Loving this little corner restaurant. I feel like I'm in Brooklyn (or, upstate NY...)..atmosphere is hip. Music has cool vibes. Service was wonderful. Vegan options! Clean, chill and a place I'm going to frequent. Love it here and highly recommend!!

Matcha Latte Egg white, Avocado and Swiss Crepe
    Hikari N.

Came here for brunch and got the matcha latter and egg white, avocado, Swiss crepe. From the get go I loved the quaint aesthetic this place has. It's mixture of different knickknacks. The barista took our order and also made our drinks The matcha was great! A little bit in the sweeter side than what I normally get. The crepe was a little thicker than I was expecting. The portion was pretty big as I couldn't finish the crepe at the end

What are you, KTB? It says coffee shop on your building but you're not a coffee shop?
    Jessi T.

I used to like this place when I thought it was coffee shop but maybe in recent years it changed to not being a coffee shop because this Yelp listing says, "Restaurant & Lounge". Or maybe it was always a restaurant & lounge? I have no idea. I'm very confused. I've always thought it was a coffee shop because painted on the side of the building, it says, "coffee shop" but after the last time I was there, I read some of the reviews and it's apparently not a coffee shop. This is news to me because I get no restaurant-type experience here. The restaurant looks like a coffee shop (think: eclectic furniture, wood floors, local art on the walls), there's no hostess, no one greets you, you seat yourself. Often times, when I've walked in there's no one at the counter. The times I've been there, no one gives me a menu unless I ask. One time (two years ago), someone said, "are you eating?" and gave me a menu. I would think if this is supposed to be a restaurant/lounge, it's assumed that everyone is ordering either food or a drink and should be given a menu automatically. I've often had to order at the counter because no one comes up to my table. On my last visit, when I thought it was a coffee shop, I was told there's no computers allowed. I was immediately given the bill for my one drink (so basically, getting kicked out) but I didn't understand why the computer couldn't be put away and offered to order food? At this point, I was still thinking it was a coffee shop because again, it literally has "coffee shop" painted on the side of the building. I was so confused. At least the woman checking me out offered an alternative place to go which was a kind gesture but the whole interaction made me feel very unwelcome. After this visit, I saw on the awning, it says "restaurant & lounge" but if that's the case, please make it feel more like a restaurant & lounge. Maybe start by taking out the words "coffee shop" from the side of the building. I won't come again. Like one of the reviews said, the place isn't welcoming and aside from that and the confusion of coffee shop vs not, my last two drink orders were wrong. One time I asked for an Irish coffee and I have no idea what I got but it wasn't an Irish coffee and I didn't want to try to order it again. The second time, I asked for a coffee with a shot of espresso but was given a shot of espresso. The food is ok and if you like dining at restaurants that serve alcohol and look like coffee shops but aren't, come here.

First time here with my wife on a Sunday morning & before arriving I would've figured because it's a Sunday this place would be packed but NOPE! There was no wait time & not many people here which was a relief because my wife hate's waiting lol. They gave us menus & took our orders. This place gets a 5 STARS ALL AROUND !!! From the quick service to the food. Amazing! Quality presentation on the food YUM! We will definitely come back & recommend this place! People need to come check this place out! You won't be disappointed! Trust us.

The mighty KTB from North Arlington has splintered off for their second location (actually the young lady that helped me I recognize from the original java shop on Ridge Road) - and it's bigger and brighter and booze-less. (I love me some coffee but alcohol is the refreshment that is still the bee's knees after all these years.) Original artwork (for sale) on the walls. Mix-and-match furniture and doodads (I dig that vintage radio!) give this place a welcoming vibe. Seriously good coffee being brewed (their Americano is still my go-to). Big menu on the wall (someone has immaculate penmanship, by the way) with all sorts of drinks and food. And while I know nothing about Hasbrouck Heights this looks like a great spot for a hip little coffee shop.

    Chill atmosphere.

Growing up in Hasbrouck Heights, it is nice to finally see a coffee shop with a professional barista. The music is relaxing and hip. The eclectic interior design is comfortable. The staff is very chill and friendly. My Americano was so smooth. The tuna wrap hit the spot. The prices are reasonable.

KTB Coffee Shop- Was craving really good coffee, and another coffee shop nearby was closed. Thankfully this hidden gem was open at 4:30pm. I walked into a beautiful, quaint, quiet, upscale coffee shop. The decor is eclectic, beautiful, and artsy. The menu is beautifully posted on the wall, filled with various coffees, flavors, pastries, and sandwiches. The atmosphere is a laid back, relaxed, with people enjoying great coffee, conversations, or using their laptop. Pros: Service was excellent. The lady behind the counter was very nice, and suggested the perfect cup of coffee. I went with her suggestion, and it was an amazing cup of coffee. I ordered the coffee to go, but they were having open mic night with live poetry reading. I decided to sit, sip my cup, and enjoy the atmosphere. Cons: None, it's a beautiful place, with excellent coffee. I felt like I was at a coffee shop in Europe. Parking: I found parking on the street. It is a very busy street in town. Easily found parking in front the coffee shop. This will be on my list of favorite places to buy coffee.

