On Friday, we ordered a half-and-half pizza (Gourmet Veggie and Pav Bhaji). We've been here numerous times, and while the quality has always been average, it was usually still edible. This time, however, the Pav Bhaji pizza was noticeably sour and completely inedible. We called the restaurant immediately to let them know. We spoke with the manager, Jacob, and requested that he taste the Pav Bhaji masala himself. We also asked for a refund, but he said he wasn't authorized to issue one and asked us to speak with the owner, Mr. Indrajeet. Over the past two days, we've called twice and were told each time that the owner would call us back. We never received a call. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how a business responds. The lack of follow-up and unwillingness to resolve a legitimate issue has been very disappointing. If customer concerns aren't taken seriously, there's little reason for us to continue supporting this business. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and cannot recommend it to our friends and family. read more

DON'T DO IT. March 15, 2026 5:20pm I was really missing the flavor of this pizza from years ago and decided to give them one more chance - NEVER AGAIN. When I picked up my order, the man that walked out of the kitchen had a piece of flour in his hands, making a pizza crust. He put the piece of dough down on the counter in the kitchen, then HIS FLOUR-CRUSTED HANDS TOUCHED THE COMPUTER SCREEN to look up my order, THEN GRABBED MY PIZZA BOXES without ever cleaning his hands! I can only imagine the level of hygiene or food & contamination safety used to make my pizzas! *cries* Such a disappointment. So disgusted. TS&P has always been consistent and our go to pizza place. Their pizza is solid and the subs (turkey and bacon) are really good too. Their Indian pizza choices are a stand out. Decent Indian pizza with option for personal pizza at $9. Large restaurant tucked away on Lawerence expressway. They have indoor/outdoor seating along with a bar area. Ordered through the website and picked up at the counter to eat outside the store. I got the houseful special which is garlic butter chicken. Pizza on the doughy side but has crispy crust and bottom. Can taste the spices on the pizza but not much garlic flavor. Jalapeños give it a nice kick. Server was nice and offered ranch, pepper, and cheese. This is my favorite India pizza of all time -- and I've tried quite a few! If you like pizza for the crust, this place is for you! The crust here is a traditional "football style" pizza crust -- chewy and kinda on the thicker side. I think it has higher hydration percentage than most other Indian pizza joints -- kinda surprised to see all the low reviews. The only issues I've had in the past was service, but it definitely wasn't abysmal ... just people being slow on orders and forgetting that I was waiting for a pickup. This used to be one of our favorite pizza places for a long time. Total let down the last few times. The pizzas are very dry with very limited sauce. The crust seems to be on the harder side and also seems like a thin crust. Taste isn't anywhere close to how it used to be. The tandoori wings aren't the same either. Would pass on them. Ordered for birthday party and left all of us raving about the pizzA. It was so delicious that there were no left overs . We are so happy as hosts. Their pizza is consistently good , never an issue , Top notch customer servce , so easy to talk to and place orders. Price is reasonable and we dont have to break the bank to have a party. They take any extra request quite seriously and their pizza is always the best in town. Its a blessing that when many places scale up and go down in quality , these folks have been around for long time and do amazing work all the time. As someone who used to live in the area & frequently ate & drank at this establishment I was very excited to find the opportunity to dine here again recently. Possibly it was my fault for ordering a sandwich (French dip) rather than a pizza, but unfortunately this will be the final time I find myself eating here. The staff was friendly & the mango lemonade was enjoyable, however, these are the only redeeming factors. The sandwich was cold & meat undercooked, the bread was toasted, which was nice although was also covered in condiment splatters from someone else's order. The au jus dip also seemed to just be chicken broth. Overall I think I was expecting it to taste as it once did, but it is clear this eatery has gone down hill. I'm finally doing it. After at least 13 years sitting in my Bookmarks (the past 9 or so being the very oldest Bookmark on the list), Tasty Subs & Pizza is getting its review. If you don't realize how long 13 years is in Yelp time, my Bookmark note is "Junkyard pinball." Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Tasty Subs & Pizza once had Junkyard, a really frustrating pinball machine that I nevertheless grew to love (and master-ish) between 1996 and 1998. I still play pinball all the time, but I haven't played Junkyard since at least 2005 because it was an unpopular (and breakable) enough game that it's not really sought after, so ironically, it's rarer than most of the pinball machines that most experts will tell you are rare. What does pinball have to do with Tasty Subs & Pizza? Everything, at least for me. I was drawn to the place by the promise of Junkyard, but I was greeted by four machines that weren't Junkyard. The next time I came, most of those had been replaced as well. At the time (early 2010s), this was a good sign; it meant this place was committed not only to pinball but to rotating games in and out. And I was committed to it. Not just playing pinball here (which I did at least six times in three years even though I lived 42.1 miles away). The pizza was spectacular, let me tell you. At the time, Indian pizza was still new to me, but every time I came, I tried something