When I stepped foot in there, it was like a perfect combination of US and Japanese 7-11s. Plenty of American options, but also some Hawaiian exclusives and Japanese options too! Great hybrid store for sure. I went and got a teri chicken and egg salad sandwich, as well as some li hing watermelon candies. The candies weren't anything to write home about, but the sandwich was just as delicious as any other sandwich that I would have found in 7-11 Japan. If you weren't seeking Whalers General store one would not know of the fresh poke that is fairly priced. Enter and head on towards the right. The laid back staff are patient as you decide! In addition to poke are other pickled selections of seafood. The local and fresh caught poke are all full flavored. When it comes to favorites the husband and I found ourselves enjoying every bite of the spicy ahi and shoyu ahi. The texture and cuts of the fish make all the difference.
