I have come here twice in the past few months and my experiences were near identical: their inside area is inexplicably closed super early so they force everyone into the drive-thru, the service there is incredibly rude and slow, and you don't even get the filling in the donuts you are paying for. This location is not how I remembered it. Building was half lit up as if they didn't want any customers coming in... they were still open for 2 more hours. I went on a saturday evening and initially went to the drive thru but received no service after waiting a few minutes and attempting to talk. Then went inside and an employee came over that seemed upset that she had to put her phone down to help a customer. I asked if they had hot donuts and the employee stared at me for 10 seconds and then said "what you see is what you get". I couldn't believe the response from the employee and I had to hold back my own words. The display case was also disappointing with only a few donut options to choose from unlike what Krispy Kreme advertises. We got a couple mini's but the rest were crème filled and the only original they had were the mini's that didn't look fresh. They were literally out of 70% of the donut flavors. Krispy Kremes is always a good idea. We decided to pick up half a dozen on our returning leg of our road trip. We got the cake batter, pumpkin spice cheesecake, strawberry icing and original glazed donuts. They were delicious. I enjoyed the subtleness of the pumpkin spice. We enjoyed the coffee which is a nice balance of robust flavor with sugary sweetness of the donut. The location was clean. I've never been here when it's so bad. Even slammed with a line out the door, it's been great service, quick, with a smile. Today it was none of those. It was empty when mom and I walked in at 2pm for some strawberry glazed donuts she'd seen promoted online. They were out already but the woman who we asked about it walked off after we asked. A once treasured stop from childhood, this place has really gone downhill. I have to think that there's a regional manager trying to save money and it is impacting staffing level. I also think that there's a missing component of customer service training. Because this place used to be fantastic. And yet on repeated visits, I've found staff to be short tempered, impolite, and even inept. Today I had to come in from having been through the drive through. I told them they got my order wrong, ran off the order a few times, and they insisted what was in the box was correct, after swapping out a few donuts. I still felt like something was wrong, but I caught attitude from the woman behind the counter, who kept repeating what I said and insisting it was in the box. I left feeling stupid, as she intended, no doubt. I got home and told my mother what was in the box and she said, "Oh, well this and this one are missing." So despite coming in, despite the insistence from the person behind the counter, we still didn't get the order right. Between that and the increase in pricing, making a mixed dozen nearly $20, it's just not worth going here anymore. Just had the absolute worst experience at this location. I placed an order for 1pm pick up. When I placed the online order for a dozen there was a promotion for a dozen glazed for $2 if you purchase a dozen. I thought I added this to my cart. Upon arriving i checked the app and realized I did not. I asked the woman at the register if it was possible to add that now. She, as she was applying chapstick, said no. Ok fine, but gross to apply chapstick behind a service counter. I then waited for my 1pm dozen to be packed. Another young lady started to box my dozen one donut at a time. If customers came in she would stop and help them, sometimes 4 customers ordering multiple dozens. Still packing my box one donut at a time. At this point I was getting slightly irritated as Susie Chapstick was standing around goofing off with other employees while this young girl was clearly swamped. Finally Chapstick face comes over and asked very rudely, what do you need? I said I'm waiting for my 1pm pick up. (It's 1:05 now) she snaps at me, eyes bulging "well it's only 12:50 and it's her second day" I said no, it's actually 1:07 and I just want my order. I reckon you would have to be considering us sugar craving crazies that brave a winter storm to come out and get a fix of those sweet delights. Usually when I come here everything is 100% hot and fresh, I braved yesterday's snow storm to get a Holiday Mix but unfortunately they were already sold out of the cinnamon swirl and even though I asked for two Santa belly Donuts that was not to be. I was also disappointed that the two Ugly Sweater Donuts we're not filled with anything at all, they were just sad empty ugly sweater Donuts. So if your kids get A's on their report cards, they can get a free doughnut for each A up to six. We went yesterday and took my kids and their report cards. My daughter received straight A's so the nice gentleman gave her six free doughnuts. My son received a few Bs on his report card (We are proud of him and still love him!), however the nice gentleman only cared only about rewarding his accomplishment, gave him six free doughnuts, no questioned asked! Dessert and a show! Yes, at Krispy Kreme you get the "hole" shebang! I'm not going to sugarcoat my opinion, this place smells like heaven! I walked in and got a table, first of all, the restaurant was spotless. Secondly, the tables had wooden donuts inlaid in them and those iconic paper hats on every table. Adorbs! While I waited for my friend, I stood at the window and watched those hot, fresh, sugary delights travel down the conveyor belt. The waterfall of glaze had me mesmerized. Get in my belly! We ordered what else? Coffee and donuts! The service was great. Our server was pleasant, funny and efficient. They know not to rush you when choosing your treats, so many delicious options! The prices are fab, you may have enough money in your ashtray to pay for this dynamic duo! (Unless you get a dozen, which I highly recommend!) Did I mention they have a drive thru? The mini gift shop is cute! I never knew they had so many precious mugs and cups! At out table, we sipped and chatted and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