different, and every time I came, I enjoyed it more. Then the tragic happened. I arrived one Saturday afternoon to find all the pinball machines gone. I had already eaten, so this was purely a pinball trip I had taken, but they were very busy that day, and no one I spoke to could give me a straight answer as to whether the pinball machines would ever return. More than seven years later, they're still gone. I still drop by occasionally to see whether they've brought back the pinball, and I'm always saddened. That square glassy space upfront is just begging for four pinball machines to fill it. I've since tried the Indian sandwiches as well, and they're absolutely delicious. The place seems like it's trying too hard to be a sports bar, which somehow messes with its Indian-pizzas-and-subs ambiance. It's also the first place I ever tried one of those new soda fountains that allow you combine 127 flavors or whatever. I remember being disappointed that the by-the-slice options are either extremely limited or unavailable completely. The very first time I ate here, it was two different slices, so I know they used to have it. I really want to drop the ranking down to three stars just because of the lack of pinball and because the service seems to be ruder and ruder each time I come. Their pizza takeout is very busy, so I understand that the workers don't have time to stand around and chat, but ordering a sandwich can feel like you're burdening them, and a customer should never feel bad for doing something that gives a business more money. Five stars for the delicious food. Minus one star for the unfriendly service. Minus another star for it not feeling as nice to sit down and enjoy my food as it used to. Plus one star for the potential return of pinball and all the associated memories of when pinball was here. Traffic was very light when I came by this morning and place was empty no customers staff very friendly as I walk in looking at the menu chose #5 The Work's Pizza no need for toppings comes with black olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, salami, red onions, sausages, beef and pepperoni price $9 for a personal size which is more than enough for my appetite and one chicken salad comes in one size for drinks go on Yelp check in for a free soda not a bad deal got a large size cup of orange juice with ice on this hot July day. The chicken salad was well balance meal with fresh slice of tomatoes, olives, lettuce and cucumber high in protein a healthy low fat calories generous portion for $10. This is more a sport bar where one can spend time with friends and co-workers and watched the sport playoffs and news on multiple large flat screens. Updated review With a very heavy heart writing this review as I am one of their loyal customers since a decade (even more then that). Inder if you do read these reviews, then please realize that just making money by not providing the value is neither ethical nor morally correct. The amount of topping (1 paneer piece per slice) you put and the sauce area is on constant shrink, and i think soon enough it will disappear, it will just become cheese pizza. On a single slice, 75% is just the bread and rest is covered with thrifty toppings (See the picture attached). I had the pleasure this week to meet the owner of this wonderful establishment when we needed to cater a lunch meeting. We had a large presentation to give this week at a major customer. Typically when we do these we find some local chain sandwich or pizza place for the convenience. Boy am I glad we didn't go that route again and this may have changed my process forever. The owner Inder is exactly the kind of person you want to own a small local business. You just want him to be successful. He was courteous helpful and thankful for the business we were bringing in. He made sure everything thing went perfect from the prep to the timely delivery. Now I don't want to forget to mention the food. I have never had Indian pizza before. I'm from the northeast where pizza is a religion so this was definitely outside my area of expertise but I love Indian food so I thought let's go for it. Well I now have a new favorite. It's amazing. Everything that you love about butter chicken on a well crafted pizza it delicious. Please if you haven't been here make it a point to visit. Say hi and thank him for me again. Decreasing it down to 2 stars because: 1. I went there again after 4-5 months and received a very cold+ non presentable+ pizza looked definitely 2 hours old. All the slices were separated out. No cilantro/sauce (which they USUALLY put). When I told the guy, pizza doesn't look like it's made fresh - he just added cilantro on the top and gave it again to me. REALLY?? 2. I overheard a customer complaining that he got non veg pizza but he ordered vegetarian. I request management to take serious action into this. I have had this issue before and thought they improved. But after today's experience - it looks like they are back on the same page. On a side note (unrelated topic)- why is their front desk counter so high that it makes it hard to interact with "the customer" with "person managing orders". It's a total chaos. Just coming up with cool pizza names and playing the music in background - doesn't help much. Not sure what the difference is between this restaurant and Tasty Indian Pizza... Came here to have Indian pizza for the first time. Gotta say was very disappointed. Sad really. It could be so good I thought, thinking of good Indian food stop a solid pizza but instead it was kind of like putting crappy Indian food on top of a bad sub par dominos bready doughy pizza crust. Ordered the saag paneer pizza (gully) and it was super spicy which took away from the saag paneer toppings which were pretty abysmal to see. The paneer was crispy which was kinda neat. Also got the spicy garlic butter chicken- better than the saag paneer but completely missing the garlic. Like no where to be tasted. Also tried wings and nachos which I highly recommend skipping entirely. Actually just skip this place and check out another. The one perk was they served beer (had 805 and space dust) and also had plenty of seating (which some other spots didn't have so didn't go there as we were with a group.) read more

