We were actually looking for a quick bite and boba after visiting Sports Basement and found this little gem very close by. We love to support small businesses. The inside is cozy and very cute. It has a little bamboo hut and bench inside that's perfect for photo ops. There are only a few tables inside, so we decided to have a seat and eat there. I ordered the six pack online and guessed what to order: 2 pepperoni pizza, 2 Beef Stew "Kaldereta", and 2 Longganisa Omelette empanadas. We also ordered boba drinks (wintermelon milk tea and the strawberry potchi). I recommend adjusting the sweetness. All of the empanadas tasted amazing, but my kiddo especially loved the pizza one, so we decided to order 3 more and then a cheeseburger one as well. Came here for the first time today with my son to try these empanadas that had unique Filipino inspired flavors and every single one was AMAZING! I also got their flavor of the month which happened to be vegetarian (a creamy mushroom and spinach flavor) that my husband devoured! Was going to get 3 empanadas, ended up with 6 because why not. My favorite was the chicken adobo, it was meaty, savory and packed a ton of flavor. My second favorite was mango cheesecake, it was decadent and sweet enough with the glaze on top. If you can, you should try the other flavors depending on what you'd think you'd like but definitely include both of those ones. I got full with 3 and I can eat a lot so they're definitely filling. They also come with chili oil that packs a punch and some sweet n sour sauce that complements the empanadas. The mango wall drink was good with a great mango taste. The boba was nice and chewy. Yup, no shame in admitting I use TT to follow certain content creators that features new and old places, and most I've never heard of before. Individually priced at $5.95 each or try their Empanada Deal # 1 for 6 types at $33 or Empanada Deal # 2 for 12 types at $63. It was a no-brainer to choose # 1 and ordered the following flavors: - Chicken Adobo - Kaldereta (Beef Stew) - Longanisa Omelette (Pork Sausage - Pork Meatloaf (Embutido) - Pepperoni Pizza - Mango Cheesecake (For dessert, but received Banana instead) For drinks, we got Taro with Ube Halaya ($5.25) and Buko Pandan with Coconut Jelly ($6.75). Grabbed a table outside and waited for our orders to arrive. Verdict: All the empanadas have a rich, flaky and buttery crust. The Chicken Adobo had a mild adobo flavor that didn't overpower. However, I would've preferred that oomph to give it a little more flavor. Still enjoyed it nonetheless. The Kaldereta had more oomph and was also moist and juicy. The ingredients blended well together, which gave it a nice chew. I expected the Longanisa to be my favorite, but the Longanisa fell short in flavors in my opinion. My favorite among the Filipino flavors was the Embutido (Pork Meatloaf). The combination of seasoned pork, eggs and other ingredients made this empanada the perfect vehicle for this Filipino dish. Everything just worked well together, and it was packing a punch in terms of flavors. But my surprising best of the bunch was actually the Peperoni Pizza. I ordered this one as just an afterthought as we were just excited to try their Filipino flavors. This was salty (in a good way) with the tomato sauce coating everything together like a mystic pizza joint. I would've been happy eating half a dozen of these. Not that I wasn't happy eating the rest, but maybe happier and fuller. And for dessert...since I was expecting to bite into mango, I was surprised that it was banana-flavored Empanada. My mind was expecting "Jollibee Peach Mango Pie-ish" but got a "Turon" version instead. Hey, I wasn't mad and it was an honest mistake on their part. Their empanada have a flaky buttery crust that holds up well to their rich fillings of Filipinos stews each with their side sauce. The boba drinks also have a Filipino flair with Pandan Coconut. I've also bought the milk tea party kit which includes a half gallon of milk tea, cups, straws, and toppings which was great for a half a dozen middle schoolers. read more

The food is amazing! If you love empanadas or Filipino food or baked goods, you are going to love this place! Service is top-notch the woman who co-owns it is really sweet. I forgot her name kinda. I think it's Sam. She's down to earth, cool to talk to. We got our order pretty quickly You know a place is pretty cool anytime you got youngsters sitting down hanging out inside there. You know the place is chill enough and nice enough to hang out in after school. They have little decorations set up and the overall feel of the place is welcoming This is my first time coming here and I will be coming back many more times, so I'm looking forward to bringing my wife here because we are fans of this type of food The boba, milk tea was off the hook to!
