    Sushi and sashimi

I'm so glad that I'm able to have AYCE sushi at this time. I only regretted that I didn't make reservation and waited 45 minutes. However, their food is better than it was before. Definitely will come back with my friends

I love sushi (right next to a nice ribeye as my favorite food) so I was excited to found out there was a local delivery place right next to where I live on 41st and Spruce. Slept in on a Saturday and was feeling lazy so I decided to get some sushi for lunch. Ordered $10.95 lunch combo which was a good deal for three full (8-piece) rolls: I got a tuna roll, spicy salmon crunch roll, and UFO roll (fried imitation crab salad and avocado). Also got a Sweet Heart Roll- spicy crunchy tuna and avocado inside, topped with sliced tuna. The sushi rice felt a little bit old and the fish could've been fresher, but the rolls were pretty big and filling, with a good amount of fish. For the low prices and cheap delivery I can't complain. Don't order from here expecting Morimoto-level food, but if you want quick, satisfying sushi that doesn't break the bank, this is your place. If you order $20+ and pay in cash, they'll take 20% off!

Really not great. This review is for delivery. We ordered over $40 worth of sushi and the rice used in everything was hard and stale, like it had been sitting around in the fridge for a while. Maybe because it was a Monday night? Either way, rice is one of the main components for sushi so it's pretty important to get right. There are 8 pieces per roll, but that's only because the rolls are SUPER skinny. Also, for some reason the soy sauce was super salty and strong as well. Sushi is usually served with a special type of soy sauce and they definitely did not pair us with the correct one. The only upside is that it was slightly cheaper than other sushi places-- but what is the point if I don't enjoy the food? I will not order here again, especially with many better places in the area for delivery with similar prices and significantly better sushi.

Yummy and affordable sushi in West Philly. 3 Roll lunch combo was $10.95, no soup or salad but that's fine. The eel avocado and Philadelphia rolls were yummy. The fish was fresh. Sushi/Sashimi a la carte is priced for one piece, but the sashimi is decently sized. Delivery is free and fast, with a minimum of $10. I'll be ordering sushi takeout here from now on instead of from downtown.

I've only had vegetable sushi from here (because I'm a vegetarian) so keep that in my mind while you're reading this. It's pretty good! You can't really screw up a vegetable roll like a fish roll. Delivery is usually quick and I'm very grateful for that because this place is one of the only sushi places that will deliver to me. I would recommend giving it a shot, mostly because the prices are decent and delivery is fast.

Two trays of sushi for takeout and edamame from home.

We had dinner reservations for 7:45 but got there two hours early because we really wanted to try out their happy hour. Huge selection of food for happy hour and delicious drinks. We waited an hour but were sat and immediately cancelled our dinner reservations because we knew it was about to go down. Fair warning - if you're approaching 40 like us, it's dark, it's loud, and you're sitting on top of people. It will be worth it. We had the double knot roll, spicy tuna roll, BAO, and some drinks. All 10/10. But the real star is the grilled meats. Specifically the scallion ribeye. We tried to take pictures of all of it but it was literally too dark in the restaurant. I would go back and just order ribeye skewers for the entire happy hour. They don't take happy hour reservations but get there early. It's the best.

The food was really good, and everything was presented well. The service was outstanding, the staff was attentive professional, and very patient. Stand out dish was grilled scallops. My table loved the fried rice. Enjoy your meal!!

Food was phenomenal! Everything we had was delicious, very tasty. The general tso's soup dumplings were delicious. The pork bao buns were an explosion of flavor! We ordered the crispy chicken bao buns, crispy shrimp, general tso soup dumplings, wagyu beef, Korean bbq beef, and hamachi ceviche. We were a group of 3 so one thing that was nice was that our waiter added 1 additional skewer/bao bun for the meals instead of ordering 2 plates of them. Out of all the food we ordered the most delicious were the meats; the wagyu and Korean bbq beef. They were so tender and lightly seasoned because the beef quality itself was good. The Wagyu beef was paired with an apricot dip that was really good. The chilli crisp chicken bao was also good but didn't have much sauce, so it was on the dry side. It was supposed to have chilli so we expected it to be spicy but it was not. We all really liked the crispy shrimp--it was truly crispy. The sauce and the radish paired really nicely with the shrimp as well. The one meal we did not enjoy were the soup dumplings. When we got them they were dripping of raw dough and had no soup in them. The waiter was kind enough to replace them but we still didn't really enjoy them. I did not try the hamachi ceviche because I'm pregnant but it was also a favorite from the group. For dessert we had the mini ice cream cones. The waiter again added an extra one for us. The flavors were chocolate banana and mango. They were good, small bites. One of them melted so quickly and fell on the table and the waiter was really kind and got us a replacement. I did use the bathroom and absolutely hated it. It was unbelievably dark in there and there were weird sounds playing in there. I went in there to make sure I didn't have food in my teeth but couldn't even see. Super inaccessible, hopefully that's something that can be changed. The service overall was clearly excellent! I would recommend this place, especially if you come for the meats. It was surprisingly filling too.
