I went in and ordered a dozen of their original glazed donuts on 3/18/17 at 10am. The lady hands me a prepackaged dozen, I open it and the donuts are cold. Not even warm or room temperature. I asked for hot fresh donuts please, she responded " we don't serve hot donuts here" my mouth dropped. Ummmm last time I checked Krispy Kremes slogan is " Hot and fresh" I have never been to a Krispy Kreme where you don't at least get warm donuts let alone prepackaged cold donuts, its clearly just this location! I feel bad for the regulars around here who don't get hot fresh original glazed donuts, you are missing out on the concept of the donuts to begin with! We went into this Krispy Kreme last week and was greeted like normal but when I was ordering our donuts the lady seemed quite rude and was in a hurry to get us in and out of there. Every time we selected a donut she right away said you have 3 more or 2 more like we needed to hurry up because there were no customers behind us. After we selected our donuts we had a coupon for 5 dollars off , but the kid at the register didn't want to honor the coupon despite the manager showing him on the screen what code to put in. First of all the glass display is waaaay to close to the mouth of people serving the donuts, when they talk i saw some spit come out of one of the ladies. I visited this location yesterday around 7pm in hopes to buy 1 dozen of the original glazed donuts to take to my in-laws. After waiting after 3 customers in line and getting to the counter I was told that they were sold out. Everything was stocked on display except what I went there for. The store should've put up a sign on the door for customers to be aware and not waste time in line for nothing. The overall store was clean and well stocked with supplies & condiments. It was my turn and I placed my request and I was pleasantly surprised when the cashier offered their "Brew Box Combo" special. The combo required me to selected an assorted "baker's dozen." I wanted to make it simple so I requested ALL sugar glazed. (Oh em gee, I can already hear the sounds of my teeth crackling with all that sugar. hahaha!) They topped off a jug of "joe" and provided me a handful utensils, plates, napkins, cream and sugar. First time going to this Krispy Kreme. It is not the location where the donuts are made fresh. This location is a store where the donuts are delivered from the Clairemont store. The service was great. The staffs were able to help us even though they were not fully opened. The inside was very clean and there was no waiting in the morning. Great selection of glazed donuts. Hopefully, they can serve plain, no glazed donuts in the future. All in all, good place to get a dozen of donuts for about $11. Pricey and small, but convenient. read more

I called and was told to make an ONLINE ORDER 2 WEEKS AHEAD if i was going to make a "special order." That's what I did. I placed an order for 2 dozen mini donuts 2 weeks before my event. I'm annoyed at this point and tell him, "Why would you refund me the money WITHOUT notifying me, or contacting me at all? Because I wasn't aware of any of this. No email or anything." You tell me to order 2 weeks ahead, so you guys knew about my order even if you "THOUGHT" you guys were gonna be busy. WHICH YOU WERENT BUSY. Everyone knows what a KK donut should taste like, so I won't get into a lengthy food critique here. I'm loyal to Crispy's in Bonita but this KK is in a more convenient location to my house so I end up here fairly often to meet my BFF for a donut date. She brings her kids along and they always get a free mini donut from the workers, which is nice. The donuts aren't made fresh here, but they're fine. They've never run out of anything and the lines are never long. I like the donut combos and usually choose the one with two donuts and any size iced coffee for just over $3. This store once existed in New York City by my childhood neighborhood. It was a favorite donut spot of mine growing up, I'll always remember walking by smelling the heavenly scent of freshness goodness donuts! or coming in the mornings on my way to school to pick up a freshly made, warm glazed donut. I am really happy to know that Krispy Kreme donuts still exist here on the west coast because it's totally gone from where I'm from. The grocery store bought kind isn't the same as the actual store in my opinion. I ordered a chocolate chip glazed donut with a hazelnut ice coffee with soy milk. The chocolate chip frosting part was ok, I expected it to be sweet but it was bland. Though the donut had a lot of sweetness from the glaze, it sort of balanced it out I guess. I was sipping a lot of my ice coffee with the chocolate chip topping part. The donut itself though was nice and chewy and gooey in the middle which I enjoyed a lot. I should've just stuck to my favorite original glazed donut but this place had a lot of selections and the chocolate chip one really caught my attention. My daughter got the vanilla sprinkles and hubby glazed with cream inside. They enjoyed it and especially daughter fell in love with this place since she is a big donut fan. All and all we will be back of course since it's close to where my kids take karate classes. The man that helped us was very friendly and quick in making my ice coffee so really happy with that! I went tonight to order 10 dozen donuts for Monday morning, Valentine's Day at work. After standing in line for quiet some time I was told they wasn't taking any orders for advance pick up. I said "not even for 10 dozen?" I was rudely told "no, not for any amount". I guess they are so busy they don't need the business. The positive: the donuts they do have are yummy. The negative: I ordered a dozen online a day before I planned to pick it up. Selected the kind of donuts I wanted to fill the box (glazed creme filled) and got the online special to get a free dozen glazed with purchase of another dozen. When I went to pick it up, they were "out" of the free dozen glazed donuts that were clearly shown on my receipt. In addition, they were out of the creme filled donuts that I had preordered, so they filled the box with something else. Average Krispy Kreme location. Highly recommended. Nothing out of the ordinary. 1). Good donuts. I go here when the office craves donuts. I also go when I surprise the kids on weekend mornings. 2). Customer service. Average. Long lines but the team can process the orders and are equipped to handle large demands especially in the mornings. Today was busier than usual as it was pajama day at school and there were lots of moms and kids in line. - they messed up my order but they fixed it. The specialty donuts are now $15.99 per dozen which is too expensive if you ask me.
