It's the 4th of July around 7pm and I just overheard one of your workers, Zachary, tell one of your bakers that he openly hates and dislikes Mexicans. I think he did it in front of what looked like a manager. (I don't know he was wearing a button up and was kind of heavyset) My half Hispanic Granddaughter looked at me in shock. She is now crying and asking why someone would hate people because of their ethnicity. I now have to explain racism to a child because of a conversation that should never have happened in a professional workplace. This is completely unacceptable and inappropriate I'm glad the baker told him to leave. Because of this experience, I will not be shopping here again. I ordered a cake for my 4 year old daughter's birthday party that was yesterday and the cake was HORRIBLE! It had soo much thick icing on it and was soo dry! I usually order my cales from Tom Thumb but their cake decorator was out sick. I called in the Cake order a day ahead and ask the Baker to please write happy 4th birthday Eliana on the cake, and she wanted a paw patrol birthday cake, with buttercream. I DO NOT recommend the Keller Kroger at Rufe Snow & 1709 nor Store manager, Raymond Trevino nor Kroger online customer service Supervisor, Monique I am a disabled senior who depends on senior transportation services for grocery runs. Rides must be placed two weeks in advance. Not feeling well the night before because of my illness, I ordered an online pickup order in the middle of the night. I picked up my order with transportation services. Arrived home to find my order, my two weeks worth of produce, most were severely spoiled. I immediately called Kroger & spoke to the manager, Raymond Trevino. I explained the situation & my upset for the carelessness of the store, produce manager & shopper of my order. Many were visually bad, soft, (including 3 frozen cucumbers) & spoiled fresh produce! Much was visually obvious through the packaging & individual hand picked items. I said I have pictures to send. He gave me his email address & I did, w my phone number to be updated on the new produce delivery. He said he would pick fresh items & have them delivered to me for free since I have no family near or way to come back to the store. I waited. He did NOT keep his word. He said this was the first time anyone ever complained about the produce there. He condescendingly ended the call by sarcastically saying "YOU have a blessed day!" After reading all the comments here, it's obvious, I am not their first complaint about this location. Raymond Trevino did NOT keep his word. At all. I never heard a word back! I called the Kroger company customer service, asked for a Supervisor. I spoke to Monique & explained again. She apologized & refunded me for my bad produce & said she would additionally credit my account to cover delivery cost so I may reorder & have them delivered to me. She also did NOT do this. I won't ever shop Keller Kroger at Rufe Snow & 1709 again. I wish Kroger home office would pay attention to these posts and do something about the stores giving them a very bad name. With so much grocery competition, hard to believe they don't care to lose customers. People in my situation can't get to the store to replenish my well needed produce. read more

This is the Kroger I almost exclusively shop at. It is a smaller one but can find pretty much everything I need at this one and have found the employees tend to me friendly & nice here compared to other Krogers. I typically do clicklist & pick up my order. I almost always have a good experience & they substitute with higher quality/quantity items if the item I requested was out of stock. The store is clean and well maintained. They have two self check out areas which is where I typically buy my items. read more

Honestly just tired of all the expired stuff they keep on the shelf's and in fridges, I get if it's a few days expired but I just bought some protein bars less than a month ago and they expired in March of 2024... that's over 9 months. Taking a star off for two reason: 1. No bicycle rack. I am riding my bike more, and it is sad how few large businesses in Keller have provided this little thing. To be fair, Tom Thumb does not have a bicycle rack either, but at least there are a couple non-rack options at Tom Thumb. Note: I did a little research and Keller, unlike Fort Worth, does not require businesses (of a certain size) to install bicycle racks. Still, some businesses have elected to do it anyways, so kudos the them. 2. Kroger did away with the senior discount on Kroger brand items. This really bummed my dad out. Almost every product in his cabinet was the Kroger store brand. Now to be fair, I think Kroger still has better prices than TT, but the shopping experience is not as nice. Bottom line: I did e-mail both Kroger and Tom Thumb about the lack of a bicycle rack. I may also see about getting it on the requirements list for new buildings/businesses. read more

