    Krab platter
    Jess O.

I ordered the following: * Krab platter with Cajun, Old Bay, and lemon pepper seasoned butter. Includes 2 crab clusters, potatoes, 1 corn, 1 sausage, and 1 egg: $39.99 * Krab and shrimp platter (same seasoning)- includes everything in the krab platter plus 10-12 shrimp: $49.99 * Extra crab cluster: $16.99 * Two piña coladas: $18.50 each The good: The seasoning with the butter was very flavorful and enjoyable. The platters come with plenty of potatoes, so you'll definitely leave full. The servings come out in a styrofoam container lined with aluminum foil so you can easily take leftovers home. The piña coladas were very large and surprisingly good for being machine-made. The service really stood out -- we were offered help when ordering and were checked on throughout the meal to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I enjoyed my food and the experience. Some areas that could use a little improvement: 1. The krab legs were slightly overcooked, which made them a bit dry and harder to get the meat out. 2. There is an additional $1 charge per extra seasoning, which wasn't mentioned when we ordered. A quick heads-up about this would help avoid any surprise charges. 3. I didn't see the price of the piña coladas listed on the overhead menu, so including drink prices more clearly would be helpful. Overall: The flavors were there, and we had a good experience. Just keep in mind that the total can add up quickly-- our bill came to $162 before tip.

Service- 5/5 Friendly and welcoming As a tourist from California, I've noticed service is a bit different here but not in a positive or negative way just a different vibe Ambiance- 4/5 Super casual Can eat there or get it to go Love that they offer plastic gloves and plenty of paper towels Wish they had bibs! Food- 5/5 Portions and quality are pretty good for the price I got sides of crab cluster, boiled shrimp and corn with the original sauce. Note- delicious and flavorful but 5x too much sauce/butter for me personally but I think it'd just because I don't eat seafood that style much Loved that they gave both the normal cracker and a little scissor! Wish they served wine by the glass (but I was so messy idk how I'd touch the glass haha) Overall- I highly recommend! Great casual dining spot for seafood lovers. Maybe don't go on a first date- it's a bit awkward and messy!

this was actually a order that I placed on DoorDash for pick up and for less than $20. I got two crab claws, potatoes, soaked in the buttery lemon pepper sauce a sausage link corn, and an egg when I say this is one of the best $20 I've ever spent. I got the bang for my buck I was in and out with quick service. I really didn't have to talk to anybody and I was back to work within my allotted hour no complaints. I will definitely be back.

What a delicious meal! Take a friend or 6 they can seat you. They talked us through the menu and their favorites. We did the Seaside Platter with a side order fish. Lots of sharing ! The fish was the star of the show. But everything was excellent. If you like sweet definitely try the red velvet waffle!

Stopped by Krustaceans Seafood and tried the fried fish and shrimp plate--wow, I was not expecting that much food! The portions were generous, piled high with crispy golden fish and perfectly seasoned shrimp. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. What stood out just as much as the food was the service. The owner came by to check on me and was so kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they really care about their customers and the experience they create. If you're hungry and craving seafood that hits the spot, this is the place. Great food, warm hospitality, and a plate big enough to feed you twice. I'll definitely be coming back!

The food here was very tasty and flavorful. I ordered both the Krab platter with lemon pepper sauce and the shrimp platter with garlic parmesan sauce. Both were delicious, but the lemon pepper sauce really stood out with the perfect balance of zest and buttery flavor that made the krab legs shine. The service was excellent with our server checking on us multiple times throughout the meal, making sure everything was going well. The restaurant itself is clean and well maintained, with a casual and welcoming atmosphere. My only complaint would be the amount of potatoes they include with their boils. Even considering that I ordered the lunch special, the ratio of potatoes to seafood was definitely off. It felt like I got more carbs than protein. I've been to plenty of seafood boil spots, and this one by far had the most potatoes in the mix. Might as well call it a potato boil.

I saw Krustaceans on Tiktok and I had to go. The food and drink were awesome! In fact, I ate there two days in a row. The staff were attentive and helpful. The dining area was clean and well stocked with everything you needed to compliment your meal. I had the Hurricane, Bayside Platter, Red Velvet Waffle and the Fried Fish & Chips with seasoned fries. This food was outrageously delicious!!! Hats off to the owner and staff.

