Luckily, today I was in the area with my best friend to get a massage, and it was only about 10 minutes away from where we were, so we decided to stop by. The egg tarts here were honestly as good as people had said they were. They were delicious, and I especially loved how affordable they were. The staff was also very nice, and the restroom was so clean. The parking sign said that parking was free for 2 hours, but we only stayed for about 10 minutes to grab and eat our egg tarts. My friend said that after parking there, she met the owner of a restaurant next door, who told her that the parking is actually only free for 1 hour. Either way, we left after about 10 minutes because it was almost time for our massage appointment. Today, I bought 2 egg tarts for my friend, and I also bought 6 more to take home and enjoy with my family tomorrow morning. While we were there, my friend and I each ate one, and they were really delicious! I definitely think I'll come back again the next time I'm in this area.

They make several different types of egg tarts, including a regular one (canto style) and Portuguese style. There's a nearby parking lot, and there is some seating at this spot (some outdoors).

There is a hot case which you can see what is being cooled down. The smell is always amazing. The bread loaves are great. The cakes are good, not overly sweet too. If you're lucky, they might have bags of cake scraps for sale. Try the egg tarts too, both versions are delicious, but the Macau is better. The people are always helpful and nice. Service is always good. Definitely come check it out.

Although the crust could be flakier, the egg custard part was very good. I haven't tried everything in the store but what I have tried recently, I liked it a lot. I will be back to try other items. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. The taro and mango egg pudding cakes were so yummy! The cakes have 3 layers and they have the fillings in between. The egg pudding isn't as fragrant as I'd hoped since you can barely taste it as the other flavors are stronger, but it gives the cake a nice moist layer. I also enjoy their breads. The buns I got were great, as were the Portuguese egg tarts. They even sold Chinese tamales at my last visit, so I picked one up too. I don't know many places that sell these, and I used to eat them all the time when my grandma made them years ago, but now that no one in my family knows how to make them, it's a special treat if I can find it. TGTG is an app that allows businesses to sell their leftover or flawed goods for a discounted price in a bundle of their choice. So you don't know what you get, BUT it reduces food waste (#sustainability) while being easier on your wallet. You pay a price they name and they give you the value they listed. The owner (I presume) handed us a prepackaged brown bag the moment we got there. It wasn't busy at all so the whole transaction was under 5 minutes. It's a mom & pop Asian bakery that's spacious and warm. Our surprise bag contained 7 mini breads: black sesame mochi, red sesame mochi, taro bun with filling, hot dog cheese bread, buo luo bao, ham + cheese bun, and another bread I couldn't quite identify. This is $21 value for $6.99 is what we paid. After heating them up, they tasted almost like fresh so we can't complain. However, I would say these days $3 would get you bigger buns at other similar bakeries, but their fillings were very generous, so it's hard to say. Parking has spots designated to the bakery so look out for the signs.

Bread of their buns are soft and fluffy with a nice slight chew texture. I've been obsessed with their Shredded Pork Roll. It's a long flat green onion bun that they rolled up filled with pork sung and mayo. So soft and fluffy and filling. Bun is pretty big for only being $3.75 Spam & Egg bun was really good too. Never seen this option at any other bakery, great for kids! Tried a handful of their buns and only one I would stray away is their BBQ Pork buns or anything BBQ Pork filled. Seems like they make their BBQ Pork in house and its not good.