I think it's interesting that walking to the nearby Kroger is an anomaly for those who do not understand the relevance of staying fit on an at least every other day basis that doesn't necessitate an unused (or rather non-used) gym membership. I'm glad that this Kroger is within walking distance where I can refresh my CSF and see how Keller has improved momentously. Have purchased yogurt products on two different occasions only to find out that they had expired. In one case, the yogurt had expired by a few months! Was able to return the products, but with no apologies and no sense that they took this violation seriously. My family and I will be shopping elsewhere. read more

Theres never enough lines open too. Also experienced rudeness from some of the employees. I dont come here for vegetables either, they are usually not in good quality. This is my favorite Kroger. Yes it isn't as huge as some, but also less busy and one of their employees, Jay is always there and extremely friendly and helpful. He really makes it feel like you're shopping with family. Needs to have health inspector check this place for health hazards. Management needs to be retrained or terminated. The majority of employees at the Keller location need training in customer service. You have to have a card for Kroger. Give them your personal information, receive a card to attach to your keychain, and then you will not be assessed an additional penalty on top of already high prices. I lived most of my 52 years in South Texas or West Texas. These areas don't have the stupid card penalty system like North Texas does. Actually, only a few in North Texas stores these days choose to penalize their customers if you don't have a card. Enter Kroger. Older store, been in and out of here since 2003. They've revamped it a time or two, but it is what it is people: an older Kroger that is a medium sized grocery store. The checkers are required to say in a chirpy fashion "you saved x amount of dollars today using your card." Ticks me off every time. I didn't save money, Kroger chose to not assess an additional penalty (serious) because I gave them my information so they can sell it to other businesses. Did I mention they will charge you extra money if you don't give them your personal information so they can sell it to other businesses? Not a fan of Kroger. Shame on you Kroger for assessing extra money on top of premium prices. Not a fan. I give Albertson's my business just for the principle that Albertson's got rid of their card penalty system a few years back. Well, now that Winco is around, I will go to Winco every tie. I was at the Pharmacy today at Kroger located at 976 Keller Parkway, Keller, TX 76248 I needed a Pharmacy consult regarding my husband who was burned by a propane gas grill last evening and needed help on what over the counter medication would be best. At the time, both Pharmacy consultants were busy with other customers. I waited for quite some time and then Nelda Freedland noticed I was needing help and called me over to her area where she was packaging prescriptions, answering phone, etc. She called the Pharmacist over who advised me on the best ointment to use for burns, etc. and said I should also get Aloe Vera. Nelda walked me to the area where that product was located and spent a great deal of time looking through the products available. I think Nelda is one of the most Courteous and Professional people I have ever dealt with at Kroger, and I do almost all of my shopping at Kroger. I shop at this Kroger at least twice a week. Great store with helpful employees. Never have any issues with produce or expired product.

This is one of the older Kroger locations in this market. There's nothing really wrong with it, but it's not snazzy like the Marketplace ones. If we need a few things and are in the area, we don't shy away from stopping in at this location, but if we're doing our weekly shopping or have non-grocery things on our list, we will travel to a Marketplace store in lieu of Walmart. The Marketplace stores have more options in the meats and seafood departments usually. For groceries in general, this is a classic Kroger and you can stop here and earn your gas points. read more

Horrible customer service. I had products not ring up at the sale price so I went in to get my refund. The older lady that came up to help me would not go behind the counter where there was a shield. I had to show her my receipt and she stood back unable to see the receipt. I told her which products and we walked around the store for her to see it herself. Although the signs were clearly right on the products she refused to give me a refund stating,"it won't be very much back." I guess $5+ is nothing to her. She stopped to talk to another employee who was not working at the time and then walked off from me. I'm sure there are some great employees who work there but she is not one of them. read more

