Made a point in my day to come here because of the mars donut only available today. The donut is to commemorate the landing of the US on Mars today. I drove miles from the area that I was in, found a parking spot, got in line, and waited outside in the cold for 20 minutes. There is a sign on the door, I posted a picture, stating only five customers at a time. The problem with that is that there are stickers inside of the store that indicate more than five customers at a time which is really bad business. I get inside and the lady tells me and the other two customers behind me that there are no more Mars donuts and that they sold out. She was a little dry and didn't offer any apologies. The store doesn't close for a few more hours so I'm not sure why they would run out of this. To make it worse I actually called 20 minutes before I came to verify that they had the Mars doughnut. This is absolutely horrible customer service. They should at least put a sign stating that there are no more mars donuts at this location before you wait 20 minutes in the freezing cold outside. Incidentally, I contacted the Clairemont store and the Carmel Mountain store both north of the 8 Freeway, and they have plenty of Mars donuts at 5:30 PM. One of my coworkers brings in donuts from here to work when we are celebrating something. It always makes my day because these are the most delicious donuts anybody brings in . Today when I was in East Lake visiting my cousin I remembered there's a Krispy Kreme in East Lake , so of course I had to pick up a dozen donuts . Their customer service was awesome and the donuts tasted just as awesome. I was really impressed with how great everybody is at this location . Try the strawberry shortcake eclair . Terrible service!!! I ordered a cake 5 days before my daughters bday, it was supposed to be ready at 5:00pm. I called that day at noon just to verify and they said " yes, I have your order her, it will be ready at 5:00. This review is based solely on the customer service I recently received. Saturday 8/3/19 - I came into the store, ordered 2 "Quick Break Combos" with caramel Latte's (See pictured receipt). Great customer service experience. Sunday 8/4/19 - I came into the store, ordered 2 "Quick Break Combos" with caramel Latte's (see pictures receipt) and was told by the cashier Sara that it only included regular coffee. When I questioned the previous day and pointed the girl who served me, she said "well she doesn't know what she's doing." I was totally fine with regular coffee, but for an employee to belittle another employee in front of a customer is not acceptable. Whatever the issue is, the promotional deal should be discussed in private between the employee and manager and not openly stated in front of other customers. I hope that the management team is able to address this issue and share this review with "Sara" so next time she won't look at me like I'm full of shit trying to pull a fast one on Krispy Kreme. read more

I enjoy this location because they offer Coffee bean & Tea leaf coffee & teas. The cookie butter latte is impressive! I add an extra shot plus an extra scoop of cookie butter to boost the flavor profile and caffeine. Outstanding. The orchard peach is delightful as well. Newly added menu item. I prefer coffee bean lattes over Starbucks. The only issue with going to this Coffee bean tea location is you can't use their app for your purchase. Nevertheless, the strawberry shortcake eclair, glazed, pumpkin spice and powdered sugar strawberry filled donuts are delectable. The original glazed are toothsome. The strawberry eclair are Superbly fried pastries filled with the luscious, savory strawberry buttercream. This location is very clean inside and out. I have not been to Crispy Kreme for at least a good part of a decade, and after eating one of their Cinnamon Buns, their version of a cinnamon roll, I learned why I have not visited on a while unfortunately. The cinnamon bun was small and heavily glazed with sugar and cost .95.
