Overall really good experience. I was seated and given water almost immediately, and since I've been trying to find a ramen spot I enjoy as much as the one down the street from my house, I had already looked into their menu and knew what I wanted. The food came out quickly, and all together. Would not have been ideal on a date or family night, but I was on a long break and was personally thankful for that. The pork buns have a good amount of sauce and the pork is soft and juicy- although a little thinly sliced. I was happy with the buns themselves and would definitely order them again. The takoyaki was definitely the best I've found in this area so far- the inside was soft instead of gritty and chewy like I've had before, and it was very flavorful without being completely covered in sauce. I'd come back just for that. The ramen I was definitely the most skeptical of, but I ended up loving it. I asked for it extra spicy and I don't think it was that, unfortunately, but it still had great flavor. There were a lot of noodles in there, so it didn't feel like I couldn't eat too many at once and get left with a bunch of broth quickly. The veggie patty was amazing and the entire dish was hot and very filling. I took some home. Totally unreal!! Some of the absolute best ramen I've ever had!! I had the seafood ramen. So fresh. The scallops and the broth are so rich in flavor. The way they make the egg is perfect. It's like an over poached egg instead of a soft boiled. I also got xao long bao or soup dumplings. SO MUCH BROTH and the dumpling sauce is delicious. The eggplant bao bun was a litttttle underwhelming. It needed more sauce. Kani salad is something I grew up eating and hadn't seen it on a menu in so long. It was good but needed something else. Topped with avocado or tempura flakes would have been nice. I got all of this via door dash and it tasted like I was eating in in house. Food: I only had the ramen. For being as popular as this place is, I expected better. The egg was way undercooked, and after looking at other review pics, I realized the cooks intentionally do this. Why? I don't know because you don't have to travel far to learn how to cook a proper ramen egg. Lots of kids in the restaurant - surely this would gross them out. Broth, noodles and meat were great. Could use more fresh garnishes (and offer garlic). Atmosphere: mass chaos on a cold weekend night. They don't deliver so there is a crowd of 20 plus people at the front door (not waiting on seats) but waiting on to-go orders. I would go back on a weeknight and ask them not to include an egg. The gyoza were combination veggie and chicken and my daughter gobbled them up leaving my wife and I to split one to try. One of the better gyoza we've had. Entree was spicy shoyu beef hot ramen. The beef brisket was well cooked and tender. The spice level was enough to be tingly but not overly hot. The other items in the ramen were bean sprouts, corn, and baby boo choy. Entree 2 was spicy chicken cold ramen. There was a good mix of ingredients. Heat level was on point. The cold noodles were great for a warm end of summer day. Entree 3 was chicken fried rice. Wasn't my daughters favorite, possible due to a Japanese style fried rice but overall good flavor with a good amount of chicken. I've eaten ramen all around the globe and this husky's partner knows her Japanese foods and ramen as well since she belongs to that pack. I had the miso ramen, medium spicy and it's comparable to other ramen places at high spicy level (out of none, low, medium, high spiciness). It was fantastic. My partner loves the tonkatsu ramen. This is the real deal. From the time I sat down, ordered, and got the ramen it was super quick at lunch. I'm glad Fort Collins finally has an authentic ramen place. Delicious! Peppered tuna tataki is beautifully presented and absolutely flavorful. The Gyoza pan fried is the best option. Ramen has perfect textured noodle and medium spicy is a 7.5 out of 10 for spicy level. It was flavorful and filling. This is my second time back and I will come back again. Best Ramen in the Fort no doubt. I discovered about three months ago and have been back many times and ordered take out which was just as awesome. Personal favs : TonKatsu Ramen Spicy- a delightful broth, plenty of super fresh ingredients and perfect heat. Noodles are to dye for. Slurp it up to the last drop! Shrimp Shu Mai (made to order and it shows !!! ) - they come to table in a steamer the way they were meant to be served - absolutely the best I have ever had anywhere in the US. We got 2 orders of pork buns, Spicy Chicken ramen, Tonkotsu ramen, Chili Pork ramen and Veggie Ramen (added kimchi). Everything was DELICIOUS. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, the broths were amazing and everything was packed great. The broth was separate from the noodles and toppings which kept the meat crispy, so we appreciated that. Really enjoyed this place and appreciate Fort Collins getting more diverse food options. We ordered delivery through DoorDash. We ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, Spicy Chicken Ramen, Eggplant Bun, Kujira Fried Rice, and Harumaki (egg roll which really was a spring roll). The meal was great overall. My husband loved the Spicy Chicken Ramen! The Kujira Fried rice was to DIE FOR! Absolute must get! The Eggplant Bun was great (it was fried), I will likely try another flavor next time since I was expecting tempura fried. The Harumaki was also great! I didn't LOVE my Spicy Miso Ramen broth, everything in it was fresh and yummy, including the Pork Chashu! The broth was more smoky in note than Salty Miso-like that I prefer. It wasn't bad by any means, but I prefer a place in Loveland's broth better. We will definitely be back though! read more

Another "Japanese" place that is Asian Fusion at best. They have a bit of a confusing identity. It seems like they're trying to pass themselves off as an "all things Asian" restaurant. But, the decor and such definitely seems like they have a primarily Japanese theme, but everyone I interacted with (and everyone in the kitchen) seemed to be Chinese. I can't speak as much to how good they are as far as Chinese food is, but they're Japanese food is meh. The ramen is pretty flavorless. And, the gyoza seems to be about the same quality as frozen, Asian market, quality. I'm kind of leaning towards that being the origin. They always seem busy, and I'm not 100% sure why. I've been in twice and both times the food was not great. The service is actually pretty good though, no complaints there. read more
