This Krispy Kreme Shop should shut down. How can you run a business when your credit card machine is down and then you're asked to order online if you don't have cash. Then the stupid App is not working . They should be giving out free donuts and a drink to every customer that is turned away. So my friend and I came here after a comedy show at the improv club in Ontario mills and I understand this place is a hot spot so by the time we got there the doors were closed but they have a 24/7 drive thru so we waited for about 20 min. And ordered but the car in front of us must've had some mistake on their order and they were dealing with it at the window for like 5 min. I'm sorry but they should've had the car pull into the parking lot to get their order correct and send it out to them while keeping the traffic going. They handled that situation poorly and when we went up they got our order completely wrong but luckily ours was an easy fix. Anyways. 5-28-2019 Tuesday at 9:29pm. I personally despise of eating donuts in any form but my wife loves 'em. She requested me to buy some Krispy cream on the way home. While in the store, I was having very bad customer service by the hispanic girl who picked the donuts for me (she was not the cashier). If you are the manager, you should roll back the surveillance to the time indicated above; I forgot to check her name badge (I was wearing hoody shirt and jeans). In split second, I caught her raising eyebrows at me because I sensed that she didn't like the way that I chose dozen assorted donuts; I needed 5 or 6 second interval between each selections or she could go to hxll. Night manager needs a new title or even a new job. Worst experience ever. I've never had anybody act so incredibly rude to me and all the other people in line. She did not want to give anybody their order. She forced everybody waiting to either cancel their order or get in line for the drive through when everyone in line had ordered pickup. Her answers to all of our questions were "I don't know" or "Don't ask me". Is she not the manager? Who else was supposed to know? When we asked to talk somebody who did know, she kept basically denying us service. I loved coming here but this experience was just the absolute worse. While my family and I were in line at the store, we saw a guy drop his box of doughnuts and all of them fell on the floor. He picked them all up and returned them to the cashier and got a new batch. After we completed our order, we received a box which we thought contained our doughnuts and drove an hour back home. When we got back, we discovered that we had received the box with the dropped doughnuts. While I know that this can be equated to human error, leaving a box of dirty doughnuts on the counter instead of throwing them away seems like quite the health issue. Went in for donuts with my kiddie crew of 4 after a basketball game. The donuts were old. I called and was told the oil is only changed weekly and apparently we were at the end of the week. I was informed that my name would be on a "list" and to go in at my convenience to retrieve new donuts. Almost a month later when Im in the area l, i go in and ask for a manager as I was instructed to do, immediately I am met with hostility and treated as i was there to "steal" $5.00 in donuts by the less than professional manager Nena Perez. Krispy Kreme and I have two things in common, we are both ADDICTIVE & DELICIOUS! Yes Honey we are! LOL! Where do I start? From the glazed to the filled, to the chocolates, to the sprinkles, to the custard & the new Key Lime, decisions, decisions!!!! Whenever I'm in the area I stop by a pick up at least a dozen Doughnuts. So this past weekend while I was @ Ontario Mills I had to stop by and get half a dozen of glazed & the other half mixed plus two new flavors this month which are both Key Lime. The Key Lime was OK but if it wasn't on the menu tomorrow I wouldn't miss it one bit, I just don't see myself popping another Key Lime into mouth anytime soon. I also ordered drinks, the new pink lemonade chiller for me & the hot chocolate chiller for my daughter, I prefer the hot chocolate chiller. How could anyone not like Krispy Kreme?! Their doughnuts are always soft and moist, they practically melt in your mouth! My favorite is the original glazed, but I also enjoy the chocolate iced glazed, New York cheesecake and the custard filled. I always try their seasonal doughnuts that come out throughout the year and I'm usually disappointed. I don't even know why I bother anymore. Although, the pumpkin doughnut during the fall is DEVINE! This location is open 24 hours, which is awesome. I always crave KK late at night. They also have a drive-thru to make life easier. Even when there is a long drive-thru line it seems to move pretty quickly. I do wish I had a KK closer to home, but maybe the far distance is for the best. I haven't seen an updated review in the last couple of years, and I think that the service has gone down "A BIT" from the last review. We had a large group of people come to KK for their tour, but was told that on holidays they didn't do them, but to still come in. Fine, no problem. We all get there and do our own mini-tour, watch the donuts, etc.