This Krispy Kreme location is conveniently located on-site at Mohegan Sun near the west entrance/exit to the Riverview Garage. This Krispy Kreme is one of three locations in New England, with the other two locations in Maine (Saco and Auburn). The doughnuts are made hot and fresh on the premises and it's usually busy all day and evening, especially when concerts let out with a long line. Krispy Kreme is one of my favorite national doughnut chains. There are also Krispy Kreme satellite kiosks located throughout the casino including in the Shops and near the east entrance/exit of Riverview Garage. When the light is on outside, they are making fresh doughnuts. The original glazed doughnut is my favorite, which are very soft and light doughy inside and covered with a good layer of frosted sugar glaze. I also enjoy the glazed fruit filled varieties, chocolate frosted, glazed chocolate cake, and chocolate iced custard filled doughnuts. I usually get the Double Dozen Deal to bring in to work, which is $17.99 for 2 dozen doughnuts (12 glazed and 12 assorted) and no meals tax added since I am buying multiple doughnuts. The Maine Krispy Kreme locations do not offer this double dozen deal and also add Maine sales tax, even on multiple doughnuts. This is why I prefer buying my hot & fresh Krispy Kreme doughnuts at Mohegan Sun or at the Northeast PA Krispy Kreme shops, where the doughnut prices seem fair. read more

Any review less than 5 stars must be from people visiting the less-turnover satellite store on the other end of the casino. Pro tip - head to the bakery section, preferably when they're hot off the line. It's eye-rolling good. There's always a rotating staff filling orders so the lines are short, and if you play literally any game from slots to poker for more than ten minutes you'll have enough comp points to cover the donuts and while you're at it pick up an official KK ceramic coffee mug. read more

It's open 24/7 so if you get your drunk on inside the casino you can soak some of that up right here...located right next to the entrance/exit of the Earth Casino. 1 dozen glazed will run you 9 bones plus tax, an assorted dozen runs you 10 plus tax. One bummer, last two times I've been here they've been cranking out the hot glazed jobbies and didn't offer me a freebie, which they typically do at other locations anytime you're buying a dozen plus. After a relaxing time at the pool and hot tub, this was the perfect snack to end my night. I ordered the small Ghirardelli hot chocolate ($2.79) and a chocolate glazed Kreme filled donut ($1.29). If you're like me and you like donuts filled with cream, SKIP the Kreme filled donut and get the custard filled one. The Kreme filled donut is basically whipped cream inside, which took away from the overall taste of the donut, in my opinion. The hot chocolate was amazing, and is the reason I'm giving this 4 stars. It was rich, creamy, and chocolatey. It also was the right temperature allowing you to drink it right away without burning your mouth. Don't tell the dentist you come here. All this way for a donut? Well if it's Krispy Kreme you know it. They're all over this state like DD and for good reason. No really I just told you they taste good (for a) reason. Unlike DD (I know you read my reviews on them) KK puts a glaze on like 99.9% of their donuts. Side note make sure to brush you teeth at least twice a day. The location I went too is Mohegan Sun. Don't ask me exactly where because there is about half a dozen Krispy Kreme's in this place. But I can say I went to one of the smaller ones because there only seems to be seating for 10 compared to the others. The donuts are baked fresh and I love the smell. Service could be better because where I went to it's was "what do you want" or "how many" no welcome or aloha spirt at all. I was there pretty late and maybe they were closing but if just came out as rude to me. Anyway, I got half a dozen assorted and happy with what the server gave me. Overall three stars. The main location where the donuts are made so go here! It is located along the Riverview Garage connector to Casino of the Earth. I saw food blogs about the limited edition carnival flavors and wanted to try them. I was puzzled why the Krispy Kreme app kept sending me to NYC for the donuts. Decided to go here anyway. It was busy. The line was fairly long for Sunday afternoon. The kicker was no limited editions flavors or the flavors (the cream filled rings) they had advertised on their signs. Boo. The usual flavors was available: glazed, chocolate sprinkles, blueberry, cinnamon apple filling, sugared, jelly filled and the Boston cream lookalike. Ironically I love all things coffee and donuts yet had never been to a Krispy Kreme until a few days