Extremely terrible. The ambience was mediocre at best, with run down tables. Bartenders are not paying attention and don't notice customers. Seems like they are poorly trained and don't even know how to use the credit card- maybe going back to cash would suit the level of training they have. Rafael and his coworker ignored us for about 15 minutes while fixing random drinks and struggling with the credit card machine. When we reminded the bartender about how long we've been waiting, the lady did not even apologize, and rudely told us to wait leave. Left without a drink since it was impossible to even make eye contact. Do not recommend unless you feel like waiting 30 minutes for a poorly made rum and coke. read more

This is the worst bar experience I've ever had. Cool lighting and view but the waitress took her sweet time and got 2 drinks completely wrong after I had to tell her my drink order 3 times because she "forgets". Not to mention the waitress told me the wrong price and didn't mention any service charges (18%) for groups of 6 or more and I ended up paying 20$ for a drink and my friend ended up paying 25$ for one frozen margarita. Completely absurd. I will NOT be coming back and I will NOT recommend going here unless you want to waist your money and time. read more

This place food is horrible and the service same. Don't waster your time doing a reservation. You'll be waiting a long time even with a reservation. The waitress never even ask us if we wanted water for how long after we got seated. Go somewhere else. read more

Cute little rooftop bar in Isla Verde if you just want to get a drink and have a nice view of the beach. Drink are expensive though. There are couches all around and a few tales too. There is music playing but not to get up and dance, more to just relax and realize you want to go out dancing. This is more if you are into lounges and talking to others. read more

Previous reviews were basically based on views I guess...Visiting from NYC view was not really a point, but prices were. We had a pitcher of sangria for a $55 and cheese and meet plate for $24 was for 2 small people or 1 average with 2 pieces of bread. Service was really slow however girl was nice. Food was ok, If we can juge from having cold cut and cheese that were from big land, sauce on a pizza was extremely salty it was hard to taste any other ingredients. We were with 4 other friends and shared the same opinion. We wouldn't go there. read more

The decoration was great. but our room had water came in, the room on the 9th floor in the corner, I dont remember was 904-905, we went with our friend and had both room. We don't know why, when I woke up, my feet tough the floor, the water was half of the room, I was so freak out and screamed. later on, we went downstairs and told them, they didn't change the room or anything, ask a lady come and mopped the floor which made the floor more slippery. We have to be careful during we walk in the room. anyways, the holiday was fun outside, by definitely not good experience in the hotel. read more

Rooftop feel with the beach view is beautiful and it was clean and friendly. Definitely a nice spot for a night out. Food was not great, I had the crab tostones and I was excepting real crab not imitation. I asked the waitress about it and she insisted it was King Crab. Crab meat is not stringy with pink tones. Drinks were average with average prices. Happy hour only included vodka and house wine. read more

Great views but was dead on a Friday night around 6:45 pm for happy hour. Service was slow even with not many patrons to serve. Bread that came with the cheese platter was stale and the cheese assortment was elementary (mozz, gargonzola crumble, parm slice). No DJ like other reviewers mentioned. read more

i haven't stayed at the SJ Water & Beach Club Hotel, but I was staying next door -- this place is amazing.. it is right on the beach, and view is awesome -- there is a pool upstairs, surrounded by lounge chairs where you can chill, order a bottle of champagne, listen to tunes, etc. Next time I'm in PR I might consider staying at the hotel, but I will have a few drinks at the Wet bar for sure. read more

Came up here because we were staying in the hotel. It's just a quick elevator ride up. The location is neat because it's up high and it's all al fresco. The pool here is pretty stupid small. It's just a small soaking pool. Don't plan on doing any actual swimming here. At night, the DJ lights come out and the music start blaring. It's actually not that loud. You can hear it from the street but once you get up there it's not so overwhelming where you're screaming at your friends. Dunno how popular this place is, but at least when were there there were just two small handfuls of people. So maybe if you're a local and want to do a gathering this is an easy place to go. read more

Great appetizers and snacks, tasty treats, great service, and a great view! plus, they have a DJ that comes in at 10 to play music. It's a great place to have a party or just to hang with friends. Had a great time with a group on a girls night out. There were 12 of us in the group- the staff was gracious and accommodating. The food we ordered was tasty, but the menu was a limited tapas/small plates selection. We were pleasantly surprised by quality and service because this is a hotel restaurant. We experienced the best service of our trip with Mercedes our waitress. She was attentive with sincere and positive energy. The view is spectacular overlooking the ocean and sunset. Both food and drink are delicious. We enjoyed yucca with tuna, calamari and perfect skirt steak ( slightly salty balanced by the side dish). Mercedes promised the perfect pina colada and she was right. Cute rooftop bar overlooking the shore but really slow service! The 2 bar tenders seemed overwhelmed despite not being too busy. The Dj didn't play consistently good music and the dance floor was pretty small. Better for small groups or couples on a date. read more

The view of the beach from the rooftop is amazing. Would definitely recommend going to see the sunset. The service was very good, the food was good quality, and on Tuesday night it was 2 for 1 drinks which was a nice surprise. Overall, my girlfriend and I very much enjoyed dinner here. read more

I would not even give this place one star but unfortunately that's not an option. During my visit to PR, not knowing that many of the restaurants close before 9 (Covid restrictions), I and my companions found ourselves being turned around a couple of times. Because of this before heading to Mist I called ahead and asked the front desk clerk at the hotel named Stephanie if they were open and still serving food. I explained to Stephanie that we had been to 3 other places and were turned away and wanted to make sure we'd be able to be seated. Stephanie indicated that the restaurant was serving food until 10 and taking walk ins. The call was made at 9:35pm, at 9:44pm we arrived to the hotel and were met by security at the door and told that the restaurant was at capacity and not accepting any additional guest. I explained to the security guard that we had just called and spoke with Stephanie, at which time he asked if we like to speak with the manager, and we said yes. Stephanie came out after 10 minutes telling us that they were not accepting any guest. She acknowledged that she spoke to me prior to our arrival but that when I called she didn't check the restaurants capacity and there was nothing she could do about it now. Her tone and attitude was really dismissive and rude. It was so off putting! read more

This is the best place to watch the sunset in Isla Verde. I stayed down the street at the El San Juan and this was a short walk away. It wasn't crowded at all when we visited in April 2015 and we had a great time enjoying our cocktails and the view. Lots of seating and there was a DJ spinning some dope beats. read more

We went on a Friday night around 10pm. In the low season. That's why I think that the occupation was less than I expected. But the location was great, the entrance beautiful and classy. The prizes were not too high and the staff was very friendly. They had cozy white sitting corners, and I bet that in high season, during the day as well as at night they're completely packed. read more

The view was amazing , it's a great spot to go for pictures. The service was a little slower than most places , main reason I give it 4 stars. They have good specials throughout the day.
