So I came here initially out of convenience since I live nearby. At first, I got a gel French manicure, came out pretty good however, the next day it all chipped off. I went in to get it fixed, but decided to do dip so I agreed to just pay for a whole new set & this is what I got.. (i attached the photo of what i showed the technician I wanted) The entire appointment I was asking the technician to fix a few things but she just kept saying she wasn't done yet. After she was finished, I voiced that I was not happy with how they came out, they were very lumpy, uneven, and not the shape that I wanted. The manager at the front desk said they didn't have time to fix it today to come back another day so I scheduled an appointment to fix it. A few days later I went to my scheduled appointment and the guy at the front desk looked at my nails, straight up gas lit me, and said there's nothing wrong with what the technician did, it's not lumpy, it's my actual nail (um what) and their policy is to only fix a few nails, not an entire set, so I would be charged for another full of set.. they even refused to take these off without charging me. The nail techs great. Always very sweet and nice. The front desk girl (Orion) apparently a manager, she really likes to pick and choose who she is friendly to. Walked in with my mother cause we had an appointment, last time we just had to tell the gentleman at the desk no number was put in. She got sassy when I went up to tell her we had an appointment, then proceeded to just snap "put your phone number in" uncalled for. Then I asked her if I needed to do it twice cause they technically were booked separately and in the most condescending tone says to me "no. Thats a good question though..." did not have us choose color did not show us where the color was. I want to make it clear THE NAILE TECHS THERE ARE AMAZING NICE FRIENDLY AND CONSISTENT WITH WORK AND DEMEANOR. This was the first time I've seen this front desk girl and it really frustrated me to see her going out of her way to be attentive to everyone else but it was like we were a dog with fleas wouldn't speak to us. Apologized to others who waited past their appointment time but not my mother who had to wait an extra 30 mins (did not mind waiting!!) but she made it very obvious going to other guests who were also waiting "I'm so sorry about the delay thank you for being patient" like are you kidding me? Are we invisible?? Giving others colors to look through, asking if they want drinks. She did not want anything to do with my mother and I. Our nail techs were the ones that asked if we wanted a beverage or anything. That front desk girl is not friendly with customer service and the way she talked to the staff too, you could tell they did not care for her demeanor. I heard her yelling at one of the techs during my appointment "what what is the problem??" "You were supposed to be there but *name* just went so i don't know now it's messed up" like as a customer I should not hear that. That needs to be dealt with privately it is unprofessional and it was in regard to two girls and you could tell they were even uncomfortable because it was obvious they were speaking about them. Like lack of managing, customer service, etc. only will return cause the people that actually are doing work and providing services are SWEET AND AMAZING, she needs to learn good customer service should apply to everyone, not just picking and choosing. You should look for a friendlier personality to great your guests. Someone consistent and not picking and choosing who she's nice to. Thank you to the amazing nail techs there, I've always seen them work so hard, be friendly to guests, and THEY make the atmosphere good. I appreciate their hard-work every time I go, especially since my tech went out of her way to fix a broken nail I didn't have! That just made me feel so taken care of! I was having an incredibly bad day and called to see if I could make a same day appointment. Orien was so amazing! She asked me what I wanted and said that she knew exactly who to schedule me with and that she would have a mimosa ready for me. Cadie did my fill and gave me beautiful black stiletto French tip acrylics! 100/10 would go there again! The salon is big, beautiful, and clean. I arrived for my appointment and got seated fairly quickly. The nail tech that sat down barely said hi and got started on GelX. I think she was one of the owners? But not a great first impression. I really wanted to like it because I heard other good things but 3 out of my ten nails were placed crookedly on my finger. You can see very clearly in the pictures I posted. She messed up after curing a nail and had to take it off my natural nail but she was not very gentle so it hurt quite a bit. Don't think I'll be returning, which is sad because it's close by. Nice vibe inside and other nail techs seemed to be much friendlier. read more

Love Kroma, Flan is fabulous as well as the receptionist, always bubbly and inviting.

Great location in close proximity to where I live. Very clean and neat. I love the ability to make an appointment online, however, both times I made my appointments, when I showed up, my person wasn't ready for me. On my last visit, I ended up having my service performed by another technician. I think it would be good if they could dial this in better. According to the front desk girl, she said sometimes the clients ask for more services (extensive nail art, etc). When you are allowing reservations online, you should do everything possible to accommodate the appointments, or what's the use in offering online scheduling. read more

Sam at Kroma Nail Bar is great. He showed me how to work the massage chair something I never had anyone do before. I've been getting my feet done for 30yrs. He offered me a complimentary drink. Sam did my pedicure and was very attentive and personable! He took his time and made my first experience here worth the price of the Silver Pedicure. The quality here is always great, and i know salons get busy especially during prom season, but if you can't keep my appointment, just don't set my appointment. I made a 4:00p appointment for a basic pedicure, and was not seen until 4:42p. I had a workout class at 5:15p sharp (hence the appointment) and had to switch my pedicure to a color change last minute to save time. I rushed over to the salon from work so i could be on time on my end (admittedly, i was 4 minutes late), but a call alerting me they were running 40 min. behind would have been appreciated. I was so shocked by the price I asked her two more times, saying for everything it is $47 for me and $37 for her so $84 total? The lady told me yes. So absolutely I was so happy and told them we wanted the service for both then instead of just my daughter since it's within my budget. Well afterwards they gave me the slips and all together my total was $144.00. I was shocked and asked the receptionist if there is some mistake since the owner told me $47 and $37 total. The receptionist was super rude to me and told me This is why I shouldn't speak to the staff because they only know Vietnamese and that is why she is the receptionist there and that it is my fault for not speaking to her because she knows English and the owner does not. I kindly asked to speak to the guy owner and I explained the situation to him. I have been to this establishment 5 different times and he has personally done my nails so I expected him to be understanding and instead he looked upset and told me that price doesn't even make sense because then we would be loosing money. I told him his wife was the one who told me the price and he said no we wouldn't charge that, we would loose money. He didn't honor the price the other OWNER gave me prior to the service, didn't ask his wife and still told me to pay. I was trying to not cry because I didn't want to ruin my daughters birthday, I am on a very tight budget and I wouldn't have done my nails with her knowing it was going to be $144 instead of $84. I went home crying and will never return again. Yes I know we don't have to get our nails done. There's no option for 6 stars, but Kroma deserves it. I can't recommend this place enough - I broke a nail that I'd had done a couple weeks ago, and they fixed it free of charge. That might be standard practice, but I was in and out of there in 15 minutes, and they were SO nice. Good leadership, good management, friendly people. And my nails look fabulous! read more

My mom and I absolutely LOVE this place after switching over once they opened! We are very picky about the quality of our nails and so many of the staff members we have gone to here have made sure the style is exactly how we want and have done amazing work.
