We were visiting from New York for a long weekend and wanted some authentic Cuban food. Yelped this place because it was close to the casino and boy did we land on a jackpot! The food 10 out of 10 the service 100 out of 10 Big shouts out to Wendy our server who was the perfect addition to our wonderful experience in this establishment. The Cuban coffee was some of the best I've ever had and we all had entrées from the lunch special Menu which came with a soup or salad. Even the small portion of chicken noodle soup that came with my entrée was flavorful and delicious. We will definitely be back to this restaurant and hopefully Wendy would be able to take care of us because it felt like we were in her home! Go here!!!

Churrasco steak was perfect and the fried sweet plantains changed my life. The waitress was very sweet and helpful!

Staff and service was good. But I am not impressed by the food. Very bland in taste & I was surprised by that for such a Cuban spot. Would pass and try other Cuban spots. Nice decor

I ordered food to go and my order was completed fairly quickly. The inside looks quite welcoming and staff were fairly nice. The prices were decent and the quantity was good, but unfortunately the food was all quite bland. I ordered the granjero bowl without beans and a side of fried yuca. The chicken and maduros were dry, the rice was alright, and the yuca was completely bland. Not an ounce of salt in that yuca.

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. Kuba Kitchen is an absolute gem. While the location may seem a little sketch at first, inside diners will find a clean, welcoming dining room. Our waitress/hostess was kind and attentive, so we felt good about making our choice to have lunch here. The food is fabulous. The El Kubano sandwich with pork, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles was very delish and the Cuban Coffee was the perfect pick me up. Rich, not bitter. There is limited parking in their lot but you can also park along the street. Expect a short walk for the latter. Highly recommend!

Great lunch experience here today! Our waitress was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. We were the only people there at around 11:45 AM so got seated immediately. we had the appetizer sampler and our favorite items were the croquettes, yucca, and fried cheese. Would definitely go here again!

Came here straight from the airport because we should have Cuban food in Miami! Very cute place with sweet service. We ordered the appetizer platter but they were out of a couple items so had the tostones instead which were giant! I was full after eating my one and a half tostada so probably good we didn't the app platter. Roast pork was moist especially since it was a loin. Happy to have started with Cuban!

We lived each of the 4 different entrees we ordered, & also loved the juices they offer. The service by Melissa was supremely fantastic! We would eat there on a weekly basis if we lived in the area. Regarding the ambulance, the inside had great music also. It was not very loud so that we could talk with each other very easily.

    Neat corner.

Both were absolutely delicious. The pastry filling was light and not overly sweet, which I really loved. Since the coffee was so good, I went back to buy some coffee beans, but they only had ground coffee available, so I picked up a bag. I can't wait to make it at home. AMBIANCE Parking: Dedicated lot and surrounding parking options, though it can get busy during peak hours. Seating: Plenty! Large dining rooms capable of accommodating individuals, families, tour groups, and everyone in between. Vibes: Welcome to Little Havana. It's a bit spaced out for you to experience Cuban culture. The restaurant itself gives you that classic, old-school charm with some history of the Cuban community. I dig the Cuban music giving it a nice cultural touch. This spot is no hidden gem. This is a common place for everyone - locals to tourists. FOOD / DRINKS Cubano (Recommend) Ofcourse you have to get a Cubano. Nothing too flashy but definitely gets the job done. Classic pressed bread with a satisfying crunch with a medley of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard to give it a nice savory and comforting taste. Every bite had a good balance of texture and flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Awesome! Efficient and experienced. They know this place serves a lot of people so they know they had to come correct. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Great selections, fair prices, and a solid cultural experience. Versailles does a great job perserving and celebrating Cuban culture. For those interested for that Cuban-Miami experience, this is the place to be. TIPS * Come hungry--the portions are generous

From a bartender/ server, I can say I'm always looking for good service and he delivered. The food was really good we had the ham and chicken croquetas, as well as carnitas frita de cerdo. We were celebrating my girls birthday and he brought out a nice Dubai chocolate cake and sang happy birthday. Super nice I suggest seating outside in the patio. It's hot but there's many fans. Our empanada was brought out along with our margaritas. The empanada was absolutely delicious!! So delicious!! The margaritas were ok. Our server then took our dinner order I ordered Media Noche (sloppy joe style). My husband ordered a Frita Cubana. When our food was served my so called Media Noche was a Cuban sandwich no sloppy Joe in any way. It was ok but I had a Cuban sandwich the day before that tasted so much better! My husband was sorry that he ordered the sandwich he ordered not very good and said he'd never order again. Heads up to all they automatically add a 18% tip to every bill! Make sure you pay attention and don't add an additional tip. Also a photographer actually sat in my husbands bench seat to take a picture of the diners next to us! Really??? Our server never came back, never checked on us absolutely terrible service!!! They did have chickens and roosters running around, did have music playing and had a live band in the indoor seating. The food is the kind of Cuban cooking that makes you go quiet for a second: a beef and rice bowl with black beans, sweet plantains, and avocado that was rich and deep and comforting, plus a flaky empanada that disappeared in about four bites. Nothing felt like a tourist version of Cuban food. It felt like someone in the kitchen actually cares. Then the live music kicks in and the whole room lifts. A band right in the space, real Cuban son, the bartenders working behind that gorgeous bar like it is a performance of its own. The cocktail program is legendary for a reason, the cantineros are pouring with serious skill, and the energy is electric without being a chaotic club scene. An older waitress served our table. She first brought us calamari that was undercooked, sticky, and raw. She replaced it with octopus, which was more expensive, and we agreed to keep it. We also asked for tap water, but she brought us bottled water instead, which cost $10. The restaurant was very dark, making it difficult to notice these things right away. Before we had a chance to review everything, the food was already served. When the check arrived, she pressured me to pay quickly, so I didn't have enough time to carefully review the bill. Later, I realized we had been charged for additional side dishes that we never ordered, which increased the total significantly. This restaurant is wonderful and doesn't need these kinds of tactics. I only wish they employed more honest waitstaff. My advice is to carefully check your order and your bill before paying so you don't end up spending extra money or dealing with unnecessary stress that could ruin an otherwise enjoyable evening. I truly loved the atmosphere and the food, but I was very disappointed by the service. For me, the ambiance and food deserve 5 stars, while the service deserves only 1 star. That averages out to a 3-star review.

It could have don't without the little salad on top, but at least it ads color to the dish. The crispy pork tasted so amazing and the fried had so much flavor.
