We shared a pizza that was half bacon marmalade and half supreme. It was tasty. Brewmaster looked tasty but no one gave me a taste. Hubs liked his wings but they were massive! He couldn't eat all of them. Now to dessert and pieces of heaven. The key lime pie was totally from scratch and was absolutely lovely. The crust was about 1/2" thick and melt in your mouth delicious. This pie was something that I will return for on its own merits. The pecan pie on a cinnamon roll crust was divine. Plenty of sweet with a hint of salt and cinnamon was a fantastic combination. The apple pie with beer ice cream was for sure a different taste. Quite a surprise in this little jewel of a joint. read more

#1 staff was so friendly! They had toys for our kids to play with off to the side which is amazing to keep kids from getting fussy while waiting for food. The atmosphere is very chill during the day. The bar is cool and separated from the main dining area so again nice for families still. The "bad*ss nachos" 10/10 SOOOOO GOOOOOD shared between 3 people and we were stuffed! We were a little sad we weren't more hungry after seeing the burgers and onion rings passing by to other tables. The pepperoni pizza was decent; pretty greasy but good pizza. With so many pizza options I would hope for a good house made ranch but it was your typically tangy store bought ranch; but that's just being picky haha. The atmosphere is high energy during the mid-day, fairly loud in the main part of the building, around the bar;But in the back two rooms of the restaurant it seemed much quieter. Conversation is minimized in the louder area. The service was slow to begin with at the bar, but once we had the attention of the waitstaff, it was really good. And several different people checked on us very regularly. We had some special needs related to significant food allergies, and our waitress took special care of addressing those concerns! Love this place to unwind. I frequent Krootz about once a week. I drop in for 2 beers, typically, during day hours. The brews are fabulous and the wines offered are local. The staff is welcoming and works hard. The cooks are phenomenal and I haven't been disappointed yet in anything I've ordered. (I've yet to order the same food item twice!) They have corn hole and billiards. Check the website or city calendar for Karaoke, live music, and painting venues. I'm not a huge fan of country or 70s rock, which plays on video - would like a more upbeat vibe, music-wise, but the rest of the bar is cozy, welcoming and personable. I can't say enough for the owner and his daughter. They are attentive and will ensure your experience is enjoyable. read more

We're here visiting from Dallas. This place was a welcome surprise in a small town. It's just a short drive south of Winstar and even closer to our hotel. The staff has been polite and attentive. They have a small menu (1 burger) but it looks massive and fresh (but we didn't try it). I got their Easy Money, which is their summer shady made with lemonade and it's delicious. Tastes just like summer and is low in alcohol - perfect for hot days. Another favorite of mine is their BT Justice. It tastes like carbonated chocolate milk! When we first arrived, the location looked a little sketchy but once inside, the atmosphere was great! The waitstaff was super attentive and was able to answer any questions that we had about the menu. It wasn't overly busy when we were there and the waitstaff was almost too attentive. There were several different people waiting on us as well so we weren't sure who our tip was actually going to at the end. The food was delicious and there was a lot of variety on the menu. The only thing we didn't like was how everything was nickel and dimed on the menu. For example, on a burger, we were charged extra because of choosing pepperjack cheese and charged extra for a type of bun that we were never asked about. Usually waitstaff lets you know what costs extra- wasn't the case today. I get the added grilled onions and bacon, but not a bun and cheese! I would go again, but just be super conscious of what is going to cost extra that may or may not be noted on the menu. read more

Thought it was under all the toppings which it was but only maybe about 1/4- 1/3 of a cup at best. Hamburgers were cooked perfectly to order, and tasty. Staff was very friendly, could have been more attentive as we ran of drinks, which for me a no no, especially given that they were slow and she walked by a few times when they were empty. From the street, the building looks plain but open the door and you step into a pretty little bar. I'm not a beer drinker but did try the Lake Trash and it was an easy beer to drink.