I'm pretty conflicted when I write this review. I have been here before and have friends who rave about this place, but I always felt that there are superior places to get Indian pizza. My standards for Indian pizza are definitely high considering the abundance of Indian pizza places here in the bay area. If I could give this place a 3.5 stars, I would, which is indicative of its overall rating given by many others. But a few things pushed me over to my final rating. I got to try three vegetarian pizzas today. The shahi paneer, pav bhaji, and garlic paneer. Now, the paneer slices here looks massive and are thinner, but they aren't really marinated so they add no flavor to the pizza. The mozzarella definitely has more flavor and paneer is a distinct cheese. The shahi paneer sauce was good but I wish it had a stronger flavor or more sauce. In comparison, the garlic paneer sauce was plentiful and actually really really good, I was impressed. The pav bhaji base was too heavy on the potato side, so it felt starchy and clearly didn't feel like one of their best options. When we dug into shahi paneer and pav bhaji pizza (we got half and half), surprisingly the cheese has more structure than the crust so it was so hard to pull apart and cut cleanly. The toppings and cheese literally kept sliding off when we take a slice and the crust kept folding in. I don't think they have the right ratio of toppings to crust density figured out, leading to a slice with not too much structure. But it wasn't a problem for garlic paneer. However since we ate there, everything was fresh and felt nice to eat, and these pizzas are generally on the softer pan side than at other places. One thing that stood out is how my friends mentioned that some of the pizzas were better than last time and some weren't, and that's how I remember the last time I came here. I did think this time was better, but the fact that there is this much inconsistency between visits and even the pizzas themselves leads me to give it a slightly lower rating. However I know I'll be back here with my friends, so I'm hoping to raise my rating up if I get a more consistent experience. read more

Although the pizza was next level delicious *today*, there's a reason for 3 stars. We had a terrible experience back in November and have not wanted to return. The story is that we ordered the large butter chicken pizza. It was a busy day and in the chaos, they accidentally took our pizza out on a delivery run. They kept staring at us and whispering so we knew something was up. And INSTEAD of just remaking the pizza they KNEW was gone, they WAITED for the delivery guy to return. We wondered why it was in a box and not on a tray and as soon as we opened the box, it was clearly not fresh made, and as we started eating it, it closing in on room temperature. We pieced it all together and told the manager that we could tell what happened. He was honest and admitted it, and offered us a free pizza to make it right. This was fair and would have resolved... HOWEVER...when I returned for the free pizza, the manager was so concerned about making it quickly that he told the team to rush it as fast as possible. I said "no need to rush, I'm happy to wait." Well, that pizza was done waaaay too fast, and I really should have checked before leaving the parking lot, but I was tired and just headed home. We opened the box to a RAW-RAW-RAW PIZZA. In no universe should that have been served to anyone. We didn't think they were pranking us, but who knows. Ultimately, it was too embarrassing to say something a second time and we were fearful of going back. Fast forward 6 months and we felt enough time had past, so we decided to give it a try. Someone different was behind the counter, so we ordered the butter chicken again thank goodness, it was amazing lime is used to be prior to our fiasco. I may be willing to fix this review over time, but at the moment, we are still bothered that we invested so much time and effort into getting two terrible pizzas. On case you wondered...of course we tried putting the raw pizza in the oven. It turned out burnt and still raw and had to go in the trash. We do plan to go back and I still do recommend the Buttered chicken pizza. We got ours with no onions, mushroom, or peppers. read more

My favorite is saag paneer(it is saag based green curry sauce- the pineapple in this pizza really balances the jalapeño and spices in sauce) and Pukar (shahi paneer pizza)- this is planner Tikka gravy on the pizza with paneer and onion toppings They also do half and half so you don't need to do order two pizzas to try their different options. This place has both standard as well as Indian pizzas but we are all about the Indian pizzas! We love paneer so instead of butter chicken we got the paneer version as well as half saag paneer. I was not expecting the saag paneer to have jalapeños or pineapple (clearly I didn't read the details) but was pleasantly surprised! I took off the jalapeños for myself and the kids since we are weak in the spice dept but hubs loved it. The kids still thought it was spicy but ate it! I thought the pineapple would be weird with the saag (creamy spinach) but it worked really well! It got door dashed so it wasn't hot hot anymore but it was still delicious!! Portions were very generous. Almost everyone ordered more than they could finish! Pizza itself was very good and filling too! They have a nice outdoor seating area, good for big parties as well. One downside is because they make them fresh, every pizza has its own bake time of ~15 minutes. Not sure how long the wait would be once it goes busy. read more
