My family and I came here for Christmas Eve dinner and I was blown away by the service. Sometimes holidays can slow things down, but that wasn't the case here. Our waitress was totally on top of it. We did have a reservation for hibachi which helped. They also have a bar you can grab a drink at if you have to wait for your table. They have a variety of wine, beer, and cocktails to complement your meal. My family loves hibachi and Kumo is quickly becoming a new favorite. Their sushi rolls are so good! I recommend ordering a spicy tuna roll to start your meal. For hibachi, the steak was yummy. I didn't love my hibachi shrimp, but I was drooling at my brother's scallops. I'll need to try those next. The ambiance and lighting is nice for a dinner out. Even though it was busy, I didn't feel like we were on top of other diners. They share parking with other businesses so I could see that potentially being a problem, although we were able to easily find a spot.

The food was mediocre. I had the chicken fried rice. It was literally just oily rice covered in soy sauce and chicken pieces. My husband had the teriyaki steak. It was bland and came out like fajitas. We had to ask for an extra plate so he could eat it. The service was very slow and the two entrees came out 10 min apart. The place itself looks like it is a hold over from the 80s. I would skip it.

Good food and entertainment! Enjoyable atmosphere and a nice place to celebrate an occasion with the family. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

As always, absolutely delicious! I wanted to leave another five star review because it's always incredible! Been a customer for over 13+ years. Our waiter has been the same the last few time and he's amazing! During the weekends is very busy (which is great!) so it's a tad bit louder in there but the weekdays are still busy but less loud which is nice! The sushi is always super tasty, we love trying their special rolls on the board by the sushi bar. The tuna Tataki is the perfect sushi appetizer too!

We love KUMO!! We usually go for special occasions as well because you can have a larger group. They put on a fantastic show for you while cooking the food right in front of you. It's very entertaining! The food is amazing. We usually get the steak and lobster hibachi. It comes with soup, ginger salad and a shrimp appetizer. We have had their sushi as well and it is very fresh and tasty. The wait staff is great, entertaining, and fast. The restaurant is clean and the decor is fancy!! ENJOY!

My family and I went here for my birthday and it was such a great experience! We made reservations which made the process so smooth and easy. We sat at the hibachi table and my little brother got to go over to the sushi bar and watch his rainbow roll get made in front of him. We had a variety of items ordered at our table (chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops, lobster) and they were all cooked so well. We even had someone who had an egg sensitivity and so they brought him out a separate white rice so there was no contact with egg. The lighting is dim which I personally like. Our waitress was so sweet and quick, then we had a great hibachi chef who did all his cool tricks. They even brought me free birthday ice cream and sang to me!

Not the best experience. 8 of us went for a special occasion with reservations at 5pm. Upon entry it smelled very strong of Natural Gas which was a bit nauseating. The first thing we did was notify the waitress & chef that one person in our party (whom is also blind) has a serious allergy to shellfish. The soup came first and was a tasty broth, however the small bowl was seriously chipped with sharp edges along the rim. (See picture) Next came the salad... truly terrible with only the white stalky part of the lettuce, no green. The fried rice which was fun to watch the preparation but the rice was dry and tasteless. ( thank goodness for soy sauce) If you get the beef be sure to make it the fillet, as the sirloin never breaks down while chewing and will have to be swallowed in one piece according to my husband. I ordered the scallops which were very good. The shrimp was dry and overcooked. The Chef used the same utensils for the beef, chicken and seafood turning the raw chicken then the medium rare beef (can you say cross contamination?). Also they put 2 shrimp on everyone's plate, including the blind person whom we informed him was allergic to shellfish of any kind. We all felt rushed as the waitress came out right away with "to go" containers for all of us. (Here's your hat, what's your hurry?) 18% gratuity added automatically to your total so watch what you leave. We usually give places a second chance but there are so many places to go and new places to try, so I doubt if we will ever be back.

Always love the sushi here. The service is attentive and never allow for an empty refillable drinks!

Good Hibachi cuisine. Service was so so but food was very good. I'd go back again for sure when it's less busy.

This is my first visit to Mahi Sushi - Thai Cuisine and Pho. As I walked in, I quickly recalled I was here many times under a Mexican restaurant. The ambiance is well spaced out with many tables and a small Sushi Bar. One look at their Sushi Bar, I decided to forego the Pho and Panang Curry. Yes, there was one roll I recalled that was very popular here, Magic Eels. I normally have a Saporo or Kirin or Heineken with this dish but because of the cold weather I opted for a hot tea! The Magic Eel roll has the BBQ eel (Unagi) as its topping. This is cross between salmon and chicken without any fishiness. The meat is soft and fluffy with some tempura flakes for crunch and cream cheese for silkiness. Avocado and cucumber add freshness with a drizzle of eel sauce! I was in Seven Heaven! While the restaurant is named Mahi Sushi, it is a full-service Japanese and Thai spot with Pho! OMG, my excellent experience with Magic Eel will draw me back to Mahi Sushi forever!

For the roles, we got a few, but the mango one was by far superior. The green curry was delicious, and not too hot. Service was friendly and quick. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would return.

We had to wait a few minutes to be served. When she finally came back, we ordered the steamed gyoza to split. I got the sashimi martini with seafood salad as an appetizer and my husband got a jalapeño firecracker or something appetizer. And we ordered the dynamite roll for us to split. The gyoza came out pretty quickly, and then they brought my martini seaweed sashimi, but they didn't bring my husband's firecracker appetizer so I had to sit there and wait for his to come so I didn't eat without him eating. Well, they served a table of 10 while we waited for the other half of our appetizer order. We go out for sushi because we like raw seafood. Their menu for their rolls is lacking with raw seafood. Their rolls had the fake crab meat or something in there was steamed or tempura. The only role they had that was all raw and not just a single first item was called the dynamite roll. And that one had 2 types of raw fish ( I believe it was tuna and yellowtail, but I'm not 100% sure) avocado and it was delicious, We walked in at 5:30 and did not walk out until 7 PM and it was not busy. There was three tables on our side. I could not see it was on the other side, but I can't imagine that being more than two because what I did see was empty. It's an older place, so it's not new and fancy but the food that we got was very good however, they need to have more raw options for rolls that are assorted rolls and do better with timing.