Came with my partner and we sat were we liked, ordered our meal.. they had a pool table that you need to insert a dollar of quarters to play, we played while we waited for our food. Our waitress seemed to be unprofessional, wearing basically sleep wear. We overheard her apologize at another table assuming that she took too long or forgot some drinks (drinks they didn't even start to finish) because she also forgot many things at our table having to ask her twice for things and wasn't attentive. When we ordered our omelettes and we could instantly tell that they were from a carton. My partners potatoes were burnt and hard. And my omelette came with American cheese when I never ordered it. I don't eat cheese, especially American. I was in a rush, so I just returned the omelette and told her to take it off our bill. I ordered a side salad and I started to eat that only to find a hair on my cucumber... I returned that. When I showed it to the server she looked intensely at the cucumber and said "oh my fucking God" and I thought that was very unprofessional. We asked for the check and we never got it, and my partner had to go up and get her attention. Not to mention 18% gratuity is already included.. probably because service would not be up to par. We also ordered a pumpkin crêpe that just had pumpkin paste in it, That tasted very metallic. We hardly ate that. When she took my omelette away, she took my utensils, so I had to take my partners utensils. It's a shame because the ambience is quite nice, but definitely deteriorated over the years and the food is very low quality, and the service is barely service. I left unsatisfied and hungry.

Not very sure how to start here... The beginning of our experience was fine--we got seated and were given menus. When ordering, we specifically ordered the nutella crepe with "strawberries on the side." I also ordered a matcha latte which arrived with a giant gap at the top... not sure why. When the crepe arrived, the strawberries were on top and not on the side as requested. When I brought it to our waitress, she said I should have specified even though I did... While they were remaking our crepe, we heard them bad-mouthing us, calling us ugly and laughing. Extremely unprofessional. I assume that they assumed we did not speak their language, but we did, unfortunately for them. We completed our meal and paid but were still left with a bad impression. If you want to be respected as a customer, do not go here.

We stumbled upon KTB Coffee Shop while researching a café to spend a couple hours in while doing work. To our surprise, KTB is MUCH MUCH more than a coffee shop. They serve breakfast foods, full entrees, baked goods, wine, beer, and beautiful pastries. We love all of the options, along with the bottomless unlimited mimosas special that they have at certain hours during the day. It's a great deal, and the barista/bartender is always great! There are books and board games for visitors, as well as an evening schedule packed with live music, trivia, and poetry. We are excited to try their bottomless brunch mimosas, and visit their sister location in North Alrington. Photos include chardonnay, comfortable ambiance, and hummus appetizer with the tuna wrap. Thanks for the perfect lunch break, KTB!

Bavarian Pretzel: amazing. Very tasty. Came out nice and hot. That rarebit cheese sauce? Oh honey that can come home with me anytime. Absolutely delicious. And this is coming from someone who hates that fake cheese, cheese whiz type taste. Margherita Pizza: didn't come out hot which is probably why I wasn't a fan of it. It was pretty mediocre for such a basic pizza. And the food didn't come out all together, so not sure why that didn't come out hot. Wings and waffles: Tasty buffalo wings. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.

We were then told which I believe should've been the owner or manager we had to move to a different table and he'll give us a free margarita on the house. Our waiter arrived to wipe down the table because the table we were changed to was dirty and we put in a order for drinks and a appetizer and asked if she can come back in 5 minutes to take our main dish order. It took over 20 minutes to get our drink and our waiter quickly rushed away and this was the last interaction we had and got checked up on from this point. Keep in mind we got seated at 8:15 PM and we got our drinks around 8:45. From this point no one came up to us to put in our entree order and me and my date were starving and our waiter was serving others around us but was completely ignoring us and rushing away. Finally after 9:30 PM after more than 1 hour of not receiving our appetizer we put or nor our waiter putting in our main dish I asked for the check for the 2 drinks I ordered and left. Never have I ever gotten up from a restaurant table and left because of bad service and I been here at this spot couple times and even on holidays and never received this treatment. The manager then gave us complimentary appetizer and dessert but at this point I wanted to leave and did not even touch it. I shouldn't have to complain and ask for my check for you guys to finally give what I wanted. On top of that we never got the free drinks we were promised.