- Mind you, it's a bunch of MOMS Club kids and moms out for a day of something to do to get the ya-yas out of the kids, we weren't expecting MUCH, just a hat and a donut for the kids. That is about all we got from KK. The service was really bad. First off, no one welcomed us at all, or ask about the large group, I went up to introduce the group and remind them that I called and they said to just come in. The first person I talked to didn't speak English- she referred me to a stern looking Manager who didn't crack a smile and said, "I told you we don't do tours on holidays!" I said that was fine, we were just wondering if the kids should line up for the donut, or ??? She said "Yeah, how many do you want?" Uh... fricken 50? I don't know! I mean, jeez, in this economy, shouldn't CUSTOMER SERVICE be #1 especially when you have a group of moms and kids who are also buying milk, more donuts and juice? It's not like we all went in there taking donuts and leaving. (Oh, and adults no longer get free donuts like back in the day when there were line ups for KK). As for the taste, I thought it was just okay. I swear, I think that the donut holes- cake style w/ sprinkles are better at Winchell's. My donut that I BOUGHT was the chocolate glazed w/ sprinkles. About 25% of it was hole- so that left a rather skimpy looking donut, which to me, seemed day old and cold. (No, it was not warm). So two stars for the donuts, maybe 1 for the effort of the person having to give the donuts out. The prices are too much too. Not doing that again! This evening (8pm 12-2-13) went to get a dozen assorted. I have not had a more disappointing dozen stale doughnuts from here ever. The quality was sub-par in line with a inferior "bad location" doughnut and liquor store on a sunday night... FOUND BAND-AID ON OUR DONUTS. GROSS! DISGUSTING!!!!!! Last week we came to buy a box of donuts with my aunt to surprise the girls at the salon and when I take a bite of my donut I find a band-aid... I don't LOVE these donuts, nor do I hate them. They're pretty good, of course you don't need to hear it from me because I'm sure you've all tried one sometime during the course of your life up to this point. I do find that watching those donuts fall into a vat of oil and getting fried and glazed on a conveyor belt is oodles of fun. Just as much fun as watching your car go through the car wash. Best thing about this place is that you can get your donuts in the drive thru. Because, of course, walking to the front door is just way too much exercise for a donut eater. This location sucks. I love Krispy Kreme for their speciality donuts, etc. The Ontario location is the only one anywhere near me and man is that a huge disappointment. Every single time there is a donut advertised, they never have it. I could understand if it was close to closing or even a few hours to close and they run out, but that is not the case. They run out mid day/afternoon. It's been the lemon glaze, the blueberry glaze, even the chocolate glazed that the Corporation spent so much money to promote and advertise. It's always a disappointing trip. The staff never seems to care either. You would think they would have a manager that could better estimate their volume, it doesn't take a genius to know you are gonna get blown out on something like the chocolate glazed that was highly promoted for weeks prior. I just went there recently to order an iced coffee and a donut but the kids in the front taking my order were so immature and rude. It makes me not want to go to this location because of them. I heard an employee say "no" to the guy taking my order at the window.. like mocking me in a high pitch tone... it almost sounded like a moan. Then after a few minutes they did it again. I've never received any bad customer service before. These kids don't know anything about customer service. When I started to drive away I heard all of them laughing at me. Why do they have to be so rude? I was still by the window waiting for my change and they were mocking me in front of the window. I checked the reviews to see if it was true and I was right. It said a few of the kids working there are rude and immature. I really tried to dismiss their rudeness but it ruined my day. One of them had long hair and the other one was short and fat. I don't come here too often because Krispy Kreme isn't the closest donut shop to my house, nor are they the cheapest. I only come here because they are the BEST. The only time that I ever actually have time to stop by this Krispy Kreme is the occasional saturday night when I get off work (which is less than 5 minutes away). I get there usually around a 1/2 hour to an hour before they close. And they are still making donuts at that time! There's still a small line too. Just goes to show how awesome and addicting those donuts are. I love it when I have been able to get the donuts just as they come off the conveyor belt. I actually timed it once... From the time the clerk took the donuts off the conveyor, put them in a box, and I paid for them, just a little over 1 minute had elapsed.
