The dough on the pizza slices was undercooked. Requested red pepper flakes and parmesan and didn't get them. Contacted Grub Hub, and the restaurant refused a refund. The refund wouldn't have made a difference to my bank account (it was $8) but it's the principle of the matter and I spent my entire dinner hour waiting for Grubhub to resolve and the restaurant to refuse. We found this place on accident last year by accident on our yearly trip back from New England to our home in the DC area. My 15 year old searched for it to make sure it was the same place. Ordered several slices to try and a palmero pizza through door dash, They only delivered the slices (which weren't put in the oven). I called and they forgot to make the entire pizza... They made it and delivered themselves, only to have the rude driver yell from the bottom of my stairs, I guess he didn't feel like walking up stairs to deliver food they forgot. EXCELLENT. I've ordered pizza from here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Their Margherita pie is a personal favorite. I've never had an issue with customer service from here but my most recent encounter made my day. I placed an order over the phone (phone was picked up after 2 rings!) and the person I spoke to [unfortunately I didn't get his name :( ] was very friendly, patient, courteous, and helpful in answering my questions before I placed my order. Excellent and friendly customer service which is a HUGE deal to me in general but especially around NB where you have rude people answering the phone with attitude as if you're bothering them by giving them business . Bad customer service is enough to lose my business, no matter how good the food is. I have nothing negative to say except that they are a little on the pricey side, however for the delicious pizza and GREAT customer service, it's absolutely worth it! In the opinion of a philly area native, this is the only decent pizza in the area and the only place where people seem to know how to actually make Italian food. The pizza and pasta is fantastic for New Brunswick. The only downside is that it's pricey but you know what. The food was pretty good, but the employee who took my order mocked my voice after I told him what I wanted to eat. He repeated my order in a high pitched voice and it made me really uncomfortable knowing this was coming from a complete stranger. I doubt I would go here again since I might end up having him take my order again and he acts in a very rude and unprofessional manner just like in this scenario. Best pizza around Rutgers hands down! Kripsy brought Brooklyn quality pizza to Central Jersey, long overdue. I have tried many different types of slices (Plain, Margherita, Chicken Parm, Penne Vodka, Grandma, White, etc.) and they have all been delicious! In fact, I took 2 friends visiting from Florida here and they said it was the best pizza they ever had! Their dinners are also delicious and inexpensive. For a little over $8 you can get a Chicken Parm with your choice of pasta. Their penne vodka and aglio e olio are both very good but somewhat pricey (especially compared to the deal you get with the dinners). I have tried their Chicken Caesar salad which was fresh and good, but nothing extraordinary, though I do not expect a pizza place to specialize in salad, so it satisfies me when I am in the mood for it. They also have the new type of electronic soda dispenser that you can select what kind of drink you want on the touch screen which is appealing. While I mainly do takeout/delivery, the atmosphere in the place is nice, new and trendy and the place is clean. The staff is always very nice and funny and several of them have Brooklyn accents which is refreshing to hear as someone originally from Brooklyn. My only complaint is that I wish they offered some dessert, such as a cannoli. It would be the perfect pair to an already delicious dinner! This is my go to spot any time I'm in the mood for a simple Italian dinner or pizza. Love it! read more
