BEST DJ EVER!!! Kyle was literally amazing. We met a few months before the wedding. He took so much time explaining everything, asking questions (more than any other DJ I had interviewed), and continued to wow us with his service up until the wedding. The day of the wedding, he got there super early; which was incredible. We paid extra for the ceremony amount (I highly suggest having him DJ the ceremony as well). He got there 2 and a half hours early to set up. Literally no hassle. I gave him our songs for certain parts of the ceremony, but I also gave him free rein to do whatever he thought was best with my favorite band, the Beatles. He intricately placed some amazing songs in the ceremony that added a unique touch to the whole atmosphere. The cocktail hour, he did the same thing. One of our caterer's got into a car accident on the way to the event with the stove in her trunk. We had to serve the food right away. Guess who came to the rescue? Kyle. He re-planned the timing, did announcements quickly so the food wouldn't get food, and coordinated photos with the photographer to save time. He did all of this while bringing us food, drinks, etc. and making sure we were comfortable. He dealt with family drama and did everything with a genuine smile on his face. He was sweet to all of the kids there (I have nieces and nephews and he played all of their requests and gave them shout outs.) Every little bit that makes an excellent DJ, Kyle and his team have. It's all in the details, and Kyle sure performs to the excellent standard. I could not be happier with his services. We met Kyle after receiving a recommendation from our wedding photographer and could not have been happier with our choice of DJ for our wedding. We were very happy with the professionalism and quality of service from Kyle. We reviewed a couple of DJs before deciding on Kyle and by far we thought he offered the best value for the service package. There is always an element of unknown when booking a DJ, but Kyle was always very responsive on email and I also had a one on one session with him to go over what we are looking for the wedding to kind of get a feel for his personality and I was very happy with how that went and gave a deposit on the spot. Recently hired Kyle for a reception being held the first night of a multi-day professional conference. About 100 people at an outdoor poolside reception. I warned him that this group tends to skew older in age and a little more conservative so if no one ended up dancing and he just provided background music for an early evening he shouldn't consider it a failure. RICHARD is awesome!! We hired him for our reception only (ceremony was a small event requiring no music, and also two weeks before), which was in a backyard. I was a bit nervous because I had some relatives and friends flying in from out of state/country, and I wanted them to relax and have fun even though it would be a more casual, backyard setting. You can give guests good food and drink, but ultimately I think it's also music that sets the tone for everything. I explained my concerns to Richard, and he said in all of his years of DJing (I forget how long...around 25 years? If not, seriously somewhere close to that!), he's done a lot of backyard weddings. That's where his experience really came in, reading the crowd and setting the tone of the event at different times, as appropriate. I basically gave him very little direction (classy 50's music cocktail hour for pictures, then a bit of 70s/80s/clean current dance music towards the end of the night) and he made an awesome playlist. He even had really wonderful classical music playing as the caterers set up! Richard is great for the hands off bride because I honestly didn't have any time to give him direction, and he took the reins while keeping me in the loop. The music ended up great, and people from every generation who attended my wedding said they loved the music. He asked about how I wanted to handle requests/any no-play songs, and said should any guest want a no-play song, he'd take the blame for it and say he didn't have it. It's nice to meet a DJ willing to take the fall for a bride not wanting to play a song! We didn't have that situation thankfully, but it was a nice offer from him and I think it really shows his integrity and desire for his clients to have a great time at a great event, with great music. We met Kyle at the Fullerton Bridal Show and had a great first impression. Kyle was easy to meet up with and came prepared, organized, and on time. Our wedding was February 2, 2013. We decided to book him and we are so thankful we did. We had a great location and wonderful catering but our music stood out to us.
