I want to like this location so much. Every time I come here, there is a bit of an issue. Either they don't have my mobile order ready in the amount if time that the app predicts, or they don't get the order correct (mods are not done well here), or they take FOREVER to acknowledge someone coming into the place. There are no welcome greetings at this location when you walk in the door, never. There was one barista and one counter person in drive thru. I saw many groups of people seated inside lounging and enjoying each other's company. Seemed to be a lot of study groups of middle aged adults on this night. I miss the old location. If for no other reason than the service was much better. All I need is a cup of coffee: Maybe 3 baristas. Pay for it, cashier turns around and pours it. Done. New location: THREE TIMES the staff. (I've sometimes counted 9!) Go in, maybe get someone's attention, give your name, etc. etc. and then WAIT for someone to deliver your coffee. If you order a muffin? Well that comes from a different department, steps away. More wait time. The new machines slow things up; coffee tastes the same. How come they have 9 staff and only ONE cashier? On the bright side: Great place for retired folks to louge about. Very clean and nice decor. P.S. I'm thinking that the poor service is perhaps due to this location being chosen as "Starbucks U" I come back to practice my Turkish with the sweet Turkish "Kiz". We go to this Starbucks regularly. Today we ordered 4 venti drinks and they gave us 4 small straws. They got our order totally wrong, and made us wait at the drive through speaker for 10 minutes (with a line of cars behind us). If they weren't so close, we'd never return to this location. read more

Same plaza new building. Aesthetically the Starbucks looks great! Very big seating area. A couple tables have charging ports. The island in the middle does as well but isn't working. Bathroom was clean two stalls in the ladies room Parking was great big parking lot. No other business too close so good right now. As far as service you can order at the counter the cashier was nice and friendly. I ordered a matcha latte with vanilla cream foam And the bacon sandwich. The first attempt of the matcha was a fail. I went to the counter and expressed my concerns and it was re- made. The second was a bust. I have ordered this before at a different location and it was made perfectly. The sandwich was good. Overall the staff may need some more training on making the drinks here and they will succeed. Prob won't be back to this location until they have been opened for awhile. Its been awhile since I wrote a review but got to say that at 1445 on 11/30/25 I ordered drive thru and wanted to share this experience. I need to say something because I'm disabled and when I tried to reach to pay, this girl did not even care to stretch her arm. It made me feel so uncomfortable because my kids were in the backseat and I hate being vulnerable in front of them. I tried to make eye contact so hopefully she could see it was difficult to tap but she never looked my way. It surprised me that my kids noticed without me saying anything and asked me "is she mad?". She was obviously upset which you could feel through the speaker and see in person. I hope that whatever you're going through things get better. Happy Holidays. read more

Ordered my brown shaken espresso on line , walked in , no one greeted me . I walked straight to pick up area . Again no one greeted me . There were 7 employees around , not one checked to see if I was waiting for a drink . I left so disappointed without a drink , seven minutes and no coffee made and let me tell you it was not busy . I love my local Starbucks. Everyone is so cheerful and friendly, Maryanne is so cheerful and just a put smile on our faces. Ordered the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Latte and Iced black tea with Sugar Foam both drinks were great, tasty winter treat. Unfortunately, one of our drinks took a spill all over the table and floor as we were sitting. Moe came over and put up a wet floor sign and cleaned the area. He also offered to remake the drink. My OG small town go-to is still here after many years, although they have decided to upgrade and remodel with a drive-through. They plan to move to the next building over to accommodate all the drive-through traffic...Currently, some of the parking lot and road access to the shopping center that is also home to the famous Hans & Harry's, Graciela's Taco Shop, and Bonita Post Office is torn up and blocked off under construction. Somehow this makes me sad. I don't think progress is always a good thing. One thing I loved most about this Starbucks is that it has that small town look and feel. When they're done renovating, it will be just like any other Starbucks in any other city. Meh read more

This is the worst Starbucks store ever! I ordered one coffee here, and it took 30 minutes to make. The employees seem to struggle with their orders with customers while taking orders from drive-thru and seated customers. I came here at 5:25 and left at 5:57 pm. Went to this Starbucks earlier to order 3 drinks. All drinks were correct on the screen when asked if they were correct. Got to the window, got one drink (correct), waited a bit for the next drink which was made wrong. I said I had asked for it iced, MARIE at the window stated with an eye roll "Well I asked if your order was correct before you pulled up" and proceeded to close the door and walk away. It was correct on the screen but I'm sorry you or your coworkers can't read. If you're having a bad day or off day, don't say stuff to trigger customers and make yourself AND the company look bad. So, be ready for all the issues you have with robot customer service on the phone to be lived out in real time while a line of people is behind you. The interior looks like the grey McDonald's rebrand from 15 years ago, so I wouldn't exactly say it's new or fresh. if you are a Bonita local, I highly recommend switching to Better Buzz on Bonita Rd or to Jett's Espresso in the Lolita's parking lot: they support REAL PEOPLE baristas who LIVE in our community. read more

Saw this location on the way to the dog park at Rohr Park and remembered to stop by on the way out... parking is a little weird as the parking lot curves and the spots are a bit tight. There was a lot of cars but only saw a few people walk out and a couple people sitting outside, it wasn't until I had a handful of drinks and a puppacino that I noticed the inside was packed! There was about 5-6 tables outside with nice wicker style chairs. I was greeted upon entering and the baristas were super friendly and nice! Definitely a 5-Star service (when compared to other starbucks) and was able to use some free drink coupon from Starbucks new game easily and without a hitch. The inside of the store was clean and inviting. As it was still a bit muggy outside, the nice cool air conditioning was refreshing for the few minutes I was there... in and out which is the quickest service I've ever had at any starbee's location (aka Starbucks). It's really messy here. There are not a lot of options for seating. Parking lot is very small, and the pickup orders are never done on time. I have gone to this sb locations several times now... i am guessing that because of its location, it is not quite as busy as other locations.. employees here work fast and my order has always been made right. It is a bit small, but they do have a small area with tables inside as well as tables outside. Of course right now it is off limits due to covid. I have been pretty addicted to their strawberry acai for the past couple of years now, haha. It is a very nice and conveniently located shop and to my surprise visits, hardly find it crowded or over-crowded. Plenty of seating both inside and out. Parking space seemed not a lot, however there is always a free spot. Staff is very attentive and cordial. Outdoor seating area can use some lighting in the night. I had not had a Java Chip Frappe in quite a while so that was on my radar when I stopped in this Starbucks. I ordered the grande with a little bit of whipped cream with turned out to be a lot of whipped cream. Okay, they did place a single dollop of cream right in the center. I was a little disappointed with this particular Java Chip Frappe because it was quite watery. It did not have that thickness a good frappe offers. As a result, it melted down to its liquid form rather quickly. It did however comes with a good amount of those terrific and tasty Java Chips that were the highlight of the drink on this occasion.
