Muddy crawfish, that weren't cleaned before eating.

Hi I came in today and ordered 5 lbs of crawfish and all the them were dirty, and still had mud on them, at the bottom of the bag was muddy water i mentally couldn't eat it, the service was friendly and welcoming, it was just the crawfish that weren't cleaned. It would have tasted amazing otherwise!

Yum yum yum! My coworker recommended this restaurant for seafood boil and it did not disappoint. It is a small spot right next to a small gas station on the side of the feeder road. You have to drive slowly not to miss it and have to do several loops to get back to it. We ordered a side of hush puppy (6 in an order), 1/2 lb shrimp with garlic butter sauce and 5 lb crawfish with a couple extra potatoes. I enjoyed it all! I like that their seasoning is in the water so that it penetrates inside the crawfish. Some people sprinkle seasoning on outside which is pointless because you don't eat the shell. Their boil only comes one way "Cajun style" so you don't have a choice on your spice level. It has a medium spice level to it, but I like spice! You can get garlic butter sauce to put on top of the crawfish if you like. That garlic butter sauce is chunky and divine! The part that I didn't like is that the corn and potatoes are boiled separately in plain water so it doesn't have any flavoring to it. We asked if they are able to put it in the boil with our crawfish and they said no. But I did sop up that yummy garlic butter sauce with it.

I decided to try this place after passing by a bunch of times. The place was a little dark because of the way the sun sets on that side of the building. I ordered the shrimp po-boy which was excellent. The fries were good as well. The only problem I have was with the customer service. When I walked in the man looked at me as if I wanted to stick the place up. So impersonal. They need to work on that.

Set in a gas station/truck stop, this restaurant sits unassumingly in the corner of the gas station plaza. It's affectionately known as Kray Cray but the sign on the door says Cajun House. When they are not busy, you can call in your order or order through drive-thru, but a sign on the drive-thru window instructed us to order inside. Walking into the store, I was surprised at how roomy it was - there is a seating area with an occupancy of maybe 20 persons. The menu items are majorly seafood and Cajun dishes (crawfish, shrimp, crab, étouffée, boudin), but there are sandwiches and non-seafood options as well (chicken, pork and pasta). We ordered the shrimp and crawfish étouffée, 1/2lb of shrimp, and chicken wings. The shrimp and crawfish étouffée were very well seasoned and tasty, though more soupy than I expected. The shrimp was tasty, could've been a bit more seasoned, but after I let them marinate in the sauce for a bit of time, they tasted better (pro-tip: let them shrimps marinate before you try them), the wings were pretty good. Our entire order came up to around $40, which was pretty cheap for the amount of food we got. I would visit again.

Great food. We got grilled catfish, fried shrimp and the Number 16 shrimp boil. If you look at the picture, what do you expect? Wrong. No potatoes or corn included. Shrimp was very good.

First time here and they did not disappoint! They have fresh live crawfish which was decent size. I ordered 8lbs of crawfish in medium heat. Flavor from the boil was bit spicy but it was so delicious and buttery. This is one of the best boil I have ever had besides the ones in New Orleans. I also ordered wings for my kids which came with a side. My kids wanted fried rice and it was a good choice! Wings were pretty big, juicy and full of flavor. The fried rice with shrimp was amazing and full of flavor. I highly recommended this place for your crawfish cravings.

After passing this business many times, I finally stopped in to give them a try. They offer Tilapia and Catfish. I will not consume Tilapia not a fan of Catfish or any farm raised seafood. I would like to see them offer Wild Whole Red Snapper and Red Fish to include offering them with all their fish orders. Also offered were Fries, Wings, Shrimp, Turkey necks, Crawfish and what ever I missed. I ordered Catfish with 6 shrimp + 1 more, boiled shrimp, turkey neck and 5 wings. Me being cheap I felt 40$ was expensive tho, wanted to get good feel for the place. It was all taken to go so the fries didn't travel well for the distance, The fish and shrimp very good, the turkey necks very good with good flavour, the wings sadly for me over cook and dry. I had them necked no sauce. Over all the food was good and I will return someday, I wish they were a bit cheaper and understand everything is up in price. I would like to see Tony's used for seasoning and spice up the Shrimp n Fish. or offer a spicy version.

Pinch, peel, suck...review is based on being here a few times for the fresh boiled crawfish. The flavor is consistent with a good spicy kick the way we like it and the heads are always juicy. One day will try the other items on the menu but for now only crawfish cravings that needs satisfying. Appreciate that it's conveniently located by the freeway, ample parking with call ahead order available.

Found a nice long black hair in my food at 3:20 pm April 18 2021 Nothing covered their hair - no face mask and no curb side pick up Don't get me wrong the food is good but this will be my last visit. Can't risk it -

Crawfish is good but too spicy for us. The 5 lbs doesn't seem 5 lbs though. I buy 3 lbs at Heb and i know it wasn't 5 lbs at all maybe plus the bucket it came in.

Time to Appetizers: 20 Minutes Time to Crawfish: 25 Minutes It's a solid branch from the main location in Bellaire, but they're missing some things. For example, the Bellaire location has the new Viet-Cajun flavor of sauce that hasn't debuted here yet (though you can DIY a mix). (Review is for July 2026 if they've updated since then) We got here at 6:05PM and got seated with no issues. Ordered the following: Combo #1 with extra corn and potatoes (3.5/5): Crawfish isn't in season, so don't be surprised at my low rating. It's still great and flavorful all around. Garlic Noodles with Shrimp (4/5): Still incredibly rich and buttery and garlicy and great for a palate cleanser. I'd skip the shrimp; you get eight pieces for $10 extra and that's not really worth it. Crawfish Beignets (4.5/5): Still a fantastic appetizer. Comes out hot, crispy, buttery, and is a really indulgence. 1 lb. Little Neck Clams (4.5/5): I liked these more than the crawfish tbh. It really does depend on what's in season. Very easy to eat, very flavorful. Service was generally good but our server seemed slammed; it took a long time to get water refills and to place extra orders (we got a second order of beignets to-go). Market price for crawfish is high and they're not in season, so don't be afraid to ask. The Combo #1 in July 2026 was $22. Overall, I'll probably be back during crawfish season especially because it's more convenient for me than the Bellaire location, but the Bellaire location has it beat for general atmosphere after the remodeling and much better options for mixes there.
