Walking inside, the only donuts that were available were days old, when I asked when new donuts would be made, I was given a rude answer saying "we don't know." Then watching the employees working on the donut conveyor belt, no hairnets or beard nets were worn and literal sweat was dripping onto the machines. Obviously this is an extreme health code violation along with extremely rude service to a paying customer. This will get reported as a health code violation immediately. I highly suggest not eating here until management fixes the issue and fires all the employees, or closes down immediately until everything is cleaned and sanitized and retrain the employees. read more

WOW!! Again this location at Hwy92 and 575 is having issues. The Hot sign is on but when I go in I see a system that is in serious need to attention. Doughnuts getting stuck and burned! The burned bits making it into the glaze and on doughnuts that somehow make it through the gauntlet yet look far from appetizing. So I settle for an already made "Cold" one. NOPE!! Something is up with whoever is making your formula because the glaze is seeping into the doughnuts and not creating the nice crisp shell coating KK is known for. Dang! I thought I'd be the first to write a review. LOL They opened December 12, 2017. The first customers received free dozen of original glaze and the next 99 guest received free doughnuts for one year. What a deal! I needed to be late because I'd eat too many doughnuts and have to attend DA, doughnuts anonymous support group every week. I must say when I discovered this spot, which was only a week ago, I was elated. It's the first location in Cherokee County. I use to travel to Cobb Parkway, whenever I wanted a glazed doughnut. It's really the only one I'd eat. No more compromising; I can have the real deal glazed doughnuts . Dunkin Donuts is literally across the street. That's all I'll say about that. According to a few reviews apparently the customer service needs a bit of TLC. Honestly I've only been once thus far and I didn't experience any terrible customer service. Hopefully this problem will get iron out. Often times it's the case with new locations. They have to work out the kinks. However, there is never any excuse for poor customer service. The place looks great and the parking lot is easy to maneuver . My only gripe it isn't easily accessible. If you're traveling from 575 North then you can access with no problems. You'd make a right into the parking lot. If you're traveling from the opposite of the road, let's say you're coming from Downtown Woodstock, you'd have to pass Krispy Kreme and make a U turn. I usually avoid this place because of past experiences, I seen the sign advertising cinnamon roll Sundays only, since this is Sunday I thought id go there against my better judgement. So when get insid, after several minutes of standing at the register, a young lady comes and asked me if I wanted something. I said yes, I seen the sign and want to get some cinnamon rolls. She says we don't do that at this location, I said well you need to get someone out side to take down all of those signs and posters on the building. It's 7:30 in the morning Saturday May 6th, pull up to the drive thru, wait for 5 minutes before being told, "we're inside only right now." There was no sign, I had said, hello multiple times prior to being answered. So I pull around and park my car and walk inside. There is a person in front of me at the counter, no big deal. That person gets great service by the attentive, nice employee, and then that employee gets waved off by the manager, an older figure wearing a knitted beanie with a green pompom. The manager is clearly in a bad mood, and isn't afraid to let that leak out on any and everyone else around them. I begin to order, after being asked, "What you want?" with some attitude. I'll admit being taken off guard by the attitude I forgot to clarify that I was getting a dozen donuts, but then I get interrupted, "how many you getting?" I clarify a dozen and move on with ordering. For the last 3 of the dozen I say, "one lemon filled, two original glazed," the response I get is "one cream filled, two glazed." I clarify, "I'm sorry no, the lemon filled not cream." To which I get, "one lemon filled, one cream filled one glazed." Again I clarify, "no, sorry one Lemon filled, and two glazed." Again the manager tried to put a cream filled in the box. "No, I do not want cream, I want the lemon filled." The manager finally understands grabs it and tosses it in the box with a bit of sass as though I'd done something wrong or been rude, again leaking that bad attitude to the rest of their day. She hands the box off to the counter jockey who is a little quiet, which was of no issue. All in all the service and professionalism of the manager here is total trash. I get it it's early, all your employees probably called out cause they are hung over from Cinco de Mayo based on the few employees there wearing day old lash extensions half falling off, but the manager is supposed to be the one beacon of positivity on days like that. I was in the service industry for 4 and a half year, and had been promoted to management roles. It doesn't matter how hard it becomes, you are supposed to be the person to help the customer and lift up the team. Maybe I got you on a bad day, maybe it's been especially rough that morning, and I understand that. But I was in to get donuts to start my son's birthday off with a smile, and the rudeness and sass left a lasting impression on me for this store. As a recommendation, the next time you are short staffed, don't go inside the store only, people are willing to be lazy and wait in the drive through, hence why I waited 5 minutes prior to you tell me it was inside only. If you absolutely have to go inside only, put up a sign on the speaker. It takes just a few minutes to go into the office and type up a message and slap some tape on it to put it on the pole to avoid any confusion and irritation from a customer prospective, which may have also lead to less irritation on your end. read more

