The whopper did end up free, and unlike other promotions, I could apply the buy 3 items (whopper jr, original chicken sandwich, fries, drinks) for $7 promotion here (though it's $10 in Hawaii, where it is $8 in Long Beach where I live, and $7 in most other places in the country). The food was ready and we got it via the drive-thru as promised. This location allowed adding tomatoes to my chicken sandwich, heavy lettuce/pickles/onions on my whopper, and getting a plain bacon cheeseburger for my wife. When I asked for ragoons, she acted like she couldn't hear, three times I had repeat myself, same volume and vocal chords I've used to ask for ragoons in the past. She said they were out, except I'll bet three ragoons and I'll raise my three by another three that they weren't out but rather they shut the fryer down. 40 minutes left to go!! And the place was not slow, but man, they were moving fast to close. Food was still good but not with that frowny face reception. I'll pass next time and find somewhere else to eat.
