Small Thai eatery with an equally small parking lot. The restaurant seemed like it was more catered to take out, as they only had a few tables and our group of 5 already couldn't fit anywhere. We got Thai tea, spring rolls, todman, tom yum soup, wild boar basil, massaman curry, pad woon sen, and duck choo chee. my colleagues always mentioned an amazing hole in the wall thai place in natick. after finally trying it today, i completely agree. the place is small but very clean and fairly easily accommodated our group of 5 with a few other parties dining at the same time. most of the group went for the lunch specials, with a list of about 15 dishes and a choice of two sides and all under $10. my favorite thai food is tom sum (papaya salad) so i had to go with this and a tom yum soup. both were so good, the papaya salad was extremely fresh and crunchy, with perfectly poached shrimp (and good sized ones!), fresh tomatoes, and crispy green beans. it had just the right level of heat to balance out the fruits. the soup was light, hot, and slightly spicy, and i was glad that i opted for the tofu to balance the mushrooms and add savory flavor. we also got tod mun apps and spring rolls, these were great too. definitely recommend using the hot chili sauce, it's spicy but very flavorful too. read more

I was very excited to try this place. However, the food itself was of mediocre takeout quality. Mostly, it was very greasy. I went with the pad Thai because this is my favorite standard go to dish, but I've really had a lot better. Overall, the food was a two star. The food's good, though the grapao/garpow is too sweet in my opinion and pork isn't an option. Luckily for them it's not like there's other real options in the area. One of the best Thai places in MA! I love Thai food, but recently we moved away from Brookline, and we have been missing our favorite place, Khao Sarn. None of the Thai food in Needham is any good, and the places we tried in Newton weren't great either. However, tonight we tried Krua Thai after doing some shopping at the Natick Mall and it was fantastic! The chicken dumpings were topped with just a little bit of scallions and sesame seeds and were delicious. The Pad Kee Mao, my favorite Thai dish, was the best I've had in years. The string beans and onions were perfectly cooked, just enough to still add a nice crunch, and the sauce was also the right amount of savory, sweet and spicy. We asked for the Pad Kee Mao to be mild, something we've tried to do at other places and it was either still crazy spicy or flavorless. This was perfect, just a little bite and bursting with flavor. The last thing we always get to compare Thai places was the Pad Thai, which was also so delicious, the noodles were moist and it was exactly what you expect from a Pad Thai. The prices were very reasonable, cheaper than Khao Sarn in Brookline. We will be making this a regular stop from now on, now that we have discovered it as a secret. read more

This has been our go to Thai restaurant for about 3 years. Very consistent flavors and prompt service. My favorite meals are the Pad Thai or the Masaman Curry. My husband is a big fan of the Pad See You. All the different rolls are so good (summer, fresh shrimp, ect) and we usually get an order of those as an appetizer. For takeout, the wait time is only ever like 15-20, which is awesome for a busy weeknight. The actual restaurant is super tiny. We've never eaten in (always get it to go) but there are typically one or two parties eating there when I go to pick up my food. This is definitely Natick's favorite Thai place. read more

For Thai take-out, this is our favorite place in the area! The food is fresh, and tasty also entree portions are generous. We love their green curry (w chicken or veg), their special house fried rice, the Gra-prow and we recently tried the red curry which was also delicious! They home deliver for a nominal charge, which is a big plus... But remember to tip the delivery guy or they might reject delivery to you next time. If they spruced up their interiors, (redo the flooring, a simple paint job and some simple decorative upgrades) it could be a welcome place to sit down too! Give it a try for take-out. read more

The food was some of the best I've had! I called for lunch pick up for five orders, and they repeated the order back to me and told me 20 minutes. I got there at 20 minutes and waited for 5 more, but no big deal in the long run. I got back to the office, doled out lunch, and everyone was extremely pleased. Haven't had Thai food is years. Hubby and I were actually looking for a different Chinese restaurant when we saw Krua Thai and thought why not? We ordered chicken yellow curry, pad Thai, spring rolls, dumplings and beef satay. The curry was delicious, subtly sweet and mildly spicy with fresh vegetables. Delicious! Pad Thai was also delicious with obviously fresh shrimp (not at all fishy!). Hubby enjoyed the dumplings, spring rolls and beef satay. He said the peanut sauce was great, not overpowering. We LOVE Krua Thai! And we eat a LOT of Asian food... Fresh, as spicy/or not as you'd like it, and they're always happy to accommodate special requests (more of this, less of that). We especially like Pad See Ew, and the Pineapple Fried Rice, which we ask to sub Mango.and Yellow Curry... When we ask for extra spicy - watch out -it is! Friendly people, always ready on time. I usually visit Amarin in Wellesley but thought I'd give Krua Thai a try. I was pleasantly surprised and think I'll go here now for takeout instead of Amarin. The pad thai was a bit sweeter than I'm used to but I found it to be very good. The fried rice we got was also above average and I'd order it again. I wouldn't recommend eating in here, as the ambiance is lacking a bit and it's pretty small. read more

First time there had the mango duck, spring rolls, and teriyaki beef skewers. Delicious (except I had forgotten how much I disliked peanut sauce which was with the skewers). Sure, I'd like a little more duck too, but what I got was really good. Five stars. Second trip had the beef pad see ew. Also delicious. Still five stars. Third trip, pad Thai. Really good, but just a solid four stars. (At this point I think I've found a consistently awesome Thai place. At this point I'm wrong.) Fourth trip was back to the beef pad see ew that I know to be good. Wasn't at all. Beef was chewy and lacked that delicious sear, noodles were clumpy and pasty, and everything was just off. If I had gotten this on my first visit, it would have been my only visit. Two stars and that's being overly generous. I'm currently walking there now to try to find out which of my visits was the fluke, and which was the norm. The test dish will be beef pad kee mao. Stay tuned. read more

Extensive menu, extremely fresh and colorful ingredients, no one in our party of 5 even ordered the pad Thai there was so much tip choose from! This was my favorite food when we lived in Natick MA. When I was pregnant I ate there so many times it's not even real. I wld get these crazy pad Thai cravings and would dig in all the time. Plus their portions are huge so it really helped my insatiable appetite. Now that we have moved out west, I have yet to come across one such Thai place tht offers even half as good of a pad Thai dish tht ideally, Evey Thai restaurant should be really good at.