I'm updating my review based on my most recent experience which was today2/8/19. The hot sign was on so I figured that I would give it one more try. I went into the store, the guy that took my order was very nice and left a good impression. When I received my donuts they were hot!! I'm so glad they turned the customer service issues around. My original star rating was 1 today it's 4!! I will be back!! ;) Great job guys!! My family loves Krispy Kreme but this location is terrible. The customer service is awful and the employees lie about making fresh donuts. I went when they had the hot sign on but they had no fresh donuts and was told that they forgot to turn the sign off from that morning. I asked when they will make another hot batch three different times in one day. Each time I went, I was told when to come back for hot fresh donuts. We never got fresh donuts that day and because of the lying I won't be back. It's no wonder this place lacks customers. For a big company/corporation, it seems like there's room for improvement here with either basic customer service communication or manners in general. How disappointing. It may seem like a small detail, but a small, "Good morning, welcome how can I help you today, my pleasure" in place of a dismissive, "yeah, uh huh, no problem" would create a completely different customer experience. Just writing this I'm realizing I sound old and cranky, which I am not. I just know making customers feel valued and creating a positive experience brings a business loyal customers and lifelong supporters. I came in around Christmas to get a gift card and I was very impressed with the workers here. They were going through the long line very quickly. When it was my turn the worker was very friendly. This Krispy Kreme location just recently opened up a few months ago and I was so excited to have a KK close to my house! I've gone here a handful of times since it's opened and each time has been great. I typically only order regular glazed doughnuts, as those are my favorite, however I've also tried the chocolate covered Kreme filled, the glazed Kreme filled, and the Cake Batter doughnut. Every single doughnut I've had here has tasted amazing, which is what you'd expect from KK! I also once ordered their Frozen lemonade, which to be honest tasted a little odd to me, like something was off with the drink. But I ordered it free with a coupon so it wasn't much of a loss (I was mainly there for the doughnuts anyway). The service has been great and prompt each time I've gone. Today in particular, I decided to go inside instead of use the drive through. The employees were kind and patient as me and my mom took our time picking out which doughnuts we wanted in our dozen. My moms favorite is the blueberry, she absolutely raves about that doughnut! As we were waiting for the couple in front of us to check out with their order, another one of the employees came around and offered us some free samples of the doughnut bites, which were also delicious. I know reviews for this location haven't been great so far, and even though it's been great for me every time I've gone, I will say that I've never actually been at a time when they're slammed and the lines are super long. I've typically gone in the middle of the day when it's only me and a couple other customers in the store/drive through. But this is still going to be my go-to doughnut place from now on! Terrible customer service at this location. The employees obviously don't feel like working, hence the "closed" status on a Sunday even though the drive-thru is open 24hrs. The cashier, Tashayla, needs to focus on getting a job outside of customer service. She was rude and petty. When I tried to pay with credit card she claimed my card was denied. I was a little shocked so I pulled out cash and she just rolled her eyes. I called the credit card company on my way back home and they confirmed that not only was my account in good standing, but they had no record of any attempted transactions on the card. The Krispy Kreme Woodstock location is blowing it! If you come by around 6 pm you might get what you want in the drive thru but after 7 pm service and communication with customers is terrible. Regularly I have tried to drop in between 7 to 10 pm and found a huge line of customers in the drive thru. I wait in line, which does not even move for 30 to 50 minutes with nothing happening. I get out of the car and the manager says they are out of donuts! This is at 7 pm! Make more, you have a conveyor belt to make them you just have to put the dough in the machine. They actually have a manager who is allowing them to run out of donuts when huge lines outside and they are not even going to make anymore donuts at 7 pm for the rest of the night because the manager said they are out for TODAY! really this is not the sharpest person to be running your business if that is their answer. Second part of the problem. The line, if you are out of donuts and you know you have a line that wraps around the building twice get your ass up and go tell those customers in line you are out. Explain why you have a conveyor belt machine to make more donuts in about 30 minutes from scratch but you are not going to make any more because your the manager. At least let them know they are wasting their time and now stuck in the line with barriers to make it really hard to get out of line until the people behind and in front of you move. Third you need to be open 24 hours, or at least 6 am to 12 midnight. Along with that you need to make enough donuts to never run out based on your CURRENT Daily demand. Your planning for demand has been terrible and those running this place need to be replaced or shown the right way to do their job. Someone at Corporate needs to get their best leadership operations person to stay at the Woodstock location for the next 2 weeks to turn this place around. Now something nice to say...... Inside when they have donuts everyone is very nice, and the donuts are great! So the only issue at this location is not quality of product that is a 10, but service dealing with the drive thru, planning of production of donuts, and flow of business is hurting the "Experience", You cannot make a first impression after the first visit and you are not guaranteed a second shot at a customer especially after waiting in a very long line which eventually ends up being a line to no where because the manager is not going face to face with those in that drive thru line to say they have no product to sell.
