Not too impressed, honestly. I went here to get some boba while running errands nearby, and my first impression is the sticker shock. $8+ for a drink with boba topping? Fortunately, I eyed a paper that said $2 off first order with the app, so I went through the process to download the app and make the order. It says up to 15 minutes, okay. I even went up to double check if the order went through, and they said yes, and just proceeded to clean up the area and chill afterwards. It was 20 minutes after and then a huge wave of customers went in, and theirs arrived after mine, calling numbers higher than mine. I then went back up to check, only to realize they had made the drink all along, just sitting in the fridge for 20 minutes. That partly affects the preparation and quality: I ordered the Guerilla Thai which is a slush with Thai tea, matcha, and sea cream, and of course I also added boba. As beautiful as it is with the orange and green, I only really tasted the Thai tea. I tasted none of the matcha and sea cream. I guess in their preparation, Thai tea and matcha just don't go well together. Boba is of average quality. I requested 50% sweet and it was still way too sweet, so I wasn't even sure if they even adjusted the level of sweetness. Overall, while the drinks sound and look interesting, I was underwhelmed by the price and quality. My husband and I attended the soft opening for Krak Boba and were very excited since we enjoy the one in Rancho Cucamonga. The storefront is bigger than the Rancho one with several tables which is nice. The employee who took our order was very friendly. I ordered the Dragonslayer with boba and my husband got a strawberry green tea with boba. I noticed that my drink was ready after maybe 7 minutes. However, my husband's was not for almost another 10 minutes so my drink did sit there until our full order was ready. I also did notice other order numbers after us were being called before we got our drinks. The dragon slayer was good and refreshing but wasn't blended as smooth as other boba slushes I've had. I think I do prefer the butterfly spritz tea because of that. The boba had a very nice texture, soft and chewy. Considering that this was a soft opening, I hope the crew will work out the kinks in time with the feedback they receive. I am excited to have a Krak Boba in Glendora so I will be back in the future to get my favorite butterfly spritz tea! There were no issues with parking as it shares a lot with the Diamond Ridge shopping center. However, it gets very busy on the weekend so it's nice to park just a tad further away to avoid foot traffic and vehicles almost backing into you. read more

I've been waiting for this boba shop to open considering there aren't very many boba shops (at least in the Covina area). When my husband and I walked in literally everyone greeted us. They have a pretty good selection of drinks ranging from teas, milk teas, smoothies and specialities. I got the Dragon Slayer and my husband got the Guerilla Thai. Both drinks are so pretty and actually tasty (though my husband said the matcha got lost in the Thai tea). We'll definitely be back to try their other drinks! Came in a few minutes ago and it was not the best experience. We ordered and sat waiting for about 8-10 minutes before checking what happened. Our order got lost in the system, so we had a delay getting it. That's fine, I get stuff happens, but when I ordered the register said "if you want to use tap click pay with cash" so I did. When we finally got our order I told the workers (2 girls) that I needed to pay and they made me get back in the line to pay. I work retail and I get it gets busy sometimes, but I think the least that could be done when you mess up a customers order is just let them pay real quick and leave. read more

I tried their signature milk tea with light ice and 25 % sweet. It was good. I wish they had more tea options like Earl Grey or Oolong milk tea but I didn't see that on their menu. Their boba cost an additional 80 cents, as for any toppings, and they only have one size option when it comes to non-coffee drinks. I wish they had different sizes for those of us who want a treat but not over do it. But I must say, the boba was cooked to perfection. It was fresh and chewy. Not all boba places get it right-- this place did! Lots of parking available as they have a shared lot with Th other businesses in the plaza. The he music was not too loud and I see some people just stinting with friends and enjoying good drinks. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and made some recommendations. Just as an FYI if you can't decide on a drink and are feeling adventurous you can select a piece of paper to randomly select a drink. I opted for the Taro Twist 25% sweet and coffee jelly. The taro taste was great as they use taro paste and not taro powder. I am very critical of boba places and this made a first good impression. Came here for their grand opening. All their drinks look good, but decided to get the dragon slayer and added pudding. Drink took a few mins to make as it was packed and busy. The flavor is good and refreshing and it's one of the better drinks I've had. Pudding tasted pretty good too. Great atmosphere of a boba place, located in a nice plaza as well. I ordered their strawberry matcha specialty and the wait time was very fast. Games are also provided by the desk during the wait time. The servers were also very polite. The drink itself was pretty good, and I think that ordering it with 75% sweetness was the right choice because I think it was still relatively sweet even after the reduction. The strawberry and milk combo was really good, but the matcha didn't fulfill my expectations. It left a really dry aftertaste and there wasn't any depth to that flavor. Overall probably a great stop to get some drinks, but the matcha really ruined the drink that I got. Might come back to try something else. read more

I got two drinks today on opening day. Both are on a little sweeter side even though I ordered 75% sugar. I recommend trying 50% to start for newcomers. They have raffles going on next to the register. Plenty of ways to join. There's not as many people as I expected at 5 PM. But there is a lot of employees working at the counters, so it's not that slow to get your drink even with a short line. 3.5/5: taro twist: they put it on their top 10 board so I ordered to try because I really love taro. However, there's not really taro paste in it, at least from what I'm drinking I don't feel it. I feel like it's taro powder with a little bit of real taro in it. Just not much. Or maybe just too smooshed. I will give it a higher star if it's not as sweet, so it might just be my personal preference here. 4.5/5: king brulee: this is number one on their board. I thought it was just milk and brown sugar Boba, however I think it taste a tint of coffee in it? Maybe I'm hallucinating, but it's not bad! Unfortunately, my husband won't be able to enjoy it because he can't drink coffee hahhaha. But thats him. I like it. I would still lower the sweetness to 50% though.
