It's not just about training; they also offer many opportunities to participate in basketball tournaments organized by different organizations. Additionally, once or twice each season, the team travels to places outside of the Bay Area for games. All of these experiences allow the kids to develop in all aspects of basketball. Moreover, the coaches, parents, and kids on the team get along very well -- it feels like one big family. One more thing to mention: our current coach George often provides extra training sessions to help the kids improve even more, all for the betterment of the team. They have a broad comprehensive approach to Basketball, from technique to a strongly developed sense of Social Emotional support from the top down. My son has improved and benefited from the oversight of the coaching staff as he grows and matures mentally and physically. They have recognized his strengths and identified areas for improvement with their thoughtful engenderment. HIs little sister has joined the girl's 5th/6th team the last few seasons and enjoyed the same benefits to encourage her interest in developing her skills and sense of sportsmanship and belonging in the team setting. After that, my other daughter developed an interest in Volleyball. She has joined the sister organization for volleyball, SpikeRight. We have also been extremely satisfied with the same level of attention and concern for the needs of the individual in the team setting. Since joining, our child loves basketball more and more, has improved basketball skills tremendously, and loves and respects all the coaches. It's great to see my child's confidence build up so much from learning so many skills and being supported by the coaches. My child even noted recently that the Warriors basketball camp we attended previously "taught nothing" by comparison. I was also immediately impressed with their communications when I first contacted them. They're quick, efficient, clear, professional, and responsive in emails. It's clear they're on top of their stuff. I also appreciate the small nice touches, such as the quality and design of the jerseys and t-shirts they pick for the kids, as well as their website. It is incredibly obvious because the kids are generally extremely well behaved, so practically all disciplinary actions I've witnessed are driven by misunderstandings created by the coaches themselves, then they lose their temper and "punish" players. For example, a coach divides to 2 sub-groups then shouts instructions to one sub group, but both groups comply; the coach completely loses it and gets everyone down to pushups and running; he doesn't think that the fact that so many players misunderstood him is due to his unclear instructions, he just feels disrespected and takes the anger out on the kids. Same happens when group of kids misunderstood transition between exercises as water break time so the other coach flipped out, and there are many examples of this nature. In addition, "management"/founders are onboard because they think relates to discipline, instead of thinking about their coaches' ability and, if anything, the coaches discipline & self-control

MIXED REVIEW for camp and for tryouts. camps are 5 stars and tryouts are 1 star or less (negative…read more1000 aura per my teen daughter for tryouts) CAMPS- 5 Stars I signed up my daughter who is a libero for all of their summer camps. They excel at teaching the foundations of volleyball literally step by step. The camps are broken down into specific parts of volleyball - like hitting, offense, serve/pass, etc. Even if your child has played for a while she will learn and dramatically improve from taking their camps. Even though my daughter plays liberó she took the other parts and it has made her a better volleyball player overall. The only downside to the camp is that the coaches are not friendly. They are serious business from start to finish. I've put her in camps at different places and the camps are serious but the coaches are friendly and positive. Here you'll get none of that. They are machines and they will drill a particular step over and over with no smiles or positivity. Also, if your daughter isn't used to hard core conditioning or long practices limit the camps you sign up because your daughter will get a work out. My daughter is obsessed with volleyball and practices on her own as well as does conditioning, running, practice 4 times a week. She would come home dripping in sweat. She loved it but not all kids looked happy walking out. They looked exhausted. Regardless, I highly recommend the camps. TRYOUTS- 1 star or less (negative 1000 aura per my daughter) I wasn't familiar with Vision at all. I decided to sign her up for tryouts and thought it was going to be like other teams where they actually try you out and evaluate you. The key thing to know is that the TEAMS ARE SET BEFORE TRYOUT. I didn't know this. They usually are looking for one or two players (this year 2025 outside or middle only). So there were probably 70 girls (or more) and they wanted 2. The girls get very little play time and cycle in and out so there isn't a chance for your daughter to really be evaluated. It is chaotic. Also don't assume that because you took a camp that they would even know your daughter or that it would give her a chance. I found out that they do private camps, had 98% of the teams set, they had talked to parents and player well before tryouts and at tryouts, and that if you didn't hear from them at practice, tryout, or within 24 hours then you didn't get in. They also only want tall girls. If your child isn't over 5'7 don't bother to tryout. Just facts- these Vision girls are giants. If your daughter isn't vertically blessed then pass on tryout. Finally they ghost after tryout. Not only was the tryout chaotic but they didn't send out an email or anything notifying your daughter that she didn't get on the team. If they have the teams set already it would be simple to send out a mass email to everyone else (all 68 girls) saying " great job at tryout but we can't accept you on a team this year." Even a simple sentence like that would be good so that your daughter could tryout for another team or accept an offer they have gotten. The waiting game hurts their ability to move on to another team. It's a courtesy and they could automate it so not sure why they ghost. Very unprofessional and not a good business model. This leads me to think the tryout is a money maker for them. What I don't understand is that if they have 70 girls trying out why not add a few more teams. This is a business and they would make money on that too. Just beware of all this before you sign up for tryouts. Had this been disclosed up front then you can make an informed decision to tryout or not. Seriously - if they had said we need an outside and middle then I would have had my daughter tryout elsewhere bc she is Libero so there was no chance before she even started the tryout. All tryouts for 15+ are same day in July for all teams everywhere so she could have tried out elsewhere had all of this been disclosed. They need more disclosure up front and probably need to improve their business model.

Imagine if they weren't organized. The instructors know what they are doing and my daughter's skills definitely improved. She wants to continue going in the Fall. One star taken away for parking.
