We had several thousand dollars worth of work done on our very old 2005 Dodge Durango. It needed a variety of things done the biggest ticket items being the air conditioning, along with many battery problems that once we got the vehicle back had not been corrected. The air conditioning items that had been installed lasted for 2 days. When we took our vehicle back the solution offered was to put a new ac compressor in which would be another 2+K$$$ I feel we were "taken to the cleaners". I'm so disappointed. We prefer to support local business but now my thoughts it shifted to buyer beware.

He came over this afternoon and was able to fix it even though nobody makes or sells that part anymore. He was great about communicating by text. He kept me in the loop the perfect amount, not spamming me with courtesy stuff, but also making sure I understood everything. It was nice to chat with him, but he also didn't need much attention. I didn't have to take any time off work and it was fixed for probably less money than it would have cost me to get it towed to a repair place.

Traveled to the Austin area to attend a family reunion and see our granddaughter. While here, our…read morecheck engine light came on in our F350. Had to find a diesel mechanic that was good, could fit us in, and wouldn't break the bank. Dependable Diesel was recommended to us by a fellow camper. Took our truck there. They diagnosed the issue as a bad DPF sensor along with finding a couple other items that would eventually cause us some issues if not addressed. Unfortunately, we only had the truck and the thought of being stranded at the shop all day waiting for my truck to be fixed was not good. Luckily, they had a loaner car that they offered to us. That was a life saver as we were about 20 miles from the shop. Needless to say, they were able to get my truck fixed in a couple of hours and were able to send us on our way.
