I enjoyed my iced Cinnamon Spin and complimentary chocolate covered coffee bean which is one of the special touches that Modern Grind brings to make it's customers feel even more special. I heard there is another location in Glendale, AZ as well so I'll be checking that out next time I'm in town but the Avondale location has my heart and overall loyalty when I'm in town. Extremely rude staff. I asked for the Halloween 3 pack, the lady taking orders had an attitude and snapped saying they, "don't do that here". Legit snapped! Okay, that's fine! So we tell her we are going to order a few more.. so 6 all together. We start ordering a few other donuts, and she continued to cut me off and tell me she needed to know how many we needed. That's totally understandable, but she went on and on about how they need to know this kind of information up front. Every time we tried to continue talking, she just kept going! Okay, I said 6, but that's okay! It's early. She continues to give me an attitude about how they need to know up front how many donuts we are ordering! Lady, I told you up front. But sure, let's just keep ordering. Afterwards, she says okay just drive up to the front. I wasn't done ordering? Doesn't finish taking my order. I drive up to order a coffee too, I try to ask for a flavored coffee, and she cuts me off and says you can have cream and sugar. Which one? They got the order wrong and gave us a different kind of donuts instead (cookies and creme but with icing instead of crushed oreo's on top). We had told them that they got the order wrong.
