted were not on the menu at the restaurant. They need to update that. I decided to just go ahead and get their large shrimp and catfish platter. They don't specify how many pieces of each you get, but my large portion came with two strips of catfish and another piece that was basically like a nugget, five large shrimp, two hushpuppies and fries. The small portion was just as much and much cheaper. To me, there was no consistency with their portions. The catfish was breaded wonderfully but was lacking seasoning. I can say the same thing about the shrimp. The tarter sauce, cocktail sauce and hot sauce saved the dish. Hushpuppies were tiny and slightly undercooked. The fries were very good though. I washed it down with some peach tea which was lukewarm when I got it. I had to ask for additional ice and waited forever for refills. All the waiting definitely made us lose interest in even considering a dessert. I really, really wanted to like this place. We don't have a bunch of great seafood options in Pearland and I was hoping this was going to be my spot since it's so close to home. I will say no one in our party hated the food, but the overall experience was mediocre at best. Maybe it was an off day. We shall see about coming back.

    Tuna Nachos...so good

We decided to try this place for dinner and were both pleasantly surprised. Ambiance is spacious and clean. They have a huge bar when you first walk in. We didn't try any of their signature drinks this time around. Apps-Tuna Nachos (Best Bite) Entree #1Redfish w/rice and Brussels Entree #2 sautéed crab fingers w/toasted bread Everything was really good. Ahí Tuna nachos was my best bite, although the thick slices of red onion was a bit aggressive. Rice was a little on the salty side, but better when eaten with the other sides. Our waitress was really sweet and attentive. Finally found a decent seafood spot in Pearland. We will be sure to add this one to the rolodex. Enter freely, they've been approved Tip:Check in on Yelp and get the shrimp fondue app

This was our second time visiting Hometown, thought we'd give it another try. Seated quickly, got a table right by the windows which was nice. Waiter was super helpful with suggestions, patient with our busy body 6 year old, and very attentive. We got the fried asparagus for an appetizer. It was very good, light crispy, fresh asparagus. The sauce was good, could have had more crab I guess but we were happy. We ordered the kids Mac & cheese, it was very good...if you have a picky kiddo like ours you may want to ask without the parsley sprinkles. It doesn't come with fries so we ordered extra. Fries were fresh, tasty & came out hot. We ordered the crispy flounder sandwich. It was very good, light and crispy served on French bread/po boy bread...pickles, tomatoes, sauce was good. More fries, which we didn't mind. Also ordered the fried shrimp, shrimp was tasty and not over battered. Served with more fries. Tarter was very good. Ordered tea & Coke Zero...both good. So wasn't an overly complicated order, pretty simple but everything was very good. Bill was roughly about $70 without tip. Glad we gave HT another shot, will definitely be back!

Hometown Seafood is a must-visit! This was our first time eating there and everything was exceptional. The service was great and the food was delicious! They also had live music. We will definitely be back. We had the shrimp dip (not pictured), Cajun pasta, catfish nuggets & fries kids meal, and catfish & shrimp platter.

We were supposed to try a new brunch spot on Sunday but it was a 45 min to 1 hour wait! Absolutely not! Since we were in the Pearland area, I called my coworker to see what she suggested as an alternative and she told us about Hometown Seafood. I was skeptical at first because a lot of people hadn't reviewed this restaurant but I figured we could give it a try since it was lunch time and we hadn't eaten yet. We arrived about an hour after they opened and there were only 2 tables and a couple of seats at the bar that were occupied. Again, skeptical because I didn't see a lot of people during brunch. We were seated and assigned Anthony as our waiter. He was patient with us and very attentive. When he took our order, he repeated it back to ensure accuracy...check! When our food came to the table, it was accurate just as I expected it would be...check! We ordered the crab balls, fried oysters, house salad and the shrimp and grits. The crab balls were seasoned to perfection and were hitting all the right notes! I usually love sharing food with my better half but today was not that day! Lol! This was truly the song that my mouth needed to hear...check! The house salad was prepared with crisp and fresh vegetables. The purple onion gave it the right touch of sweetness and the oyster crackers were a nice addition. I love salad and someone in the kitchen knows how to make a dang good one...check! The chorizo, shrimp and beer broth on top of the grits tasted great. The grits, however, were a fail...boooo! They could have been cooked a little longer. They were more on the stiffer side and "gritty". They wouldn't have been able to stand on their own if all else were taken away. Since 95% of the food we ordered tasted great, I'm anxious to go back and try something different.

Was in the area and happened to stop by during their oyster happy hour, $1 oysters! Staff were friendly and food came out hot and fresh. I ordered myself two dozens of oysters and family got the Hometown Po boy and the large shrimp/catfish. Was only able to snap a photo of my food before the baby devoured her food. They have a $15 lunch option as well from 1100-1500. Will definitely have to come back and check the rest of their menu plus more oysters! Come show your support if you're in the area.

Jalapeño cucumber margarita (extra spicy by request) and long Island tea. They were both perfect!

We've been to Hometown Seafood twice now. Both times were great service and great food. The ambiance is casual but you would still be at home dressing up a little. Things we've tried: Seafood bisque (fantastic! Best we've had) Sauteed crab fingers (very tasty and a big portion) Steak medallions (hubby said they were great and tender) Blackened redfish with crab and lemon topping (loved it! I'm ready to get it again) Boudin eggrolls (these were so good!) Fried shrimp (large shrimp, slightly sweet hushpuppes, battered crispy fries. Delicious) We love this place. Highly recommended

The bacon that was all over our Steamed Mussels
    Mahwish S.