Guy in the raw seafood department very stuffy - wearing dark sun glasses and a logo'd old baseball hat. He looks like he just came from a rock concert. Has a long dark beard and not wearing a beard net. Teased long hair over his shoulders. But his hair is all over as the cap cannot capture all of it. So I voiced a concern at the front with the customer service manager about health department code regarding pulling back and/or covering facial hair. The customer service managers first response was "well he's worked here a long time .." Really? I then cut her off and said I will not buy meat or seafood from here. I am probably not the only one. In the last ten days or so, during multiple visits, I can see staff all wearing masks and some both masks and gloves. This is good. However many many customers show up without any masks or gloves. Compared to other stores in the area this Kroger is noticeably worse. Kroger needs to put signs to remind people we are trying to fight an epidemic into the ground. Cooperation is a civic duty. If people don't cooperate, they should be reminded to by the staff. Ultimately, customers showing up with no mask and/or no gloves, shouldn't service just be denied??? The primary purpose of a mask is to protect other people from asymptomatic carriers. And to protect yourself. Does anybody think stopping the spread of Covid-19 is optional??? read more

I saw someones Kroger review a little while ago and was reminded of my experience the other day. First, I have to say that this is a pretty nice Kroger. It's clean, well-lit, and well-stocked. They generally have what I am looking for. The majority of the staff are friendly, too. So why am I giving this place a '2'? I guess because I'm turning into a crotchety old bitch who doesn't like wasting her hard-earned on mangled bread and produce! Here's what happened. I was in an exceptionally good mood that day. It was a nice, warm sunny day. I'd just gotten my Mustang washed and was groovin' to the tunes. I had a short list of items for Kroger and wandered in. Everything was great UNTIL I hit the checkout. There were 3 regular lines open. Two had people lined up waiting to check out. One had no one in line (I think that should have told me something), so I went where there was no line wondering what the problem was with all the other doofuses who'd rather wait. I pull up to the checkout and started unloading my cart. (I have to pause here and disclose that I am quite anal about how I organize my groceries on the belt - canned goods together, cold items together, produce together, cleaning supplies together, etc - not necessarily in that order. My theory is that they bagger might actually bag cold things together, canned goods together, cleaning supplies together, etc.). So anyway, I started to unload my cart when the cashier runs around and starts 'helping' me take things out of my cart. He's throwing them up on the belt in no order and things on top of things. I'm cringing. I politely say something like "Thanks, but I'll get it". He says he's happy to help. I don't want to make a scene or look totally like a butt so I say "Really, I'll get it. I'm kinda particular about grouping things for the bagger." He still doesn't get it. Cans are now on top of my bread and produce. I'm rearranging while he's STILL throwing stuff up there. Finally, he decides he's 'helped' enough and starts ringing up my stuff. Thankfully they have this great older Hispanic man who does an outstanding job bagging stuff. He's giving me an apologetic look while trying to sort through the mess. Now there's a backlog of stuff to be bagged (OK, I ended up buying more than what I had on my list) and the checker decides he's going to help bag! AHHHHHHH! He actually put my bread in a bag with canned goods! And this isn't a 17 year-old kid. He's like 50-something (MUCH older than me, anyway). So now I know why no one was in his line. It seems to be the practice at this store for the staff to help you unload your cart. And that's a great idea. Lots of people need help. I don't, but they don't know that. I've had other people there do a nice job unloading my cart, so it's not everyone who is clueless - apparently just this one guy. I thought about having a chat with the store manager, but decided to do it another time when I wouldn't look like some batty old broad (I'm normally quite pleasant and charming). Bottom line - the store and its content gets a '5'. Most of the staff gets a '4' or '5'. That one guy gets a zero. That probably averages to a '3', but I'm not feeling that generous, especially since now I'm riled up again thinking about Mr Dimwit and have to make myself a martini to calm down. Now before you start feeling sorry for my husband, the grocery thing is one of the very few events I get this anal about. Really! Well... read more

LOVE this store!! I have shopped here since I moved to Keller over 21 years ago. This store might not be the huge, fancy type (as the one in North Richland Hills, not far away) but whoever takes care of their purchasing does a GREAT job! I have never walked in this store and not come out with each and every item on my list! This store also doesn't HEAVILY stock their own "Kroger" brand (as the NRH location does) and always has a great selection on name brand products as well. I have probably been to this store more times than I'd like to remember. Their is no customer service and I've never seen more than TOPS 3 lanes open plus the self service during the busiest time of the day. It's crazy I've seen lines backed up all the way into the isles before. The produce is limited and the store is small. They need a remodeling and a good manager to get their ass in gear but as of now it is the WORST Kroger "Signature" I've ever been to. read more
