Just left there. OMG. Service was horrible. Donuts were ice cold...which is a first for me. I am a frequent customer and I've never had donuts from there that were Iced cold. So I pop in to get (what I believe) will be a quick "sorry ma'am...let me get you a replacement". Oh my God.... absolutely did not happen that way. The kids at the counter couldn't help because they said only the manager can change out an order. So I wait while 3 different people call the manager...who was in clear eye sight of me. The manager makes me wait for quite a while and then once she does finally speak to me...I felt like helping me seemed like a major inconvenience. I explained the problem...and she lets me know that all the donuts are served cold except for during certain hours. Wow. I've come here for years and literally have never eaten an ice cold donut. Ever. They are typically room temperature. This really was a bad experience and I hope the owner sees this and does something about the customer service. read more

I am not rating Krispy Kreme on taste! My 5 star rating is based on an experience that I had with them. I needed purple glazed donuts for a donut cake that I made for a quincenera and Krispy Kreme came to the rescue!! The manager took my order and details. From there, all I had to do was pick them up. They were the perfect shade of purple and very nicely/neatly iced, they looked beautiful and worked perfectly as a cake! The price was reasonable, also! Our first trip. Okay. Just learned from trip that we are Round Rock donuts fans for life. Suggestion have a big timer above donut counter to let customers know when to expect next batch of hot and fresh donuts instead of having clerk say we are out of original donuts. A customer before and a customer after us left. We came in for original and variety. Ordered only variety for dine in. Since they came in vs going through drive through they probably were going to eat in and would have waited for fresh original donuts. Losing money by having clerk say we are out of donuts period. This location has drive through, I was greeted and helped by Christine (thank you again so much!). I ordered a plain donut and a frozen mocha. Plain meaning nothing on it, not even glaze. I've never been here before nor ordered donuts before! Coming from a different country, donut for me it's one plain traditional one! At the checkout window, she was awaiting for me with a full dozen boxed! I wish I would like all the fancy donuts. KOLACHE REVIEW: OK, now Krispy Kreme has a special place for me in my current kolache obsession. I'd heard mention of kolaches all my life, being part Czech, but not until moving to Texas did the reality of kolaches manifest and take human form. OK, not human form--that was a little hyperbole. But the kolache did move from concept to actuality. I picked up a copy of Texas Highways last summer, and read an article on finding the perfect kolache in Texas. I was intrigued... it was not until sometime in November, when I pulled into this Krispy Kreme, to pick up a healthy donut--to form the cornerstone of my healthy, pre-work breakfast-- did i happen to catch kolaches on the menu. I was immediately enthralled! such delicious-looking graphics of these pasties! And the selection! I went with bacon, egg, & cheese; and a ham & cheese. they were everything I had dreamed a kolache could be, and more! Warm, gooey, cheesy, savory, doughy, and a hint of sweet donut dough... I. Was. Hooked. I do have to restrain myself from pulling in here EVERY DAY for a kolache or two on my way to work. They have a great selection, including pizza, ham & cheese, sausage, jalapeno and sausage, and a few others. Yumminess in a small paper sack! I'm sure there are better kolaches out there, and my newfound obsession will have me seek out the wildest, craziest kolache. (Tony B mentioned a meatball kolache around Airport Boulevard!) This review is based on my experience ordering custom donuts for a birthday party. I ordered 3 dozen of the "Silly" donut, which is on their website. They cost a little more than $10 per dozen. Unfortunately, my husband didn't look at the donuts when he picked them up for me. What we got doesn't look anything like the advertised design. The best chain donut store in Austin. It actually might just be the best in general. The only place that is on the same level is Round Rock Donuts. My favorites are the chocolate iced with sprinkles, chocolate glazed cake, blueberry cake, chocolate iced, raspberry filled and of course the original glazed. I would recommend trying their original round donuts and the cake donuts over the filled shells. read more

Awful. They have a rewards system but dont know how to redeem your points off your account. Three times I've tried to redeem the points in different occasions. Just now they had me 10 mins trying to figure it out i gave up and left.
