The first thing we see is a very touristy place, so I should've known it wasn't going to be good food when we walked in, and all 3 people by the door didn't greet us. For the price and quality of the food, it isn't worth almost $30 to pay for a shrimp taco that I asked to be blackened so that they could put soggy pico de gallo on it. The shrimp was mushy because it was probably frozen. My husband got shrimp too, and he had to send it back because it was mushy as well, and the slaw was warm and brown. Overall, this place is a tourist trap; there are plenty of seafood places with great, quality food and drinks that are much cheaper. read more

This location is your typical beach front beach bar style restaurant! We got seated with a party of 8 fairly quickly! they have indoor and outdoor seating options. The spicy margarita with passion fruit was the perfect island drink! The grouper blackened was great! we also ordered the shrimp tacos! I used to love this place but now it's just okay. I do usually love the food, but last time my fish tacos were dry and over done. The drinks, they were not flowing. I stood at the bar for at least 15 minutes on a Tuesday night and was never acknowledged once. I honestly just wanted to ask a question and maybe order a second drink. I've never experienced anything like it. I hate leaving reviews like this, as I used to be a restaurant manager and once a bartender, but it was defeating. There was a regular sitting next to me with a Krazy Fish shirt and reusable cup, and I she was frustrated for me! She tried waving down the staff. Any way, I'll come back and give them a second shot, because every restaurant has a bad day. The food is typically very good and the bartenders are usually very friendly. I miss my fave bartender there, I can't recall his name, but he was so friendly and I believe from Jamaica. Please don't let my bad experience deter you from usually a great place to sit outside and enjoy a tropical drink. Our waitress Randy was so sweet and was perfect. She kept drinks filled, put the order in fast, kept conversation, and was so sweet, despite having so many tables and us (a party of 12). Definitely my favorite restaurant from our entire vacation at Port St Joe! The place is cute and a cute spot for evening family supper and later hangout spot. Best cobb salad i've ever had. Please heed these reviews and do NOT go here! I will say our waitress was super sweet and friendly. But I wish I had and not wasted a hundred dollars on extremely expensive but horrible food. The only good things were the corn dogs, fries and pina colada. My "fresh" fish sandwich was anything but fresh, it was actual mush with random weird spices that made it taste like blended up grossness. The coleslaw was cabbage and ramen noodles with water, no hint of any flavor whatsoever. We tried to dine at this place twice. The first time we were told that we had a 2 hour wait plus a 1 hour wait for food since they were short staffed. Completely understandable! We went back the next day and sat on the patio. It was super loud on the patio and while the live music was great, I felt like we were more at a bar than a family friendly restaurant. The food was underwhelming. The "blackened" fish and grilled fish was basically the same. While it's a fun spot, I think there are better options in PSJ. read more

We were with a large group and had waited over an hour so we weren't leaving at that point. The non fried food options were extremely limited. The ONE food she could eat safely was crab legs which were to $52.00 for a pound. Two nights prior I had eaten crab legs down the road for $30,00 a pound. I will NEVER go back. read more

While on vacation we drove through Port Joe and stopped at KrazyFish for dinner. The restaurant is brightly decorated and you enter a small store before you get to the hostess desk. They have a texting service, so you provide your phone number and they send a text when your table is ready. The confusing thing is they don't send a confirmation text, only when your table is ready. We were quoted 45 minutes to wait, and headed outside where they have a small area with corn-hole. They also have full bar service while you wait. Once our table was ready we headed inside before heading back to their main seating area. Advisory, it's not air conditioned so was pretty warm inside. Our server was prompt and attentive. We ordered the grouper tacos, shrimp tacos, kids chicken fingers and kids fried shrimp. Our food came out quickly and we were surprised with the quantity and quality of the food. My kids raved about the shrimp and chicken fingers, and we loved their tacos. The grouper was fresh and included two large tacos with all the fixings, side of Asian coleslaw and fries. The shrimp was extremely fresh and was very large. We had a delicious and plentiful dinner that we really enjoyed. Check it out! read more

KrazyFish Grill is a funky restaurant in Port St. Joe. The menu covers everything from fried seafood to sandwiches to salads to burgers. Our group stopped at KrazyFish on our way from the Panama City airport to our Airbnb past the town. We were able to be seated quickly, but were sat at an extremely small table for 4 adults. We had to stack plates and condiments to make room for our dinner plates. The service was fine, nothing outstanding. The food was the main attraction...our group tested the sandwiches and burgers, and we were very happy with what we ordered. Go for the food! read more

