First off, hours are incorrect for this location. It shows it closes at 9 pm and then there is a note saying the drive thru closes at 11 pm. We went through the drive thru right at 10 pm for a cup of coffee to help us on our drive back home an hour or so away. The girl asks us to hold on for a moment before ordering. A couple minutes later she says "oh sorry we are closed." It was 10:03 pm. "I thought you closed at 11 pm?" "No we close at 10." Then why did you tell us to wait? This location really needs to have training sessions for their employees. We LITERALLY stopped by 3 times just to be told that the "Hot and Ready" donuts would be ready, and then they aren't. As we get to the window they are about to charge my debit card one of the workers say "don't charge them, we don't have any hot and ready donuts after all." Like what? So after requesting they double check, they lied and still wasted our time by proceeding to take our order. So you are paying for workers to stand around playing games with customers time and it's unacceptable. Please review your process and procedures. The service here is always 100%. The manager is very nice & so his his staff. They are all so helpful and accommodate you no matter how many sweet donuts you need. No pressure at all. Don't believe all the negative reviews...I came in early this morning because I wanted to treat my coworkers to some donuts, a great way to start and tackle our Monday morning. I walked in and saw the place was clean, and saw all the workers busy at work. I looked on as the new donuts were rolling out on the conveyor belt, and saw all the donuts behind the glass case. I took my time and made my selection. The person who took my order and fulfilled it was friendly, and courteous. It wasn't what I was expecting based on the negative reviews I had previously read. Time right now is 5:40am on a Tuesday, which indicates that drive thru should have been open since 5am. Current situation: only 2 workers inside, store is dark, drive thru is blocked. I remember when this place was closed for about a year or two. Imagine the heartbreak I had originally felt because there's nothing like a fresh, and I mean fresh, glazed donut from Krispie Kreme. Now I've waited to review this after a couple of visits. I came here early in the morning, I've come here in the afternoon, and I've come right before closing. Service: Never ran into bad service whether I've gotten donuts inside or by drive thru. Everyone has been helpful. People are too the point. They've got great attitudes especially during the rush hours. Exterior/interior: MAN seeing that large sign of their name I get great flashbacks of early mornings surprising classmates with Krispy Kreme donuts. Super clean instead. Tons of eating inside and outside. I have encountered the one waste bin inside being full and not being changed until about ten minutes later after I request it to be. Restrooms: Have encountered no stall that did that the toilet liner or toilet paper. I have encountered times where there were tissue all over the floor. Donuts: $0.99 donut holes are such a blessing especially if you're lucky enough to catch them fresh. (note being able to see the donuts made is awesome) Chocolate donuts are okay here. This seems to be their least good one among all their locations. Maple is thick. Like that maple topping is slathering on top. Sugar donuts are not as sugary as one would hope. This location often won't take any coupons from "corporate". What is annoying is that the staff sometimes say they will, only to find out at the register that their machine will not. Other than that, this location has a bit underwhelming assortment of donuts (if you are able, go to the Daly City location if possible. Better assortment of donuts there). Minus a star. With that out of the way, they are Krispy Kreme's and they have been here for us during SIP and provide pickup and drive thru service. False advertisement and disappointing customer service. I ordered 40 boxes of 3 pack donuts as advertised on their website for my son's SIP drive by birthday party. I specifically ordered them because of the way they were packaged and tried to call on multiple occasions to confirm my order was set before pickup. No one answers the phone. Even on a random Wednesday where I can't imagine they are slammed. I took my chance and went to pick up my order today and was greeted by a young girl. When she brought my order out, I was surprised they were not boxed and I told her that this was not what I ordered and she rudely tells me it is and they don't have boxes and I can take it or leave it. I stayed calm and replied that per their website this was a 3 pack in a BOX. And she asks me if I want it or not and I said I need to speak with a manager. There is no argument that Krispy Kreme is one of a kind doughnut recipe. Even though it is a matter of preference it's not comparable. It's just different. I wouldn't eat it everyday nor more than once a month, but when I do have it I feel like I'm spoiling myself. I enjoy these doughnuts with black coffee! My visit to Krispy Kreme this evening was awful, but it could've been worse! At least I made it inside, unlike the many people who arrived after me, before posted closing time, and were not allowed in. As I was standing at the register, another employee walked up to the employee helping me and apparently instructed them to go lock the doors. The employee helping me said, I'm pretty sure those customers walking up want to come in. I asked-did they just tell you to lock the doors? As I glance at my watch, it's before closing time, and I confirm with the employee that they close at 9PM, the employee tell me-yes, but she wants me to lock the doors so I can start cleaning. Turns out, the other employee is the manager! It was before 8:30PM and I was the last customer they helped inside the store. They locked up the lobby and taped a paper on the entrance doors, directing everyone to the DRIVE-THRU ONLY! As I sat in the parking lot, trying the donuts, I was informing the swam of customers marching up to the entrance that they locked the doors and are not allowing anyone in. I barely buy Krispy Kreme donuts once every 3 or so years. This year, with my 4 y/o by my side, we splurged and got a bunch of premium fancy donuts along with the plain traditional ones. Turns out, the fancy ones are TERRIBLE! They were rock hard, and the taste was disgusting! And later that night my kid threw up all over me and the living room, and it was all the krispy kreme donut she ate.