So far from the last 3 take out orders that I've had here, my conclusion still stands that I will probably only order the mussels with white garlic butter sauce from this restaurant (and specify not to include any bacon in my dish). The almondine fish is also good if you get a good sized filet. The catfish plate that comes with 3 catfish filets and 6 shrimp was disappointing in the size of the catfish filets. They were small and not worth the price of the dish. The dish might get a more realistic expectation if they do one large filet and shrimp. When you hear three filet it gives you a different expectation that was disappointing. I still think it's also unnecessary to give any fries with the mussels order. They can stand alone.

We were a party of 11 people on a Friday evening. We made last minute reservations and we were able to get a table. Our server Sage was very attentive and prompt. We came during happy hour. Pretty much tried every appetizer offered. I liked the double dip the best. Calamari and popcorn chicken were not as crispy. My husband ordered a dozen oysters for 12$. They were great. We also ordered lobster grilled cheese and fried catfish. Everything was pretty good. The drinks we ordered during happy hour were pretty okay. Espresso martini, watermelon mojito were okay.

If I had the option to come back on someone else tab, I wouldn't. The service was great. The food was not. The food was tasteless. I thought if I took it home, fix it up it would help and it only made me sick the next day. My friend had the shrimp and grits and hardly touched it. However, the mimosa... great. Lol. Unfortunately, it had a stench in the place that smelled of my pups animal hospital. I wouldn't come back.

The owner was right there on the line working hard with his employees and the ingredients were real and fresh. It took me such a long time to visit this restaurant because the concepts are not something you see often, after the eating the food it's like a spin on cajun, american comfort soul food with a modern day finish. I don't even speak like this, but after this fantastic meal I couldn't help but to let yall know it's worth a try. The first item I tried was the blackened fish jambalaya & it was really good & looked like it came straight out the pan! however i'm used to bland food so the kick from the seasoning took me back some. I then tried their punch and it was so good words can't even explain. Again packed with flavor , sweet and has a tang from what seems to be lemon. Fresh pineapples and strawberries were in the drink as well, I can honestly say it's one of the best 3 drinks i've ever had. If they sold them by the gallon i'd purchase it just to keep in the house. I even added some water to it when it was almost gone and it still tasted good! It mellowed out some of the sweetness, but not the flavor. I also got the Da Justo Sampler and at first it seemed like a lot and kind of overwhelming, but let me tell you it was so amazing. First of all the grilled cheese was exceptional, the best grilled cheese i've ever had. The wings were sweet and spicy and I didn't even need ranch for them, I thought it would ruin the flavor! & I'm a person who eats ranch with everythingg. The mac & cheese is the perfect example of what mac and cheese should be, the fries were okay though, I wish they were crispier but even with that it didn't stop nothing! Everything is still a 10/10. I went back and tried the Jambalaya a little later & again another 10/10, i've never had Jambalaya before so the flavors were so crazy , but I still found myself not able to put the fork down! The portions are very big from those two meals I got i was able to share with 3 other people and we all had nice portions ( i was not sharing that punch tho!). if your sick of your typical generic food options and want something out the box and worth the price or just want a cheat meal that's worth it, Krack Kitchen is your spot!

Make sure you go back to the grill to show you paid for your meal. Now I will say it took 25 minutes to get our food but it was HOT and FRESH. We got the jambalaya and 10 chicken wings. The wings were crispy and juicy with a lot of seasoning. Everything inside the Jambayla was delicious from the shrimp, to the fish, to the sausages, etc etc. just all super flavorful in general. There are 4 small tables each with 2 seats which I appreciated cause I usually prefer to eat the food fresh rather than eating it in the car/bringing it home. Would definitely come back to try other dishes; but keep in mind that the location of the gas station is kinda not ideal. You'll know what I mean when you drive there. It's hard getting there/getting out. And again food takes a long time, so if you're looking for quick fast food this place is not it, but it is delicious

(Disclaimer: Don't get extra spicy if you can't handle Habanero heat!) Next up, hubby had the Shrimp Po Boy with fries and red beans. CLEANED. THE. PLATE!!! To cool down some of the heat, the AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS beignets with vanilla ice cream, just like Cafe Du Monde, or even better. The vanilla ice cream was creamy and rich, which paired well with the beignets. Wait! I forgot to mention the Lychee Lemonade. What a wonderful balance to a wonderful meal. Thank you to our beautiful and sweet server, Dayna. She makes you feel like family. Top notch service and very accommodating. Miranda came by since I read several reviews that mentioned her. Lovely ladies! Okay, line up and hit this spot! Til next time... Later Gator!!!

Shout-out to Dylan D. for welcoming us into Houston tonight with the best seafood boil experience…read moreever!!!!! Every time I visit the city, y'all already know that Crawfish Cafe is my first stop after the airport and last stop before I go home. This is my favorite crawfish joint in the entire country, but my first time at this location. The wait was a bit longer than I'm used to, but it's understandable for a Friday evening. I highly recommend adding your name to their Yelp wait list from the app before heading there. Learn from our experience and optimize accordingly, LMAO. I got Combo #1 with The Mix sauce, medium spice level, and a pineapple sausage add-on. We got an order of Cajun fries and hush puppies for the table as well, but honestly it was more than enough food. I brought a good chunk of my meal home to-go and am already looking forward to enjoying these leftovers tomorrow.