Our family ate here while staying in Port St Joe. It has a nice, fun environment with places to play corn hole and sit outside. We were greeted and seated quickly as there was not a crowd. Service was good and timely. The food however was not very good. My wife ordered the fish grilled and not blackened but it arrived with a thick coat of pepper and spices. She attempted to scrape off the pepper and spices. However, the fish underneath was old and chewy. She only ate 1/4 of her fish. We were hoping for fresh fish but it was not to be. My hamburger was okay but the fries were forgettable. I would avoid the coleslaw too. The Gouda grits were pretty good. It's probably a good place to hang out with friends and have a drink but I would not eat my meal here. For the quality of the food you get this place is expensive. read more

I'll make this short. great workers who care about their job, the customers and the food. bar tender really shook the shaken martini and that was much appreciated by my wife. when our delicious onion rings came out, the sous chef came out to ask if we wanted a special sauce of some kind with the onion rings. he was so kind and quickly put together a nice light lemon sauce that not only excellent with onion rings but also the shrimp. speaking of shrimp, they were large and perfectly cooked my wife has fried shrimp I had jambalaya. all in all this place has good colorful ambience,very good food and great employees. definitely worth trying it out. read more

We had a table of 13, they sat us outside in the heat, in 90° weather as we had to wait for an hour and 30 minutes to even get a table and that's all they offered us. Outside seating has no fans near all the tables, and no air or any circulation of air at all. The umbrellas do nothing. Not only did we sit in heat, we were there for 3 hours waiting for everyone's food. A family member ordered crab legs and they didn't get their food until 10 minutes before we left. We asked for a refund and they only offered 15$ off 55$ crab legs. Sitting in the heat made us all lose our appetites by the time our food came. Our server didn't check on us at all and we had no refill on water or anything drinks, a family member was so hot they had to walk to the bar to get water. This place cost 112$ for two drinks, grouper tacos with fries, and snapper fish with fires and a tuna dip with crackers. The food was gross. We are so disappointed with food and service. If you go here do NOT seat outside. And beware of the crazy prices. A family member got heat rash from sitting outside for so long with no fan or air circulation mind you we did NOT ask to be sat outside. Our server also rolled her eyes multiple times at our family members for asking for more than $15 off $55 dollar crab legs that was served over an hour after the whole family ate. The grouper was outstanding, the cole slaw is horrible. They use Roman noddle's as a filler in the cole slaw. No dressing in the cole slaw, they put olive oil in it. No flavor at all. No salt or pepper. Probably will not eat there again. Prices are a little high also. read more

Had a great lunch at KrazyFish today. I wasn't too "krazy" about KrazyFish my first visit, but it has grown on me since. While still a bit too expensive in my opinion, the food and service has gotten so much better. Today I had the gator tail poboy and it was seasoned just right and so tender; absolutely delicious. We loved our food! I had the margarita and the tacos with mahi. My nephew had the gator sandwich. His girlfriend had the tacos with chicken. My drink was great. The tacos were really good. We've been to the st Joe area multiples times and wanted to try somewhere new. Horrific services and food was pretty bland. $26 for 2 tacos and some fries. We also got 2 pinacoladas which were horribly strong and were brown with liquor. We asked if they could be sent back as they were not able to be frank they were so horrible and we were told she couldn't and we would have to pay for another one. The manager then came over after 30 minutes of waiting to let us know she would have them remade and it wouldn't have the "float". We then waited about an hour for food to come out with little to no service the entire time (it took about 20 minutes for the waitress to come back and ask if the drinks were good in the first place. ) I also ordered crab legs and go no silverware or crackers just some plastic forks and spoons, when I asked if they had any she said "no people keep throwing them away" and offered to grab me a metal fork. The place was packed and there was staff in the back smoking while tables were left unattended with customers clearly getting agitated. Our physical table was so wobbly it practically tipped over multiple times just from someone feet touching it. This place was horrible and I would never recommend it to anyone especially for the price. read more

We stopped here tonight, on a Wednesday, and there was a 20 minute wait unless we wanted to sit on the patio. So we sat on patio and we were the only table at this point. We sat for 10 mins without service and finally went and asked for a server. Finally someone came and we got our order in. We ordered buffalo shrimp, calamari, kids chicken tenders and kids corndog. The calamari wasn't edible. They were the size of a dime and width of a small rubber band. TINY. I have never asked for something to be taken off my check, but this time I had to. I wasn't paying that much for such bad quality. We came from Chicago and were so excited for seafood but we're able to get better seafood by us. Thankfully they took that off. Then after we waited in line at the bar for the bill for our table, we finally got the bill. Our daughter got the souvenir cup of virgin pina colada, and they charged the full price of $21 (which is the same price of an alcoholic drink- whatever) but then my daughter asked for a refill and they charged us another $21. So there was a $42 charge for 2 virgin pina coladas. I asked to have to changed to a $10 "refill" (which again is same price as alcohol).