ago. There are no locations in RI and every time I try to attempt this location at Mohegan Sun it's always jam packed. Went on a Thursday and was surprised to see it dead for once. I like how you can see the donuts being made and the whole storefront is very appealing. The case was loaded up with every variety..it was hard picking them out because they all looked so good!! We ended up getting a dozen assorted donuts and an iced coffee and everything was awesome. The coffee was spot on, equal quality to DD if not a little stronger even. The donuts were fantastic and super fresh. I liked how they had a counter with all extra sugar,napkins straws,stirrers etc. So you could fix up your coffee if need be. The entire store was super clean and the service was fast and friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable especially for being inside a casino. I really have no complaints with this KK whatsoever and I'm looking forward to another visit when I'm in the area!! :-) read more

This place is located right in front of the entrance of the summer garage and is one of at least two locations in the casino. My friend and I decided to stop by here after a concert and grab a half dozen for the road. Despite the long line the workers were attentive and worked through the line pretty fast. They were also all very friendly and the place looked clean. We got half a dozen of original glaze and two iced coffee with a shot of either vanilla or caramel. The coffee wasnt bad but it is definately on the sweeter side like Dunkin donuts. The donuts themselves weren't bad but I only tried the original glaze and can't really speak about the other donuts. read more

This is my favorite Krispy Kreme! It is constantly pumping out donuts so you know they are super fresh! Usually after a concert the lines can get long but the workers are so efficient that it usually takes only 15 minutes. The best part of this Krispy Kreme is that you can ask for your glaze donuts to be taken directly off their conveyer belt! Can't get fresher than that! First Impression: Located conveniently by the entrance next to the Casino of the Earth, you can faintly smell the fresh donuts being made as you approach. The assortment of donuts behind the glass was stocked full for a pleasing display to tempt consumers. They were advertising their cake batter donut, which I chose to forego as this was my first time trying the famous hot original glazed donut. The decor was modern with various vintage doughnut signs in a collage, a glass pane to view the donuts being made, a neon sign, and branded paper hats stacked in three rows along the outskirts of the restaurant for consumers to have. There was enough seating, but if a larger party or multiple parties were present, seating may be scarce. The employees were friendly and ready to serve! Highlight: Visible conveyor belt of freshly made glazed donuts. Hot Original Glazed Donut: Highlight: Warm Temperature Review: The yeast donut lived up to its name as the trademark donut of the Krispy Kreme franchise. It was warm, light and airy in texture with a sweet taste of the smooth glaze that evenly encircles it. Overall, the donut was perfectly sweet and stood out among the three donuts tasted for all the reasons I provided. A must-have if you come here! Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles: Highlight: Chocolate Icing, Glazed Review: The yeast donut itself was very typical, not dry, overly moist, or particularly airy - standard. Right! Not sure if I have Yelped for a KK or not yet so hate that I am giving one of our all time favorite chains a 1 Star but it sadly, must be done! Please do not let these two Krispy Kreme's here at the Mohegan Sun form your opinion if they are all you have tried. These two should be eliminated from the chain and should not be allowed to use that beautiful sign that usually stands for such high standards. Krispy Kremes are generally some of the best donuts around and usually always consistent. They appreciate their customers and reward their loyalty with generous rewards programs. Neither KK in the Mohegan Sun recognize the loyalty rewards programs and the little KK was flat out rude about it. So rude in fact, even though I was trying to be pleasant, that I left. The lady in the larger one was friendly but explained they do not participate as her boss said they didn't participate in any of the rewards programs. Fair enough. I was starting to get a bit more disappointed when they wouldn't accept my KK digital card that currently has $22.99 on it. The lady explained that the reason they couldn't do that either was because they 'weren't actually part of KK'. Still I endured. However, the straw that broke the Camel's back was when I purchased a donut