I've been taking my son to KS Academy for almost a month. In such a short amount of time, Coach K has fine tuned a lot of the small details of my son's game, which has resulted in much more overall consistency. He pays very close attention to the little things - teaching the importance of mastering the fundamentals. From regular conversation, I can tell that he cares about the development of each of his players, and does what he can not only to train, but follow through with his clients' journey by attending games and coaching beyond the academy walls. As a former hs basketball player, I do know that having people supporting you is always a motivating factor and drives you to strive for more. We first met him when he became my son's first AAU coach and ever since then Kevin has become like family to us. This is a review about KS Academy Summer Basketball Camp. My rising 8th grade son participated all week in the 2024 KS Academy summer camp. One of the best part about this camp was the number of skilled, older high school and college volunteers that gave individual attention to my son. Despite my son being one of the older kids at camp, he was able to work with many of the volunteers to get specialized feedback. And the feedback he received from different sets of eyes, helped him make adjustments and improve his overall game. We would definitely do this again. read more

Coach Kevin is a great trainer and coach. Both of my kids started training with him right after Covid for a few years! He was extremely flexible with scheduling around our other activities! He has a very deep understanding of basketball fundamentals (dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, footwork, etc.). He encouraged my kids and tried to build their confidence. Although we have not had time to train since my son is in full swing for High School basketball, Coach K will still check in with him about how he is doing. We have been training with coach Kevin for about 6 months now and feel extremely fortunate to have found him. Kevin has thousands of followers on Instagram but he treats each and every player as if he/she is Kevin's one-and-only client. He is intimately aware of each player's progress and evolves the training every session. My son has trained with Coach K for about a year now. He's done his summer camps, school break camps, and has done private and group training with him. He will always take my requests into account to prioritize areas of development based on the past weekend's tournament. No two training sessions are the same. He is extremely supportive to the point where I occasionally hear him yelling feedback at my son when we're playing *against* him and he's always taken time to provide feedback to him after the game when he's seen him play. We are so thankful that Coach Kevin came into our son's life during his high school school years! He was a great coach on and off the court for Jacob. We loved his coaching style and also had Jacob work 1:1 in training sessions to fine tune different skills. Kevin had great drills and thoughtful plays during games. But he was more than a coach on the court for my son - he was also a great mentor and displayed a strong work ethic. He would check in with Jacob even when he was no longer his jv coach to talk about game insights and how Jacob could help his varsity team.