Not in a million years would I have expected to find a seafood boil this good at the end of a nondescript strip mall....in Nashville. Florida? Sure, I'll give you that one. NoLo? Of course. Suburban Nashville? Come on. We just flew into BNA and were hungry and tired. Really, really tired. Lent had started this week meaning no meat on Friday and besides, it was 5PM on a Friday - heading south on 65 was going to be a nightmare. I opened Yelp, chose a seafood restaurant near the airport with a high rating and a lower price point and finally landed at Krustaceans. Krustaceans was I little harder to find than it should have been. It's at the very far end of the Publix shopping center, tucked next to Rock and Roll Sushi. Since I'm directionally challenged just know that it's way to the left and almost around the corner when you look from the street. We walked in at dinnertime to find a line at the counter about 5 deep. That was good - it gave us time to look around and to see what other people were eating. The place is small and busy but they were able to accommodate everyone. The menu is hung above the register- fish and chips, shrimp and chips, fish shrimp and and so on. THEN you get to the platters. The 10 piece shrimp platter is about $25. And it goes up up up from there. I'm just going to jump to our platter. I ordered the krab, shrimp and lobster platter. I choose old bay as my butter. I paid ($62) and sat down at a little table in the corner. (If you're a large party - bigger than 6 people, don't even consider eating in). In under 10 minutes we were served a large styrofoam to-go box the was overflowing with a large crab cluster, bunches of peeled and deveined shrimp, boiled potatoes, half piece of corn on the cob, a hard boiled egg (??), a large sausage link AND a smallish lobster tail all sitting in basically a big bowl of butter. The platter was meant for one person, but we split it and probably couldn't have gone much larger. We finished, scrubbed the grease from our hands and drove the 100 miles back to sweet home Alabama. Do give Krustaceans a try - it was delicious. If placed side by side with the same thing on the beach in Panama City, of course PC will be the winner. But, in the middle of Nashville, not far from the airport, 450 miles away from the nearest ocean breeze and on a late winter night, Krustaceans hit it out of the ballpark. In six days, we got in some grandbaby time, did some touristy stuff, finished celebrating our family Christmas, celebrated my birthday, evacuated our hotel because of a wildfire, spent most of the trip trying to unravel the damage a scammer caused for my 85 year old dad and caught a virus that I'm still fighting two weeks later. But just getting to rock and sing our granddaughters to sleep was worth every little bit of it.

I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day 2026. It was really busy and I waited about an hour and a half for food. The food was just ok, coming from ATL/LA I've had better. I don't think I would go back.

I chose all sauce combine together. The flavors hits! Waaay better than the other place I tried. Service was excellent even when I ordered Togo. Plenty of food. I would recommend this place!!

I loved this spot small and cutesy has tables plus booths. Enjoyed the smooth R&B playing in the background. The cashier was very pleasant I ordered my food then when to the condiments table for what I needed loved the big variety of hot sauces, tartar sauce, ketchup etc whatever you need. My food was delicious not too hard still had a crisp and not over seasoned just how I like it! Would definitely recommend

I agree it was cooked more than it should have been. Colorful though.... I had the Steak Frites. Man.... That was disappointing. I feel duped. Normally this dish is like a nice hangar steak with fresh cut fries and a fresh chimichuri sauce. What I got were overcooked steak nuggets, with cold, frozen out of a bag fries, and a glob of C sauce out of a bucket it seemed. I'll likely be drug back here by my friend. He likes it. The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.

I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!

Our server (I believe his name was Mitch) was phenomenal! We started off with the guava girlies, anti-hero, tan lines and good times - our favorites were the guava girlies and the anti- hero. The tan lines didn't have a deep enough flavor profile for us. For food, we got the Caesar salad, the green beans, the tuna crispy rice, the hurricane fries, charred scallion noodles, and burnt end lettuce wraps! Every dish was a hit but our favorites were the green beans (we were obsessed with the sauce) and the burnt end lettuce wraps. We also tried the lipstick marks, second hand smoke (sub mezcal with regular tequila), and guava girlies with tequila - all of these were also delicious! Despite being full, we had to try the dessert and tried the brookie with ube ice cream. We were also surprised with a scoop of pandan ice cream. This may be one of the most unique flavor profiles for a brookie I've ever had and it paired beautifully with the ube and pandan gelato! By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.