anyway (needed a fix) and headed back to my reading chair to await my hubby, I found it was dried out and tasted old! If KK is known for anything it is their devotion to freshness! If you aren't used to KK - please WALK ON BY! I would hate to think these sawdust circles are going to be your founding impression. One word: ORGASMIC Never in my life have I tasted something so heavenly. I'm not a huge consumer of donuts in general but there are much better options overall. I've had Krispy Kreme a half dozen times in various locations over the years but my recent experience at the main/larger location at Mohegan Sun was by far the worst. The lack of ambiance was set upon our first approach. Seemingly judgmental looks being cast from the two young females behind the counter--not a welcoming feeling whatsover. Let me digress: people can say what they want about Chick-fil-A (closed on Sun; owner's religious views/affiliations; weird company name, etc.) but have you ever interacted with their employees who appear to be genuinely happy to be serving you (even if, inside, they're not)? Now picture the exact opposite. I don't know if it was a function of these two employees being disenchanted, disengaged, disillusioned or disinterested (or all of the dis's above), or perhaps they were simply having a bad day, but the fact remains that they delivered a sub-par customer experience. Then we get to the donuts: Holy Moly, those suckers were sweet! Because the donuts are on the smaller and softer side, the thick layer of glaze overtakes your entire mouth. If Type 2 Diabetes happens to be on your bucket list, those dough rings will be your HOV lane to the promised land. Coffee: tepid, weak and uninspiring. I should have gone with my gut and held off till I got to Starbucks. (Another side note: the coffee at Hash House A Go Go is fantastic: strong, bold and super hot.) Lastly, in spite of all this, I left a tip in their tip box while I was paying for this hot mess. Unacceptable service, DON'T even bother stopping by!!! Recently went in to grab a box, but what I didn't expect was for the manager to be extremely R A C I S T. I usually don't even leave a review, but I was so UNCOMFORTABLE just watching how workers were treated and the way that as a customer I wasn't even acknowledged when I came in. Due to this experience, I decided to not proceed with my purchase and will probably never return again. Your entire company is also reflected by the way management treats their staff - how am I supposed to be a returning customer if service was a NEGATIVE out of a scale of 10? Understandable that business wants to stay open during the holiday season, but not acceptable when only minorities were seen staffed during these times, isn't that questionable? I kept seeing/feeling "side eye glances" from the manager and the store was in such a hostile environment (the aura was screaming negative energy and radiating bad vibes with that encounter w the manager). Seen the way workers were mistreated (overworked even on Holidays & scheduling younger staff when I've seen at least three other managers here before - sounds like child labour) let's talk about poor management and abuse of power here. If you treat your workers poorly, then your management is just as guilty like your service. What can I say? It's Krispy Kreme! At one point in Connecticut we had a few locations, but have since lost all of the, except for the three location at the Mohegan sun casino in Uncasville. By far the best doughnut they have there is the chocolate iced creme filled doughnut. My lord it's just decadent and amazing sweet and delicious! On our way out we got a dozen doughnuts. Eight of those, and four birthday cake. I wasn't as impressed with this one, mind you it was good, but just not as good as my favorite creme filled one. At any rate, I'm sad that there isn't any KK shops in Connecticut anymore but on the other I'm happy because I think I might kill myself with these doughnuts if they were closer to me! So I'm really biased when it comes to Krispy Kreme. I grew up in Minnesota and whenever my dad brought them home, he'd bring all regular glazed and I'd grab one and throw it in the microwave for 20 seconds and eat the buttery, warm delight. The last place in CT I knew of that had Krispy Kreme vanished from the face of the earth. Didn't even know it still existed. So of course when I heard it was at Mohegan, it was a necessary stop. I've tried plenty of their flavors by now. My favorite is still the regular glazed because there really is no other like it. Chocolate glazed is a close second even though I know it's not as good as other places I've been to. But alas Krispy Kreme has a special place in my arteries, um, I mean heart. read more
